Not explicitly. They were just the ones that Andion said could be overheard.
@Lucek: Seconded! They're all wonderful. It's one of the reasons that I love roleplaying. :3

@Rin: I can't wait to read it. :P

@Whisket: Great post! :D
@Bluemoon: Great post! :D

@Vita: Sounds like a plan. :P

@All: If anyone wants to interact with Avery, head to the cafeteria. If no one does, then I'll just have her go back to the dorm to meet with Lena before using some gm power to move things along.
@Bluemoon: That's frustrating. Things like that is why I've taken to writing my posts in a word document before hand, though I understand that probably isn't possible on an iPad.

@Whisket: I can imagine. :P
@Whisket: That's fine. I hope you can get a non-smashed phone soon. :P

@Bluemoon: Great! :D I can't wait to read it!
@Lucek: Thanks for replying. :D

@All: There. That should give some a way to create interaction.
Heaving a sigh of relief once everything was packed away into her dresser, Avery kicked the bags under the bed where they would be out of the way before heading back into the main area of the dorm. Having heard what sounded like a ball game of some sort about halfway through packing, it didn't surprise Avery to see her father sitting on the couch watching the television. Upon her entrance, he turned it off and stood. “All done, kiddo?” he asked, stretching a bit, anticipating Avery's nod. “Well, I still have time to spare, and I can't leave without meeting your roommate, so I guess you'll just have to show me around campus and hope that she shows up before we get back.”

“We could do that,” Avery responded, smiling a little. It was a beautiful campus, and she would enjoy having her father around for a little longer, even if she wouldn't readily admit it. Leading her father to the door and outside of the dormitory building itself, though making certain to lock the door behind her, Avery began the tour, pointing out the various buildings as they walked, like Cramer Hall, the science building behind the girls' dorm, and Lyle Hall, the music and arts building behind the boys' dorm. The architecture of every building was Gothic in style, with large windows and tall facades. Several other locations on campus were the gymnasium/natatorium, located near Lyle Hall, Roren Hall, the math/business building behind Cramer Hall, the admissions building in the center of campus, the cafeteria near the admissions building, and Torell Hall, the Language that was more or less between Roren and the gymnasium.

That was all only one half of the campus, however, with the two taking a break in the cafeteria to get a something to eat before continuing onto the other half, which contained the stadium and some other features. Considering that it was still early, the line for the cafeteria wasn't very long, and the two of them were through it pretty quickly, Avery getting a serving of chicken tenders with a can of cream soda and her dad getting a classic cheeseburger with a Coke.
So, should I take the silence as acceptance then? Is everyone okay with meeting up with other characters 'at random'?
Though half afraid that the prices at the inn would be beyond exorbitant, Runa followed behind her friends, seeing some wisdom in Sharphorn's reasoning. That didn't mean that she was happy about it, however. The prospect of giving up money, of any value, always made her stomach twist, an unfortunate side-effect of growing up with very little. Throgili's antics upon entering the bar also made her cringe, as they drew the eye of everyone in the room. Of course, as his companions, that attention was spread to Sharphorn and herself as well, which was really what bothered her about the whole thing. Regardless of the attention, she followed behind her friends, staring at her toes to hide the faint blush that had shown up on her cheeks.

Runa regretted her decision to set right next to Throgili almost immediately after sitting down, as he shouted for the barkeep to get him a drink and practically blew her eardrum out. Ear still ringing, she held up a hand to get the barkeeper's attention and asked for a glass of water. Turning to Sharphorn, she asked, "Do you think that any of the things we heard about on the way here would be good jobs?" Several of them had sounded interesting to Runa, but, as usual, she would defer to her friends on the final decision. They had more experience with adventuring, or at least that was the way that it seemed.
There, it's up. :D Again, sorry about the wait.
