Established during the Sengoku period, the Omamori Foundation has served to protect Japan from superhuman threats for centuries. The organisation began as a trio of siblings fighting dangerous youkai and those who would ally with them from a small shrine, although it has grown immensely since then. The modern Omamori Foundation's HQ appears to be a completely unremarkable office building from the outside. The inside of the building is a different story.

The organisation now employs a multitude of heroes, ranging from cyborgs to magic-users to people empowered by gods and an assortment of other oddities and the HQ's facilities reflect this. With an assortment of training facilities, a library full of arcane tomes, a workshop to repair or improve on any weapons/mechanical body parts and a small medical bay.

More often than not, these individuals operate in teams of three to five. While the Omamori Foundation recommends their agents try to keep their actual identities secret to avoid endangering their family or friends, the higher ups won't take any action against people who want to fame unless they try to reveal the truth about the organisation as well.

A recent addition, created through a combination of science and magic, the GATE System uses beacons set in areas that have suffered frequent attacks in the past to allow the Foundation's agents to get where they're needed quickly. Whether it's a seaside resort town tormented by an island of animals mutated into sapient humanoids (who believe their rapid evolution to be a sign of their superiority and right to rule over mankind) by less than ethical experiments, an alien crime ring whose members don't mind hurting people to make a quick buck or any other dark force, the organisation aims to respond to any superhuman threats that arise.

So basically, this RP will revolve around an organisation of superhuman crime fighters based in a fictional Japanese city and their fight against an assortment of threats to humanity. Ideally, the characters should fit the mould of either a magical girl (or boy) or tokusatsu-style transforming hero.

The RP is intended to be light-hearted for the most part, although there will be serious points. That said, it should still have the potential to bounce back after those events.

Sounds interesting.
*pokes thread*
Kamen Rider Knight? Rachel thought about what Nicholas said for a few moments, then it clicked. Suddenly, his earlier explanation made a lot more sense.

She couldn't help but smile a bit at Rin's comments. The blonde was...certainly enthusiastic about their unusual situation and she couldn't really blame her. Being given superpowers to undertake heroic quests in another world wasn't exactly something that happened in most people's lives. Sure, the work was ultimately to pay off some guy's debt, but that didn't change the fact that they were going to be fighting bandits, evil sorcerers and whatever else showed up down the line to help innocent people.

As the rest of the group made their way through the portal, Rachel knelt down to gather her new belongings. In the process of fumbling around with them and trying to find a comfortable way to hold them, the Driver and Burgermeal seemed to vanish all together, having accidentally ended up in whatever behind-the-back hammerspace most Kamen Riders seemed to store their gear in when it wasn't needed.

After reaching behind her back and confirming that she hadn't just dropped things on the ground, Rachel made her way through the portal.
Firstly, I'm sorry it took me this long to respond. I was trying to figure out what was happening with this thread too, to be honest. As it stands, I haven't made any real progress with the OP and it doesn't seem like that will change any time soon. Because of this, I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel the RP for now. I may try the idea again in future when I've got things planned out better, possibly with a smaller cast so I don't feel so overwhelmed. Sorry for wasting people's time.
She's not going to have the Magphone for a while, assuming she gets it eventually. Honestly, she doesn't really have anything phone-ish at the moment.
"and that the girl holding the cell phone-doohickey over there is going to be shouting about how awesome space is later on."

Wait, the one with the cell phone or the one with the space theme?
Rachel shook her head as she got back to her feet. That was...Well, she wasn't exactly sure what it was, but it was definitely something. Rin's continued hamminess brought her back to reality. The blonde definitely had a point, they were here, there were (hopefully) evil forces in need of punishment and they had the means to deal out that punishment.

As Nicholas introduced himself, she tilted her head and raised an eyebrow. Yu-Gi-Oh...Pokemon...Batman..? What was he talking about? Well, there would probably be plenty of time to ask later...or it would just be apparent when that "punching evil in the face" thing Rin had mentioned started. Either way, it wasn't something that needed to be elaborated on immediately as far as she was concerned.

"I'm Rachel," she stated, before holding the Driver up and grinning, "and I guess Kamen Rider Fourze now too. Nice to meet you."

While she had planned on checking out the bulletin board after introductions were out of the way, it seemed that two members of the group had already decided on a mission. Rachel frowned. Sure, it was the reason they were all there, but learning at least the names of the people they were in this mess with seemed important too.

"Protecting a princess sounds like a good, heroic task to start with." She glanced at the board. "Although if they don't need all of us, I wouldn't mind dealing with those bandits."
Everything Rin's said so far seems perfectly reasonable to me. >.> <.<
Some people would find Rin's exclamation ridiculous, especially with how quickly she'd jumped to that conclusion. Rachel, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel she had a point. After all, heroics and adventure were the standard outcome whenever a series started with a person being pulled from Earth into a fantasy world. Mr. Gold referring to them as mercenaries and warriors seemed to back up the assessment too.

Rachel couldn't help but feel a bit excited by this scenario, she wasn't fond of the idea of working off someone else's debts, but chances for this kind of adventure didn't exactly pop up often under normal circumstances. She stepped towards the bulletin board, curious about the kind of work they'd be expected to do. Almost immediately, the brunette tripped over a pile of items she'd failed to notice at her feet.

"Ow!" She yelped, "Who left a pile of ju-"

Looking in the direction of the objects, her face lit up. That belt, the briefcase, the toy hamburger...was this really what it looked like? She sat up and grabbed the Driver. A sudden rush of Kamen Rider Fourze's memories entered her mind, removing any doubt about what she was looking at.

"...Woah..."
