A laugh is heard, much like the animal the demon is named after, as Jackal appears. "Oh, don't worry sweetheart. It's about to hurt a whole lot worse." He says, and sets off another explosion, just as powerful as the last.
When he tries, he finds that a katana is pressed against his throat.
"That would be the death of us all." The man wielding the sword says.

"What kind of demon?" He asks, before showing you the masks of several demons.
Maka smiles a bit in her sleep before starting to mumble again.

Before he gets the chance, a blade appear pressed against his neck as a man in ninja apparel appears.
"Killing her...would be a bad idea...." He says, in a slightly robotic voice.

"Yes..." Zero says, as a large magic circle appears below them, similar to Jackal's magic. "But you aren't touching him." Zero disappears, the forest lighting up seconds after, an explosion strong enough to nearly blow the entire forest away.
Minx is left on the ground, her body is far more blob like.
"Ow..that...really...hurt..." She moans out, obviously in pain.

After what feels like a few hours, but is probably just ten or twenty minutes, they emerge into a clearing. There seems to be nothing here, just empty space.
Popping a crystal into her mouth like one would a tooth pick, Minx strolled over to Zero.
"Well? Is that murderer here?" She asks.

After walking for quite some time, Zero turns off the roads, plunging into a thick forest.
Minx stays right behind him. So close to him that he can smell her powerful breath. It smells almost sickeningly sweet.
