I'm catching up and working on a post now. I meant to sooner but I accidentally took a nap. :/
I get the feeling that what I said already came out wrong and was taken the wrong way, so I'm just dropping it. I'll get a post up later tonight. Edit: I'm frustrated atm, I can't guarantee a post tonight but I'll try. If not then I'll get one up tomorrow, I apologize since Pach did ask for more consistent posting, but I can't remember the last time I missed one, so.
I'm not putting anything on you (or Dylan) specifically, don't worry about it. Like you said, Dylan wasn't around Selan for much of the chapter, and they also haven't interacted personally enough for him to really notice that she's acting out of character, IMO. I'm going to have to agree to disagree on the last part though, but fair enough. I'm just throwing it out there in the event that it would have been ignored otherwise, which was the point I was trying to make.
I'm in Rex's boat about being afraid to say something that might be misconstrued, but I'm just gonna say that for me personally, I don't think I was doing that to Pach, or anyone else.

Tae saying stupid shit nevermind okay
I'm in mostly agreement with you Pach, but I also agree with Danni a fair bit too. I would say that I've done a lot of "movement" this chapter (Selan and Lisette being among the first to finish with their hotel rooms, Selan directly initiating the volleyball game, finding Trixie and taking her away from the machine, etc. etc.) But there have been a lot of times when I felt kind of "whatever" about posting because a few of my attempts at interacting with others have been moot, so I'll admit I've kept Lisette more stationary than not. And of course, it's been a difficult/busy semester for me, I had my own little drama meltdown and everything. ._.

Basically, it's impossible to know what to do in some cases, like with Josette appearing (I had Lisette follow Don and Dylan before that but nothing came of it at all), the card game Marcus was participating in (I actually wanted Kapi to help Marcus cheat but it's a good thing I didn't go ahead and do that), Rex saying "Don't do anything with this character, I have plans for him" and Buns coming to me saying "Hey, can you have Lisette not do anything until this scene's done". I'm totally not pointing fingers btw, just saying that there have been multiple instances during this chapter where it feels like we couldn't take the reins because something pre-planned was about to happen. I don't really think it's justified at this point in time to say "Come on guys, sky's the limit, do whatever you want!" like we were supposed to know that when just days ago I was specifically told not to do anything, you know? And the same goes for everyone else, it's not clear what we were/weren't allowed to do.

I think more communication about it in the IC would have been nice, you've done that in the past. Just a quick "Okay, everyone's free to interact how they want right now", something like that.

Edit: Also about IC stuff, just wanted to say that having a means of getting Don to cut out his superhero act and focus on the baby would be nice, because I already thought it'd be a funny idea to explore (him and Selan taking care of a baby). And that'd leave them more free to figure out what had happened the night before, and at this point I can't really reiterate Selan being annoyed about it without becoming repetitive. And I'd be a very happy camper if someone wanted to involve Lisette in their investigation, because I've been sort of bothered by how invisible-ish she's kinda been despite my attempts this chapter. But if the majority wants to cut out the "investigative phase" entirely I guess I'd be alright with that, we could just reconvene and summarize all of the absurd things that happened (but that's not quite as fun, is it?).
Wha, really? :| I mean I'm not gonna argue, but that break would have been so much more welcome during my Monday-Wednesday school days instead of the entire weekend, lolol. But yeah, it does seem like this is a particularly busy time for everyone. Hope you're all doing okay!

Los Paraisos: Pelagio Hotel: First floor

Selan supposed running into Thunderhawk, Aria, Xandra, and Marcus could be considered "the bright side", but unfortunately, they were just as disheveled as they were, among other things.

"Hey, did you guys maybe have sex too?" Dylan blurted out.

"Excuse me, 'too'?" Selan said defensively. "No one..."

*Flash!*

Who knew a single camera flash could be such a foreboding sign?

First one camera, then another, then a steady hum of voices. And it all exploded at once as the paparazzi spilled into the hallway, pushing past each other with their arms and microphones extended as far as they could reach.

