Right, listen up, we're not getting out of this battle in any realistic fashion, so I think this is actually a great time for Spark to show up. Here's how I think it should go:

    - The group of escapees, beset upon from all sides by a mass of the City Watch.

    - No horses, and can't escape into the plains because they just wouldn't be able to get away in such a vast open landscape.

    - Spark shows up, with a company of either her fellow assassins/body guards, or a regiment of Mundhir's men, and drives off the City Watch.

    - Everyone piles either onto horses/camels, and carts, and then we ride off.

How does that sound?
Alright guys, I can fast track us to our next location if you want? The Prince will basically narrate the journey there in one post, until we stumble upon something.

I'll be able to get Spark in pronto with this method.

OR

We can carry on as we have, but it's a two days walk to the forest and I dunno if you guys are up for that.

Spark will need to pick the time and place she appears.
God damnit guys, I leave you alone for one evening and look what happens! This is why this thread can't have nice things.

Let me read the IC, don't worry Spark, we'll get you in there one way or the other.

Accepted.

We'll be breaking our way out of the dungeon soon. The exit will be a mile or so from Eblistan's walls, hidden by a rock collection. The guards outside will be likely un-expecting an assault, and will just be milling around doing bored guards stuff, to put it poetically. Perhaps you could give them something to do? Or silence them altogether.

You may meet us there if you wish, or further along our path. I'll PM you some stuff that your character would know about Mundhir, and his men over in Baalor. That'll have to wait until tomorrow.

@Syrian, you mind if I send you a PM about a potential character? I haven't read the full IC yet, so it may not fit.

Sure thing :)
No? You guys got all beefed up in the OOC, and then the thing launches, and suddenly what? Ebola? Where'd you all go?

Kylmi is in the abandoned barracks where they [you] stopped, but I don't think it was noted. But it isn't much of an issue, anyways I will let some others catch up and probably post that Kylmi simply wondered up ahead. c:

Balls, sorry. Was so busy trying to repair my earlier mistake that I missed your post entirely.

Before I read the IC, is this open?

We've lost a couple of guys, so I see no problem with another entry.

Your possible character will be starting outside of the dungeon though. Come back to me with a character sheet and we'll discuss the manner in which you'll enter the RP.

The Prince took to his feet in a flash, wincing at the pain suddenly shooting up his spine. The fight had been brief, a mere footnote in the chronicles of his battlefield exploits, but already he could tell he had greatly overestimated his rate or recovery. The Halfbreed woman was looking a him, and though his hearing had taken on a pulsing hum, he heard her muffled words clear enough.

"I am fine," he wheezed, wiping his brow with his bare wrist. The hair came back slick, and smelt sickly sweet; he hoped this was a sign that his body was repulsing the venom. "Duranar has seen fit that I survived my encounter." An abrupt coughing fit dented his confidence in such matters.

Looking over at the Lizard, Mundhir shook his head. "From now on, the only thing that touches my body is water, proper food and good wine..." he paused as he felt his left leg lose itself to numbness, "though perhaps I am hasty in making statements. If there is any of that paste left, I'll sample some."

The Halfbreed's stomach made an audible growl, and Mundhir smirked. "We should find some place safe to rest, as soon as we're out of here," she said, though not directly to anyone.

"Aye, the tunnel is but a little longer. The entrance will come to us in the form of a simple door, set between two large rocks. There will be guards posted, judging by the two I have found. If we can get past, or through them, then we'll be met by the open plains - Uchfos will be about two day's travel. We will lose any pursuers there, and then journey south to Baalor. My men will take us in, and we'll rest properly. As mentioned, you will all be rewarded," he said almost cheerfully despite his degrading health. "Just get me there, and in the meantime, we'll have to make do with what we find on the way, and stop only when we must."

Limping onwards, the Prince smiled brightly at the Half-Elf, "Trust me in these matters, you look upon the man who cast down Nillanor's armies with but a handful of warriors. I am much more capable than I have perhaps let on thus far. This is not the first time I have been chased by those who would see me dead, it's just this time, my pursuers are my own people."

The last of his words struck him with a sickening sense of loss, but he shrugged it off. "Lizard - Rin - whatever your name is, that paste if you'd be so kind."
Ah no wait, Neph just posted. Don't read anything I've put until I've read the post and made the changes. What bad timing lol.

EDIT: Sorted.

The guards will be waiting outside the tunnel on the other end. We can either sneak past them (the rogue or assassin leading them off), or we could murder them (beef-man charging in). Though I guess incapacitating them is also on the table. The Rogue and Assassin could also just take them out stealthily - I don't know why I'm dictating this.

Look, there's a bunch of guards out there, no boss or anything, just the tutorial's ending scene. Do whatever to whomever, I say!

Anyway, once that's done, we're home free, world's longest tutorial over :)
