You feel a chill run down your spine, as a portal opens from beside you, a woman stepping out...a humanoid with pale skin, with a purple tint. Her clothing was extremely basic, made from some strange leathery material, like that of a snake's egg shell. Her eyes strike you, a crystal blue, and they almost seem to stare into your being. However, after a moment, you notice something..she's starved, her cheek bones standing out. It wasn't her normal structure. The flaming one throws a fireball at the girl, who seems to not notice it hurtling towards her.

The being reaches into your mind, or, tries to, but quickly recoils.
"..Kishin...help me, I'm not the monster that the flaming one is seeking...that was my father..." The being in the book calls out. The flaming one grows worried, and readies a fireball in preparation in case the book corrupted you.

Suddenly, you can feel something reach into your mind, and you, in turn, are able to dive into its. Do you enter the mind of the force invading yours, or do you allow it to simply roam about your thoughts?

You find the pages inside the book to be..blank, although, you feel....like there is something there, just under the pages. Almost like if you leaned in, and squinted, you could see something.

Teh change in heat is jarring, you feeling on fire for a moment...however, the real shock is when you grab the book.
"...Hellllpppppp meeeeeee...." a horsed, weak voice calls into your mind. "...heeeelllppp meee.....I'm dying.....I don't want...to die..."

"....It's speaking to you, isn't it? Rip the book, and free it...so I may finish the job...." The flaming one says.
"..Rip the book...free me...I..need...help...." The being in the book calls out, distress in its female voice.

"What would make you think that?" The fire being asks, sounding confused.

"..That....book, is simply a cage. Inside it..is a monster, one that was bested by a fire one thousands of years ago, the master of flames, our progenitor. He created us to keep this creature at bay, but now..it's corrupting us. Even know....I can hear her speaking to me..." The fire being says, its form flairing for a moment. "..the monster also forged the frost men, beings able to kill us with their intense colds. It's been a long war, and now, I seek to end it..with your help. You need to rip the book open, to release the monster..and then I will end it. I cannot touch the book directly, or risk being corrupted, but you, you might be able to, without risk of corruption."

"Due to the fact I could sense you, you must of come into contact with one of my kin. Poor Jessica....." it says, seeming sad for the apparently quite evil Jessica. "....Welcome of Pyro-Cryo, the homeworld to the flaming ones, and the frost men. You may of meet the legendary Lisa, who is a crossbreed between the two." It says. "Now, the reason you were brought here....We've heard about you, Kishin. We need your help to vanquish an evil being that's been corrupting our people for hundreds of years now. Follow me." It explains, before slowly floating towards a faint, faint glowing in the distance, it only being seen by you once she starts moving towards it. After a short walk, you find yourself near a huge bubble of heat among the fridged wastes, and at the center of this 20 by 20 bubble, where the land was thawed, grass grew, and the snow that landed into its area boiled away, was a book, laying on a large rock. The binding almost looked to be human skin.
"....That, is the thing we need help with." It says, with fear in its voice.

You find none, really, however a strange being, one that seems to be entirely made of fire floats near by, landing before you. The ice-people flee from this creature, and the fire creature pays them no mind. "..Hello, Kishin. We've heard much about you...we need your help." The fire being says.

Time is now screwed, so now you can pretty much hope from story line to story line, without fear stuff with progress without you.