Unsurprisingly, Thunderhawk was the first one to bolt, with Don following after and overtaking him.

Moira read her mind almost instantly; Selan couldn't, wouldn't, run after the others that quickly while holding a baby. It was dangerous, and it was preposterous that this mob of vultures were forcing them into a precarious situation like this.

"Keep going! We'll be right behind you!"

"Go, go!" Lisette called to Selan, starting to jog.

Selan clicked her tongue, not seeing any other choice. If Moira and Syed stayed behind, it would buy them some time. "I'm sorry about all of this! Be careful!" she said, turning to leave. It wasn't a great feeling at all to feel responsible and guilty for something but have no idea what you even did...

Lisette, being one of the more athletic members of the Pride, was more than capable of catching up to the front of the group, but she opted to stay more in the middle just in case Moira and Syed weren't able to stop the crowd. It wasn't the nicest scenario, but she figured if necessary she could take the baby from Selan and get away. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that; she had no idea how to hold a baby, and she didn't think he could latch onto her shoulder like Kapi would.

Selan was hindered by her poor choice in shoes, which she bitterly chalked up to a naive hope that settling the issues with the hotel room and the baby would have been an easy fix. But it was too late to change any of that now, so she and Amy lagged at the back of the Pride, trying their best to keep the rest of the Pride in sight in hopes of finding an exit or a room to duck into. The baby seemed to sense the urgency, and started wailing.
Oooh, awesome Buns! I can't wait until FFXIV is out of its beta phase on the PS4, I'm looking forward to playing it again! They seriously need to fix some stuff by then though, the dialogue text is ridiculously tiny and unreadable, and overall the HUD and stuff just doesn't look compatible with large HDTVs. :/ I want a Bard though ;A;

Blargh, I got my test back from my other accounting class and I bombed it ;~; I get a chance to fix it by next week, but even then I don't think I can raise my score to higher than a C or a low B, ouch.

Haven't caught up on the IC yet so I can't comment on anything, but I'm starting a post now!
Post is up!

Thanks Pach! And that grade was for my accounting class, not math :p (although I do expect an A on my math test today, hahah) Apparently my teacher thought the phrasing on a few of the questions was confusing enough to warrant throwing out some of those questions entirely, and he gave out bonus points if we answered them correctly anyway. And I did, so those bonus points added up enough to get me an A and a point of extra credit. :> I was so shocked when I saw the circled A, I was certain after missing my first class that The Powers That Be were setting me up for something, but nah, it worked out :p

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Elevator

Selan's eyes automatically squeezed shut as the blinding flashing of cameras assaulted her and her companions. The instant it started, she almost took it for flashes of lightning, which caused her breath to catch in her throat. But the repeated shouts of her name and Crimson Justice's brought her back to Ddaear fast enough that she was able to cover the poor baby's bewildered face to shield him from the lights.

How do they all know our names...? Selan shuffled through her vague memories of the previous night, but was unable to come up with anything that would accompany the questions about a "performance", or a "proposal", or an "affair". She couldn't decide what to be more shocked about, the fact that she and Don had apparently become celebrities overnight, or the fact that she could evidently still put on a good enough show despite all evidence pointing to her being drunk out of her mind at the time it occurred. The latter was oddly pleasing, but she would have preferred to have been sober when she gained her sudden notoriety. The proposal clearly wasn't taking high priority for the songstress; after all, he had already done so upon their first meeting weeks ago. At least Crimson Justice wasn't looking for an answer...

As the elevator doors thankfully slid closed once again, she was relieved for the brief silence, as it allowed her to process the commotion that had just taken place. Dylan and Syed at least found the situation amusing, but Lisette looked woozy, her eyes following the invisible dots in her vision brought on by the cameras.

"Syed has a point," Selan agreed, pushing her dark, wavy hair back over her shoulder with her free hand. "I'm assuming this 'performance' took place at one of the nearby clubs. Maybe even the lounge in the hotel? That might be a good start..."

"Are we even going to be able to get through the lobby though?" Lisette asked, wondering if the crowd would follow them from floor to floor.
