When I think back on it, I really am not satisfied with my choice of henchmen (or the one I chose). If at all possible, I'd much rather just have something ordinary than something specifically from Alice's dream world.

I do not mind if it is a handicap, but would it be possible for me to have just a relatively ordinary minion-tier individual as my henchman?

Obviously they would be a bit more character-ish than a minion, but this would be the ideal scenario for me.
I'll be taking the White Rabbit! What a wonderful addition he'll be~!
@ Tatsua - I am trying to find a suitable picture for two of your henchmen. I have their images in my mind, now I just need the internet to provide.

As for your CS, your abilities are some of the most difficult I've encountered in terms of balance, but I am willing to give them a go. This is my first "casual" RP. Usually I would make an RP in Advanced, I am very strict. But I wanted to see what people could make and I wanted this to be more open.

I'm looking forward to it~!

Oh, and as long as your points are valid, I'm totally not against you being strict with my content either now or in the future.

... Not that Alice is all that strong. I'm just making my stance on balancing clear~
By the way, you haven't really commented on my sheet yet. Is there anything you'd like to have altered or clarified?

Also, when do I get my cool henchmen?

I-It's not like I'm being impatient for you or anything. Idiot.
@Snakes Underage Succubus is lewd. Snakes pls.

Well, this game has certainly caught my interest. I'll get to working on a sheet soon, I think, but before that there's something I would like to ask. In games like this, where everyone is a villainous mastermind with their own goals, it can become hard to have characters interact with one another. On a meta level, character interaction is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of roleplaying and everyone wants to do it. On a game level, however, we're all basically secretive, ruthless, paranoid psychopaths. The goal of the game is to get everything done without anyone figuring you out or noticing your plans, while the goal of the player is to interact with others and have fun.

So, essentially, I would like to know how you plan to facilitate and/or incentivize character interaction. Having all the players be separate and try to further their own goals with the GM may work for a little while, but soon everyone is gonna want to check up on Hannibal Gutkicker or Ms. Katonic in character and they won't be able to without metagaming like a mofo.

This is something that I was considering as well. There is some possibility for cooperation or conflict, and when resources pop up it may end up being that we compete for them in some way, but I don't really see any obvious venue for interaction between our characters.

I mean, it's not like Alice is going to just invite you all to a wonderful Tea Party, right?

... Right?

Oh, like henchmen and minions are different things? Right, I understand.

I'm not certain of this, but given the difference in terminology and conventions of the genre, I would say yes. Like, for example, a bunch of thugs might be like your storm troopers, while Darth Vader would be considered a henchman.

I'm interested to see what you mean by this. Are you saying we'll have to pick pre-made characters instead of ones of our own creation? Because the dudes I made kind of fit with my character.

I doubt this is what he means. I'm pretty sure he's saying that, like with the minions, it'll be something like choosing between a collection of archtypes. Given the game-like nature of this roleplay, you could think of them as "Classes" which the Henchmen would exist in.

This is just my assumption, anyways. We'll know for sure once the GM puts things up.
After having been accepted, Plain's CS has been relocated to the Characters tab.
Name: Plain
Age: 3
Affiliation: N/A
Background: Plain's past is is a short one. When she awoke for the first time, she was lying in bed in a small, London apartment, with no recollection of anything having existed before that. Her mind was a haze, and it took her some time to become acclimated to her body and thoughts, but eventually she managed to muster the strength to sit up.

What she found upon examining her surroundings was a rather decorated, girlish bedroom, containing several inconsequential things in addition to a single note, placed importantly on the bedside table. The note read, "Wait.", so this is what Plain did.

She waited. And waited. Until finally, one day, something changed in her monotonous, colourless little slice of the world.

Strange markings unlike anything Plain had ever seen appeared on the back of her hand. Instinctively, through the haze of her thoughts, she comprehended their nature and realized that this was the sign that she was waiting for. Excited to finally be doing something besides lying in bed, Plain lifted herself up, gathered her meagre belongings and collected a suitcase she somehow knew was hidden beneath the floorboards of her room.

