I posted! :D Sorry it's so short, but it was rather unavoidable given the circumstances. I just hope that Hagura comes back soon. :P
Before Kacela was able to respond to her question, a guy with dark hair and blue eyes walked over to them and said hello before introducing himself as Matt. Like virtually everyone else over the age of seven, he was taller than Avery, though not quite as tall as Kacela. Surprisingly enough, the first question he asked didn't somehow involve her size or age. A little dumbfounded, though skeptical of the thought that he knew she wasn't a little kid, Avery took her hand out of her pocket, releasing her id card in the process.

“I-I'm good at art, especially p-paintings and drawings, and I like the outdoors,” Avery responded, her timidity around new people still present, but diminished by the confidence that resulted from being around people that she knew. “So, of course I-I signed up for th-those clubs. What clubs did y-you sign up for?” She was definitely surprised that she had already met two people who seemed to be rather friendly. It was... comforting in a way. At least, it was when she ignored the fact that having more friends made the chance of her getting found out more likely.
@sam: Don't worry about making the mistake. I'm not upset with it. :3 However, I will have to say that I'm not going to accept lycanthropy as a power. Not that I mind werewolves. It's just that, as Mizuho said, I tend to avoid blending the mystical/magical into a roleplay where people have powers, especially one like this where the setting is more or less realistic. There are powers that can simulate lycanthropy, such as shapeshiting or canine mimicry, but you'll have to get rid of the magical background, like Frank and curses. Again, it's not that your character is bad. It's actually pretty well-written. It's just that it doesn't fit into this roleplay is all.

@Mizuho: No worries. :D Thanks for taking some initiative there while I was asleep. I definitely appreciate your help. :3 I would have responded earlier, but I was at school, so I didn't have the time to read over everything and formulate a response.

@Hylian: Thanks for the heads up! :D
Don't worry about it too much. :P
Sorry I haven't posted yet guys. I've been rather busy over the past few days. But I will definitely try to get a post up tomorrow. :3
@Mizuho: Welcome back! :D

@All: Sorry I've been so quiet lately. I've been pretty busy with other things, and I just haven't gotten as much time here as I would like. As for posting, I will definitely get something up tomorrow if Hagura doesn't post by the time I get home from school. Again, sorry for the delay.
Don't worry about it. :D It happens.
Seeing the advantage of having someone with a projectile weapon up high enough to shoot at any enemy, Lexi nodded at Rain's request to boost her up to an alcove, squatting down a bit and gathering some air in her hands. When Rain ran towards her, she would have to step up into Lexi's hands, who would react by standing and pushing up on Rain with all her might to give her a high enough boost. The alcove wasn't too terribly high, but it was high enough that getting up there without any kind of power was improbable.

While the two of them prepared to set themselves up for an easier time taking out the boss, Geist was using his telekinesis and telepathy to further demoralize and incapacitate several of the remaining thugs. The sound of many guns exploding, which was distinctly different from the sound of gunfire, and the resultant cry of the thugs reached them, even if they couldn't see what was going on. Whatever he was actually doing, it appeared to be working, and so Lexi wasn't complaining.

“Are you ready, Rain?” Lexi asked, risking a peek around the column to see several of the thugs laying down and clutching wounded hands, if they weren't unconscious entirely. She made a mental note to ask her teammate what he had done to cause that much damage, though she had an idea that it had something to do with blocking the barrels of the firearms. “I'm ready when you are. So just start running to me.”
Well, I'm glad that everyone is enjoying it. :D I've never seen Misfits, but the feel you described is what I was going for with this, so it's nice to hear that I was successful to some degree. :P
@Hylian: Why are you perma-stuck? I think Krodin's character is expecting Paris and Lucius to ride back to campus with him. If it's because he hasn't posted, we might be able to finagle something, as it was pretty clear that all three of you were heading back to campus. Hopefully, he posts soon so that we can avoid that, but if not, then we'll come up with something. In the meantime, why don't you react to their conversation? Even if you don't actually get involved, you can still post about your character's reactions to their conversation as they walk to the vehicle. :3
