"Really? That' great!" Stephanie answered. "Didn't think it was going to be too hard, but this is... just, wow, thank you so much." Stephanie said in relief, as she lifted her menu in more casual way. "So you've been here before? I was just thinking if there's anything special I should try." Stephanie commented. "I guess I should eat... man, hadn't anything for the entire day, barely a glass of water".
Stephanie nodded as thanks to the waitress, taking a short look at the menu before Liz would sit down. "Thanks for coming in with such short notice... I hope you weren't in middle of a surgery." Stephanie said, smiling to her little joke... or just smiling in general. Taking a quick glance at nearby tables of the crowded cafe, she hoped there wasn't too many curious ears around. "So, about those 'contacts', you said you know quite a lot of people." Stephanie started, turning the page on the menu, but not looking at it yet. "You wouldn't have anyone who could possibly find out what was cause of my wound earlier the day?" she then asked. "It happened during last night, but let's say my head gets bit distracted during nighttime, so I'm not remembering anything about it".
While walking to the table, Stephanie cleared her throat, though waiting for the waitress to finish her line before speaking herself. "Yes, I was actually in for a meeting. If you have seen a woman, roughly this tall, blonde, blue eyes called Liz?" Stephanie asked politely, trying to adjust her arm on the height she thought Liz had roughly been. Feeling a slight shadow coming from the windows, Stephanie took a quick look to see it was just a few clouds setting in... it was still more than bright enough for her to keep her human composure, though the lack of sunlight had always made Stephanie nervous. It was a lifelong paranoia.
Krait turned to look at Hikari as she heard her name out loud. "...I hope for your sake Oracle ain't pairing us up for sparring or you might get some weight under your name, Runner." Krait answered, not thinking anything clever to come back with in time. She didn't stay put however, being so excited to test her new gear that she just went for the door and tried to open it to get into the training room few times... the door was locked. Typical.

Krait just grunted once, turning around to look at the others again, crossing her arms as she tapped her other finger to her arm nervously. Oracle was putting quite lot of weight on the thoughts of this whole 'delta squad' idea being a complete farce, the no-goods of the group didn't even need to add for it.
'On my way'.

Stephanie would place the cell hpone back to her pocket, while already walking to the corner of the street in hopes for calling a cab for herself. It didn't take long to find a ride, though the afternoon rush was something Stephanie didn't like, tapping her fingers nervously on the seat of the car, looking outside for the street signs, hoping they were on the right turn already.

Paying the cab, Stephanie got outside to find herself in front of what looked like, while not exactly a class of place she would be going on regular basis, it did have that homely look, like safezone out from the busy and noisy streets. Stephanie was glad she managed to grab the fast things to wear when she had left her apartment and not her usuals, or otherwise her dress would be completely out of place. Stepping inside, Stephanie was already looking around to see in case Liz was on any of the tables. Of course she was also looking something to buy for herself so she wouldn't just go and sit there while not being a customer.
The interrogation hasn't gone off entirely clean. Of course Stephanie had to make more than one excuse about all this. Late night at club, having a nosebleed at the morning. There wasn't any sign of any form of struggling in her body, nor any kind of wounds, so someone seeing 'her being captured' must have been someone else, just looking very similar. However, Stephanie was told to stay within the city limits until told otherwise and be cautious in case these men were actually after her.

As Stephanie got outside, she grabbed her cell phone for two things: First she would text a code message of asking hows the next weekend for a specific bouncer, working for a nightclub she liked to go. Of course she hadn't been there during that night but she had her regular payment for the bouncer to cover her story. After that, she would use the internet to track down the service phone number for the clinic she had just been. Liz had said something very specific about 'looking for the right places' to Stephanie before they had departed. Right now, Stephanie was in dire need for finding right people to get on track about this mystery of kidnappers and therefore after finding the customer cell phone number for the clinic, Stephanie texted to it in hope that Liz would actually carry it around if she was not at the clinic:

'Can we meet? I would like to talk, It's important. Stephanie Norman'.
"Weaknesses huh? I suppose some for more than others." Krait said, as she came around the corner, hearing few last sentences John had said. She was looking exactly the same as before with the same outfit and the same sword sheathed on her back. Of course the new gear under the outfit wasn't visible and it was supposed to be that way. Small, invisible, element of surprise.

"I thought I would be a little late, but it seems 'Oracle' Isn't much for actual backbone to keep on it's own orders so seems like there's one weakness as well." Krait said, her tone having another level of confidence from her new support. She then rolled her finger at John. "But please, do continue, don't let me be in the way." she said, like she wouldn't even have anything to add to conversation about weaknesses.
Goblin has stated before that he Isn't looking more people to this, at least no right now so sorry for the bad news. You could of course, as always, ask from him directly, but he hasn't been around all that much lately.

And yeah, going to check'n post now.
And accepted. I suppose the term 'slowly but surely' should be quite fitting here :P
Just decided to go on my own way in IC for a moment, since after going to work today, I'm going at friends place, which means I won't be posting today, and maybe not tomorrow either. Sorry for coming up with such short notice, but I'll get back to this asap.