And then, she set off on a journey. Not knowing what might be in store for her, or even knowing who or what she was, she headed vaguely towards Russia, simply wandering and using what subconscious knowledge she possessed to navigate the previously unexplored outside world.

Traits
Doll Body
While the truth of Plain's conception is not known, even to her, her body has very clearly been constructed with great care and skillful, meticulous hard work. She appears unassuming, but everything about her being could be said to be a masterpiece of doll-making. She is the embodiment of "Something to be loved by humans", and while she lacks combat skills, she does possess a strange sort of charm to her that draws the affection of others.

As something that functions outside of traditional human biological limitations, many methods of attack which would work on an ordinary human fail to have any effect on her. She does, however, still possess all of the conventional limitations of a physical form, and she holds no special resilience against physical trauma or sorcery.

Her ordinary Magic Circuits are of exceptionally high quality, however, they are conspicuously few in number. With some difficulty, she should be able to sustain most Servants eligible to be summoned through the Grail System, although she may have some trouble with Servants possessing powerful Noble Phantasms or those of the Berserker class.

Black Grimoire Rose Garden
The true purpose of the doll called Plain, which takes the form of a terrible, rose-shaped organ located where any ordinary human would have their heart. This organ is a cruel construct, surrounding itself with black thorns which could be called the physical manifestation of the rose's curse. These thorns will grow, incredibly slowly, acclimating themselves to the victim's body and ingraining themselves in their very soul. By the time the thorns have fully attached themselves, it is already physically impossible to remove them, as they have completely entwined themselves with the victim's internal organs to the point where any attempt to remove them will result in fatally wounding oneself.

The thorns will eventually spread to the victim's entire body, filling every inch of space within their physical form with its black, twisted branches. When the affected party eventually dies, their fading soul which has been completely bound by the rose's thorns will in turn become a part of the rose, strengthening the curse and allowing a new rose to bloom from their corpse. This is how the curse has grown to be as strong as it is today, through countless generations of careful nurturing and constant sacrifice.

The end result is this.

It is an undoubtedly lethal curse, and the most fatal part of it all has yet to even be said. The true nature of the curse, is its quality of "Growth". That is, when the rose is interfered with or perceives there to be a threat to its purpose, it sends a signal of "Growth" to the rest of the curse. This rapidly accelerates the process in which the curse expands, speeding up what would ordinarily be a task of many years to one that can conclude in less than a few months. Continued interference will, startlingly quickly, complete the curse's incredibly slow growth cycle and kill its victim before one has a chance to remove the incredibly complex and finicky curse in its entirety.

For one to acquire the curse, through a means besides possessing the rose, one must become pricked by one of the rose's thorns. Varying based on the victim's resistance, the curse will begin to manifest somewhere between a few minutes and several days after the initial contact, and destroying the original rose will result in the curse failing to properly manifest in the new victim.

Magecraft
The knowledge of Magecraft possessed by Plain is surprisingly expansive, suggesting her background to be something beyond an existence of simple companionship. While her combat prowess is non-existent, she is rather skilled in techniques for healing and Bounded Fields, and is also talented in the management of Familiars. Besides this, she simply possesses a skillset that can be dubbed "General Magecraft", covering the basics of what any Magus should know.

Others: Excellent waifu material, but not all that useful besides.
So, I feel bad that my character is similar to that of Tatsua’s, being that they’re both young women with demonic roots. I do feel that my character is diverse enough from their character to warrant both of their existence, but I do understand if you’d like me to change things.

From what I gathered of your backstory, she's a different sort of demon from your character. Most importantly, she has pretty much zero christian influence in her origins, so most of your references to Satan aren't relevant to me. Think more along the lines of Lovecraft's work.

So far so good, but you don't have to name your minions guys. I'll be giving you a choice of henchmen when I finish work

Oh, alright. I'll wait for that, then.
