The Hidden Kingdom of Fae'lanse...
Name: Fae'lanse, also known as the Hidden Kingdom or sometimes the Realm of Fairies.
Political System: Monarchy (Led by the Queen of Fairies and her wonderful Princesses.)
Location: "Aelis'ri 'n Eine", a place often referred to as being everywhere and nowhere. Existing parallel to every kingdom in the world, the hidden realm of fairies exists in all places at once, but can only truly be found when guided by their mystical inhabitants. Because of how Fae'lanse's magic works, it has been known to appear in countless absurd places in the past, one fairy once even reported guiding a human there by travelling through an empty goblet at one point. The human miraculously fit, but it truly is a testament to the strength of Fairy Magic for an entire kingdom to be hidden within such a small space.

History

Fae'lanse was founded by the Hero of Heroes, the Great Fairy Queen who was said to have battled an army of giant wizard dragons to save fairykind from the evil cat people who were intent on eating all fairies. Through her guidance and magic, the fairy people gathered and formed the kingdom in the shadow of a human one, living alongside them without the humans realizing. By using ancient magic, the fairy kingdom shifted in and out of existence on the boundaries of civilization, appearing wherever fairies needed solace to lead them to salvation.

Other: Due to how it's been concealed in the shadows of all "Mortal" kingdoms, Fae'lanse is unknown to most outside of legends and tales. It is not recognized as real by most individuals and nations, although some magic-savvy folk have come close to discovering it in the past.

Common Physical Features: Often small in stature and with pointed ears, most Fae also possess fair skin and glowing, colour-changing eyes that set them apart from ordinary mortals. All Fae possess wings of some sort, although the type of wings is often dependant on the individual.
Common Physiological Features: Fairies are among the only varieties of "Existential Beings" in this world, they don't possess a life in the conventional sense, instead they are more akin to a sentient magical phenomenon that continues to exist only because it continues to believe in its own existence. Technically, this makes them immortal, but due to various circumstances as well as a vulnerability to existential attacks, this is not actually the case.
Common Magical Features: All Fae are masters of shape-shifting, flight and invisibility. They possess a prodigal magical ability that surpasses even that of the elves, and if given enough time, most Fae would be able to master any conceivable technique, art or spell simply through watching it preformed.

If Maki doesn't die in training. If I haven't expressed enough that I am realistically portraying what her physical condition would be like under those circumstances, I'm going to come out and say that I am doing exactly that. I have no intention of killing my character off literally at the start of the roleplay, but I'm not going to let her get through this on determination alone.

Why Maki is rekt

She's severely injured with a sprained ankle, her horrible stamina and vitality combined with other factors mean that she's been on the verge of complete blackout for a while now and will almost certainly lose consciousness in the next few posts. She's suffering from her monthly anemia and she's almost completely out of chakra just from running around, in addition to the blood she's lost from her many injuries. With her weakening body and spirit the seal on her blood is waning, resulting in persistent pain permeating through every inch of her body and generally affected consciousness. Seriously, Maki, you hurt girl.

Personality: Cheerful and sly, Maribel has never been the type to let a good bit of enjoyment pass her by, and while she has a strong sense of justice, her unconventional methods often put her slightly outside of the law. Still, she's surprisingly reliable and very competitive, making her a great partner for any joint operation. She believes strongly in her own strength, her free-spirited nature makes her unsuited for standard Watch duties, but she believes she can make a difference even without a uniform.
