A boisterous song drifting on the wind caught the attention of Iraena, who had been sorting some of her supplies in preparation of her next excursion. Her curiosity was stoked a little when she realized that the source was a large minotaur, if only because they weren't a common sight around Cloakwood. It was really only significant to her because she too was sort of the only one of her kind in the city. To the best of her knowledge, there were no other Drow in the area. It was something that she had gotten used to over the years in exile, and it had become progressively easier to deal with as the people of Cloakwood became more receptive of her. In short, the life she had now was comfortable, and it appeared that she and the minotaur had that in common as well.

As she watched, he and his two friends, a Dwarf and a Human, walked up to the pavilion where Jorvan was, which meant that they were probably looking for acceptance from the militia to work jobs and such around the city. Figuring she had wasted enough time, Iraena turned back to her supplies, writing down quantities in a small book so that she had an accurate inventory. Still, the possibility of working together with the group wouldn't be a bad thing, and she couldn't help but think that it might actually be fun to have a group in the patrol, as she had usually gone on solo ventures. Mentally chastising herself for her fancies, she continued on writing in the ledger.
Avery nodded as Matt explained what a 'Dan' was, but before she could ask anything else, his phone went off and he wandered off, briefly apologizing for the interruption. An awkward silence seemed to reign in his absence for a few moments, being suddenly shattered by a deep rumbling coming from Marc's stomach. The suddenness of the sound caused Avery to giggle a little bit, which seemed to do a good job of easing the awkward tension in the air, as Marc almost immediately asked Avery a question after that.

“What clubs have you already signed up for? I only signed up for the Art Club and the Outdoors Club,” she replied, kind of hoping that he would enjoy one of the two clubs. It wouldn't be a bad idea for her to know someone in each either. His sudden invitation to join him for lunch after he signed up for another club did catch her off guard though. She wouldn't have thought that someone would want her to tag along with them, especially not after just meeting them.

“Uh, sure, but I'm going to need to stop at the restroom in the gym first.” She knew that it had been quite a while since she had changed last, so it was pretty certain that she would need to change again to keep from leaking. It was certainly a good thing that she had had the forethought to carry the backpack containing her changing supplies along with her.
@Mercenary Lord: Sorry I didn't respond earlier, as I was busy the past few days. But I am sad to see you go, and I too hope that you can come back after the exams. :3

@Blackwolf: I was wondering where you disappeared to. ;) Glad to see you back!
I think that I'll hold off for now. It just doesn't seem like the right time to introduce her at the moment. :3
Are we waiting on Thorgili, or do you want me to post with my sorceress first? :3
Avery had to admit that she was a little amazed at how many forms of martial arts Marc knew, even if he couldn't remember the names of all of them. She knew from her limited experience that it usually took several years to actually master a form of martial arts, so he must be some kind of prodigy at them in order to master five by college. “You must be really talented then,” Avery said, glad that he didn't seem to have a superiority complex about his skills. She had been around too many people like that before.

Before Avery could thank Marc for his offer to teach them martial arts and similar skills, Matt did, so Avery just nodded to show that she too was grateful while Matt continued to speak, explaining that he was able to defend himself, though he seemed to have a bit of trouble coming up with the right words to use for explaining why, as he hesitated a bit. Once the words came to him, however, he seemed to recover pretty quickly.

But that didn't mean that she actually understood all that he was saying. “Sorry if it's a dumb question, but what's a 'Dan' and what kind of martial art is Jiu-jitsu?” she asked, feeling a little foolish over her lack of knowledge concerning the subject. Having been made fun of most of her high school career due to her inability to comprehend math to any real degree, she was sensitive to her own lack of knowledge at times. But, at the same time, she knew that she would probably be able to answer any questions they had when it came to art, which was a small comfort to her.
I wasn't sure exactly what to write, so I hope that that is okay. If not, I can edit it. :3
Glad to have things moving along relatively smoothly, Runa paid careful attention to what the man was saying for later use. For instance, the fact that they could receive a discount on equipment sounded quite promising to her and would definitely come in handy later on. Directing them to the half-elf wearing goggles, who had now opened a large book and writing utensils with which to take down their names and a little bit of information, the man continued to explain that the information they provided could result in other jobs with the various groups in the town if they needed something that required their skills. As such, Runa and her companions made sure to provide at least an overview of what they were skilled at. They didn't go into many specifics, but they did give a general description of their abilities.
That's why I was asking what I should write. :P I wanted to make sure we were all on the same page.
Okay, I got my post up. :3 Sorry it's so short.

@Hagura: Could you use Lucek's character playing music in a more natural area of the campus to get some interaction for Kacela? I figured she could hear it and investigate or something. :3

@Hylian: Could you have Paris swing by General Scales' character so that he can be pulled from hefewy's character and directly into interaction with another character? I would use an NPC, but there would still be the problem of getting his character with another player character. :P

@All: I'll try and "clean house" tomorrow, which means removing characters that have been inactive for too long and whatnot. Also, if I can, I'll try and finalize a list of when clubs will be held so that everyone can figure that out. I'll probably end up doing the same thing for classes later, so it would be nice to get some practice. :3 As for the game in general, how is everyone liking it so far? :D
