I will have my profile up tomorrow night. I have an AP exam tomorrow and need to make sure I get enough sleep. :3 Sorry!
I am interested, but getting a cs up will take me a while. :P
I went ahead and moved us past the dinner. :3
I believe that she is referring to Dragon Slayers and their magic.

But yeah, I'm interested too! :D Also, I third the no-canon characters idea.
((I guess I'll go ahead and do the skip-ahead. :P))

After spending a little more time practicing their skills on the dummies and receiving a few tips from more experienced soldiers, dinner soon rolled around, prompting a halt on all training activity for the day as the people gathered for meal together. The food itself as delicious, consisting of fish, greens, and some fruit, which defied the common belief that all military meals were rather inedible. The atmosphere of the dinner was altogether jovial, as the people who had volunteered to support their home enjoyed their fellowship with one another, heartily telling jokes and sharing details about their lives with their comrades. It was... pleasant, to say the least. In the big city where Runa had grown up, there wasn't anything like that at all. Your friends were just as liable to stab you in the back as a complete stranger.

Before too long, the wonderful meal was finished, but that didn't mean that the people dispersed as Runa had expected. Rather, they stuck around, mingling with one another and carrying on their fellowship. It was interesting that they seemed reluctant to break off from one another, jumping into the next topic of conversation almost immediately after finishing the previous one. But, neither Runa, Sharphorn, or Thorgili had very many ties to the community, so they weren't as involved as the others were. Not to mention the fact that they were supposed to meet with Jorvan to see what patrol he would stick them with. "Hey, Sharphorn," Runa said, tugging on her friends sleeve. "Do you think that we should go see Jorvan now?"
No, I think that it's just that time of year. Finals and exams take a lot of time away from roleplaying. :3
Despite feeling that Sharphorn may have been a bit too enthusiastic about everything, which was a little overwhelming for her personally, Runa nodded along and followed him over to the ranged targets, releasing her bow from her back and pulling an arrow from her quiver. Standing at the maximum distance of sixty feet from the target that her bow would be able to reach accurately, Runa knocked her first arrow and pulled back, focusing on the target and willing her body to settle. Once the natural movement of the body was minimized and the bow was on target, she let loose, the arrow flying to strike the target a little above the heart. The second arrow she shot flew truer than the first and lodged itself in the top part of the heart. The third, and final, arrow that she shot landed next to the second. "How was that, Sharphorn?" she asked, returning her bow to its place on her back.
@Lucek: That's fine. :D I was a bit surprised to see so many new posts after such a long silence though. :P

I'm also thinking about refreshing the Interest Check to see if we can get more people to join. What do you guys think about that?
Go ahead and post. :D
I went ahead and added a section in the skeleton for the degree your character is going to the university for and what clubs they will be joining. If you could all go through and add that so that I can get that organized (I have a time table set up for clubs already), that would be great! :D
