Dangit Kei, you know when there's a doll maker put in front of me I have to make my characters ;A;

And dangit guys, fine I'll make another Skype thingamabob. @_@ My main demotivation was because I already have two accounts, one to hide from my mom and the other to hide from my friends D; But... I wanna join the fun *A*
I just posted, thank you for waiting Fox :)

I'm going to bed now, good night guys. Hope you all have a good Tuesday!

The Tower 2F: Mirror Hall

The elevator ride could have been smoother, but it seemed as though its shaky, jerky ascent was a sign of what was to greet them upon the door opening.

Atlas was the first to see the room in its entirety, but the smell and sight of blood caused The Pride to scramble out of the elevator, looking around wildly. Lurching towards them was Dr. Dream, covered in blood. His strained voice was a combination of agony and despair, and the last thing he did before collapsing was point a bloodied finger towards Marcus and Atlas.

Lisette made a sound halfway between a sob and a gag and quickly pressed her hand over her mouth, trying to focus on a clean spot on the floor. Even though the others were saying that it wasn't real, she had never seen a dead body before. Everything about it was awful, and she didn't know how some of the others could be so calm.

Amy knelt beside him, pressing two fingers to his neck. She quickly confirmed that their client was dead.

Selan stood still, her lips pursed and her eyes narrowed. Even though Dylan was most likely right, there was no shaking the feeling of seeing someone dead on the ground, covered in horrible wounds. While the others flocked to Trixie, she couldn't tear her eyes away from Dr. Dream's corpse, and repeating what he had said in her head. It didn't make any sense.

As Lute passionately voiced his frustrations, Lisette thought to herself that she didn't believe Dr. Dream, either; Atlas had been with them for some time, and Dr. Dream looked and acted like the wounds had been inflicted on him recently. It was possible, but... They wouldn't, she knew they wouldn't. Marcus wasn't like that, and Atlas didn't seem like that type of person either.

Where do we go from here? We've found the doctor, and... well..."

"Keep your guard up. Whatever happened might still be here."

That caused Lisette to start looking around in the darker corners of the room, fidgeting with one of her pigtails. "Can we go now? I... The smell of blood, it's..." she said, looking ready to break out in a run if anything popped out at them.

Selan finally looked away from the body. "Is this truly the top floor?" she asked, although her eyes were settled on Atlas. "There must be something else we can do here, somewhere else we can go." She was growing weary from having to face one trauma after another, and knew the toll it was taking on the others, particularly Trixie, but they had to keep moving.
Thanks guys, I had some quiet time to myself washing dishes and listening to music, I think I'm doing a bit better. Still feels like my mind/heart is racing though, it's really uncomfortable. :/

I'm actually writing right now Fox, do you mind if I finish before you post?
I'm kind of overwhelmed right now by a few things, I'll probably get my post up later. I don't know what it is, but some of what I'm feeling right now is similar to when I've had panic attacks, it's sort of freaking me out because it came really suddenly today. :(

Also, VIXX's new music video is out. It's not my favorite song/video of theirs because the high/long notes are completely unrealistic and autotuned and I seriously doubt they can perform it live without lip-syncing, and like I said before, the concept of it has been done to death already. But I still hope I get their album for my birthday? The lyrics are also strangely fitting for this chapter, too.

Heya Pach.

Just to make it clear, I've still decided to opt out of it. Idea discussions keep fizzling, but more than that, it's just not a job that I want, even temporarily. D; Too much work and stress involved, and I'd rather see what everyone else has planned.

And also, if anyone needs pictures for NPC cast shots, feel free to ask me, I have a pretty big image folder that keeps on growing.
I understand and it's alright, but I'd personally appreciate a warning next time, something along the lines of "We're moving on next time ____ posts, so wrap up what you're doing." :s
Generally I don't particularly like my posts being rendered completely pointless, but ohshit @ Fox's post. O_O
Oh yeah, they totally freak me out, especially their ⊙_⊙ eyes! But the baby mantis is so little *w* I'm growing tomatoes, so I'll leave them be if they eat stuff that eats my plants =A=

Bad funks are no fun, hope it goes away asap!

The Tower 2F: Mirror Hall

The ground gave way beneath them, and the next the she knew, she was sprawled on her side, lying uncomfortably on top of a large piece of rubble. A spiking pain shot through her body, and she squirmed off to the floor. There were shards of broken glass around her, sprinkled about like a fine powder.

Aria's voice was the first thing she heard when the crinkling sounds of breaking glass stopped. "Selan! Are you alright? Can you stand?" she asked, leaning over her.

"Ugh..." Selan groaned, rubbing her back. The bruises would come later, but she was otherwise fine. "I'm alright," she strained, getting to her feet.

She wasn't sure where she was until she saw the green haze above them, slowly descending down on top of them. The rest of the group she was with was getting to their feet and collecting themselves, but it seems they fell into an equally bad situation.

Lisette's eyes searched along the rubble, first spotting Trixie and then looking for the rest of her friends, but was snapped back to attention by a tap on her shoulder. She began backing away from the dark, shadowy version of herself.

"What's wrong?" Lisette's doppleganger taunted, grinning from ear to ear. "Betcha weren't expecting that! But how about this?"

Shadow Lisette held out her hand, and more black ooze seemed to materialize from her skin, growing and growing to form the shape of a long, thin sword. The designs deeply etched into the grip resembled that of her bow.

"Hey, that's not right!" Lisette protested, reaching behind her for her bow. "You're supposed to have a-- Eeek!" She was forced to step back when Shadow Lisette lunged at her. Her copy was remarkably light on her feet despite using a weapon the real Lisette had no skill with, making her movements completely unpredictable.

"Eeheehee!" Shadow Lisette giggled, twirling the sword in her hand. She lunged yet again.
