Yeah, that looks fine.
With the guitar successfully tuned Noe looked up to see the small child staring at him. "Hey." He said, a little confused as to why the child was at all near him, he'd never really been great with children but he didn't really want to be too bad this time so he'll try to make an effort. "Do you want to hear a song, I promise not to play anything too sad." He said with a smile.
Yeah, sure, as long as you can still integrate yourself into the story it should be fine.
Natalie turned towards Sam. "Listen, I just suggested this place as a temporary home, I did not expect this many people to be here nor did I expect us to have an actual child here. You don't all have to stay here but this is a relatively safe place and I doubt we'll get any looters or murderers out in central park unless they're already here. And don't you dare think me and Noe are not going to guard as well, we've already been through situations like we're all already paranoid about, so until I trust all of you I'm not going to let my guard down." She then sat down, leaning against the helicopter as she takes her side bag off and places it beside her.
Noe, on the other hand, seemed more relaxed with the situation, he pulled the guitar out of the helicopter, placed his baseball bat inside the helicopter, and sat beside the empty fire pit, quietly tuning the guitar while humming to himself.
Well I am, but I'm not sure what's going on with most of the other participants, if I did something wrong I deeply apologize.
Seems interesting, and I'd be very interested in playing a punk rock club type setting, as I'm really getting into the genre as of late.
As the remaining members of the group neared their destination they could see a downed news helicopter as promised, however it was almost completely overrun with fauna. Inside you could see an acoustic guitar propped up and a box with rations as well as several bottles of water strewn across the inside of the helicopter. A tarp had been propped up extending out in front of the chopper to create an area of shade. In this area of shade are two sleeping bags and a fire pit can be seen. The surrounding area is filled with long, unkempt grass and a wild variety of other flora making it seem that, from far enough away, no one's ever been there.
Natalie speaks up "Our basic rules are that no one touches our shit without asking. No one steals our food, no one steals our water, and no one plays the guitar without getting confirmation that you can from one or both of us. If you do then you can't stay here and you will have to leave as soon as possible. If anyone has a problem with that you can just walk away no because it's a very simple thing to follow. Other than that as long as you don't get on my or Noe's nerves then I see no reason that you can't stay here for a somewhat extended period of time, this is not your permanent home but it is a place you are welcome to stay for at least a little bit. Any questions?"
Natalie looked at Jeff and said. "I'm Natalie, and this is Noe, a friend of mine." She said as she pointed to Noe. She then turned to Azrael. "I'm sorry, but chances are not exactly something I'm willing to take at this time. I've been through something like that before and I'm not willing to do that again. Now when we get there I'll lay some ground rules but at the moment what you're looking for is a downed news helicopter." She said as she started walking in the direction of central park.
Noe looked at the commotion erupting around a tree, he thought he had possibly seen a child but he wasn't paying much attention to what was going on so it could have just been a bush or something. He wasn't that big a fan of children to begin. They were loud, obnoxious, generally needy, and he would refuse to smoke around anyone under the age of 14 so kids meant no smoking in the group. He was only barely interested in the commotion so he started to follow Natalie, who was snapping and singing a Bratmobile song to herself.
Noe picked up his baseball bat and tapped it against he feet very much like the way a batter would before he went up to the plate and he put it behind his head, resting it on his neck.
"Listen, I don't think we should hide in the store, if we really want to try to get out of the situation we're in right now where we think every bush in this area going to kill us we all have to leave this general vicinity. If you all promise you aren't lying to us and you're not going to try to kill me and Noe here then maybe we can work out a deal allowing you to stay at our little camp we have set up in Central Park, otherwise you're on your own, but I do think that in any case we should get out of here before discussing those options." Natalie said to the small group that seemed all seemed to come out of nowhere. People seemed to have just been popping out of everywhere.
Noe took out a cigarette and put in his mouth. "I agree with that." He said, though it didn't really need to be said as he was obviously going to be going with Natalie. He looked in his box of cigarettes to see there was only one more actually there, Better save that for a special occasion he thought to himself as he lit the cig and took a long draw.
Well this being Free I can't really make rules on how much people should post, but I do agree that everything should be relevant to what's going on, if you're not either furthering the plot of the roleplay, adding bits of character development, or furthering the relationships between characters than try not to post as it is kinda bogging it down and making unnecessary confusion for players. I know that I try to write at least a paragraph but if you can't write that much it's fine, just keep it on topic and keep advancing what's going on.
