Just curious, is Jedly's character looking at a pure maiden's undergarments?

Sorry if my post was a little poor, you can probably tell that I'm half asleep while writing it. Wanted to get something up, though, since it's better than being left behind.

Oh right, and is Red's char actually wearing glasses? That seems like it might be confusing.

This cold feeling... it was not the first time the young girl had felt like this. Darkness. Separation. Anxiety. Still not completely conscious, she drifted lazily through a cloud of passing emotions, imagining what unknowable scenario she had gotten herself into, all the while trying to distract herself from the growing feeling of dread in her stomach.

As far as she knew she should have been lying on the ground behind Grandma's hut, collapsed beneath a basket of herbs. Grandma Cecil, hearing the commotion, would have hobbled out from her living room to see what was going on. That old lady would help her up, even with her sore back, but she would certainly give her a harsh scolding afterwards.

Annabel smiles.

Then, she feels somebody shaking her shoulder. She opens her eyes slowly, knowing instinctively that it wouldn't be the familiar scene she was yearning for, letting the queer red light filter in past her eyelids.

A boy stood over her, his fingers pressed warmly against the vein on her neck. In the corner of her mind, she acknowledges that the boy must be checking her pulse. Was she dead? No, probably unconscious. That fall must have done a number on her, for her vision to be this hazy.

"Who are you?", asks the voice of a dreamy young girl.

Annabel lets out the first thing that comes to her mind upon seeing the boys face. She knew everybody in the village, and yet she had never seen a face like that before.

Still, somehow, she felt a connection to this person whom she had never seen in her life. She didn't know what it was at first, but after a few moments of staring, she figured it out. It was that expression. In those eyes, she could see the very same sense of confusion that had been radiating through her entire body since she had blacked out.

Her eyes were adjusted now, and she could see the object hanging above the boy's head. A lantern, flickering queerly with red light, one final sign to show that she had left the world she loved.

Annabel sighs, and begins to sit up from the cold, metal platform. What is it that Grandma Cecil would say at a time like this? If you have time to sit and gawk, you should get moving.
Mm, with the guild being down for a bit and a holiday coming by, it's not unusual for things to be a bit slow for now.

Annabel

Age: 15
Occupation: Herbalist's Assistant
Personality: Annabel is a responsible, careful girl who has often been described as having a "healthy balance of kindness and self-interest". Her drive to survive is stronger than most, since she's been strictly taught the value of life ever since she was young. Still, she will rarely turn down an opportunity to help another, especially where it involves little risk to herself. She's focused, calm and reliable, traits that have made her an invaluable aide to her village's only herbalist.

History: The only family young Annabel has ever known is the elderly woman who raised her, known only as Grandma Cecil. She spent most of her youngest years running to and fro, helping the villagers of Mayford with any sort of errands they needed, occasionally being rewarded with bread or coin where appropriate. Even though she was an orphan, and one without much wealth at that, she still enjoyed her village life greatly.

During the days, she did errands and learned the workings of the village, even occasionally accompanying Grandma Cecil into the nearby woods and meadows to gather herbs. When the evenings came, Grandma taught her letters, the differences between herbs, how to bandage cuts, and all sorts of other things that would make her a great little helper in due time.

Her time came when she reached late into her eleventh year, when Grandma Cecil became ill with some sort of flu. Young Annabel kept by Cecil's side day and night, treating her in the ways she had been taught and doing the best she could to help her stay in a stable condition. Grandma recovered quickly for her old years, perhaps because of the child's diligent care.

After that, Annabel became much more involved with Cecil's work as a herbalist, to the point of essentially becoming her assistant. Despite the increased responsibility, Annabel was delighted to be finally be allowed to help, and lived through the following years as happily as she ever could...
Oh, guild's back up. I'll get crackin' sometime soon~!
Jack the Ripper - Jill Clark

Role: Villain
Powers:
The Power that Sees Through All - Hyper-intuition
Characterized by eyes that betray no emotion or intent, Jack's enhanced Intuition allows them to make advanced observations instantaneously and without any prior knowledge. At a glance, they can tell what sort of person somebody is and see through seemingly perfect disguises effortlessly. In battle, this ability is used to track subtle muscle movements and discover the mechanics and weaknesses of Hero's abilities. While Jack claims that it is the perfect ability, which cannot be defeated, it does in fact have a few unknown limitations.

Killer's Instincts
An extension of Jack's Hyper-intuition which focuses on finding and using the absolute most effective method of killing in any given situation. As a side-effect, Jack can control their Killing Intent in ways to either prevent enemies from sensing an imminent attack, or induce enough fear to completely paralyze weak-willed prey.

The Ultimate Diguise - Identity Manipulation
The ability that is used so that Jack can move freely through the city and attack their victims without the risk of being caught. Sometimes called the "Perfect Assassination Power", because of its ability to disguise the user as anybody, or even create new identities entirely on the fly. Also allows them to change the identities of inanimate objects or tinker with the identities of others, although such targets take significantly more time and effort than targeting themselves.

Obfuscation
A sub-ability related to Identity Manipulation, which allows Jack to Obfuscate their own or others identities. This makes them impossible to identify, and able to slip away from crime scenes without the risk of being seen or remembered. Because they are in a state of concealed identity, the target is essentially invisible, but in a way different than conventional invisibility. While it's impossible to identify them with any of the five senses, it is possible to "see" Obfuscated targets, if you know what you're looking for and purposefully look for it. Even then, however, losing the target for even a second can allow them to slip back into invisibility.

Talents: Using their Hyper-intuition, Jack has developed what they call the "Perfect Killing Technique", which revolves around the use of conventional weapons to strike the opponent's weak points and break down their defences. Experience killing all sorts of people has culminated into superhuman coordination and agility, to the point of being able to kill targets before they even have a chance to defend.

Jack is also an expert in information manipulation, hacking and social interaction.

Personality: Jack is a monster, a wild beast that seems to care for nothing besides battle and the thrill of the hunt. Sadist and treacherous, it seems to the naked eye that their cruelty knows no bounds. However, there are several quirks to Jack's personality that show a glimpse of the person they once were. They gush over advanced technology and unique fighting techniques, and are a huge fan of the Mystery genre, spending most of their free time during the day reading one novel or another.

While they're vicious, Jack is hardly a hateful creature, and doesn't tend to hold a grudge longer than a few moments. They have a competitive spirit, and don't like to be one-upped by anyone. Despite their reclusive nature, Jack is quite a flashy individual, evident from the way they tend to exaggerate their mannerisms and make murder scenes as interesting as possible.

Jack will always take the most enjoyable option possible, even if it means helping others or risking failure. They do, however, have a rather strong instinct of self preservation, and will always retreat if they feel like their life is at risk.

Background: Jack's past is like the mist, hard to look into and extremely inconsistent. Shifting between different identities, they listlessly traversed the darkest parts of the world, searching idly for something to direct their passion towards. They adored mystery novels, and during a particularly fateful series of events, began devoting their life to the secret art of killing. Because it was somewhat of a hobby, rather than an occupation, they've never been in much contact with Assassination Organizations or villainous allegiances. There's a great deal of mystery surrounding Jack's origins, but their travels have led them to this city, where they were met with the most wonderful batch of news.

How they took the death: "Finally, freedom..."
