No, you're right Danni, it warranted a discussion and I think we're all in agreement on that sort of feeling of apathy that's affecting the IC. Personally, my inspiration has been start and stop as well, and I imagine it doesn't help when you get "blocked" from posting. I know when I miss a post (regardless of the reasoning for it) it can be hard for me to jump back in with the same vigor, and constant on/off posting probably makes that even more difficult.

Hiya Rex! I don't think there's any needs for apologies, everyone is understandably busy and like you said, I hope we all just have an understanding of the impact it can have on everyone, and how to rectify it. c:

I hope no one minds too much when I might have to miss posting next-next weekend (6/7-6/8) @_@ I'll mention it again later on, but we're helping my dad move to his new apartment, and I'm the designated person to wait around for the cable/internet person to show up. Which does mean I'll hopefully have internet at some point, but we're also celebrating my birthday. :p

To answer your question Pach, I can only speak for myself but I don't have a problem at all with the concept of daily posting, and I can manage it most of the time as long as what we're doing is reasonably interesting. Fight scenes aren't really my favorite thing (which is totally a 'me' problem, because one of my characters is a non-fighter and the other would probably rather be a pacifist) so I get a little overwhelmed, and we've essentially been in a string of fight scenes for a while.

I agree, myself included. To be honest, since posting is so inconsistent lately I kinda wind up thinking "Well maybe it's fine if I don't post today" more often than usual, but that's a lame excuse on my part and I'd much rather we all bump up our posting frequency.

And yup, older! My sister's birthday is this Sunday :> I'm assuming my dad's coming over this weekend, so I'm looking forward to (hopefully!) ice cream cake and going out for dinner.

I just got back from returning a textbook and buying my older sister a birthday card >w< I ended up giving her present to her when it got here on Monday because it was a rear-view mirror that sticks to your computer monitor (she asked for it specifically, she works in a cubicle and doesn't like not knowing when someone's behind her because she goes on the internet and listens to podcasts while she works) and I knew she'd want to try it out right away, haha.

So many birthdays this month and next! :D

Edit: I think that's reasonable, Danni. I'd like to see maybe Kei try her hand at moving the scene forward?

I listened to it a couple more times, it actually is growing on me quite a bit |D I just found out the other day that VIXX is coming back really soon! Probably between Tuesday and Wednesday next week, according to their countdown timer. I'm not thrilled about the styling choices, but I hope the song is good! "Eternity"/clocks sounds like it could be interesting, although it's been done kind of a lot already.

So many Flying V (or similar) guitars! <3<3<3 Jeez, I always forget how RELAXING it is to hear a good metal song ;w;

Thaum: Group A

Selan's eyes were wide with terror as she looked into the face of Gaoh Capuello. There was a time when she saw a resemblance between him and his son, but not anymore. The cruelty written on his face, everything they went through in Tabul... Illusion or not, Gaoh Capuello was a monster of a man. His large hand gripped her upper arm tightly, his fingers digging into her skin. The aim of the cannon attached to his other arm drifted back and forth between her and Don.

"What did I say..." Gaoh laughed menacingly. "You can't escape!"

"Don, just go!" Selan shouted, half-heartedly trying to tear herself out of his grasp. She could see the fear and confusion in Don's eyes; she knew him too well now. "Listen to me for once! Don't risk everything over something that isn't real, just run!" she pleaded.

Gaoh chuckled, a low, menacing rumble. "This is as real as anything..." The cannon began to glow, and Selan could feel the heat radiating from the weapon.

She squeezed her eyes shut.

Thaum: Group B

As Syed backed away in retreat from the stalking Firons, Lisette took aim with her bow.

"Lisette, don't--"

Gritting her teeth, she willed herself to keep her eyes trained on her target, and let the arrow fly. It shot past the other Guilders, hitting its target square in its neck. The Firon immediately collapsed on its side, and its siblings focused their attention on the fallen wolf. Lisette exhaled with her cheeks puffed out, making a fuuuuu sound. Even if it hurt her to hurt animals, she wasn't going to make the same mistakes again!

The large, mother Firon appeared again, howling with fury and despair. Another column of fire, bigger this time, shot through the middle of the group, with half retreating to either side of the street.

Syed and Moira looked at Lisette with astonishment. "Um, did I do something wrong?" Lisette asked, fumbling with readying another arrow.

How goes your birthday, Pach? :D

A pretty popular k-pop group called INFINITE released a new music video today, so my friends are buzzing about that. I've got some problems with the way it was shot and edited, but it's not bad, I don't think. I like their older songs a lot better, though.



I need to get a drink and a snack because I've been sitting at my computer for hours talking to my friend on Skype/giving her advice/letting her vent about stuff, but I'll start writing my post soon!
