Even in his human form, Kahgon commanded a powerful presence. Tall and lean, with muscles that rippled under his traditional, draconian style of wear that consisted of durable hide and rough cotton, which was represented by the colors of his tribe: charcoal and gold. His hair of blackened ashes were tightly bounded in rows of braids that ran parallel to each other, before intertwining into a singular pony-tail kept together by an ornate hair-piece that flowed like black flames in the wind. His angular face pierced his surroundings with a deathly, sharp gaze as he watched the recruits bramble about during first light as they try and get ready for their daily dose of morning drills. Kahgon was standing on top of a small hill that overlooked the training yard, using his crimson eyes to scout the men below. As the mount of the Guild's Battlemaster, the responsibility of training these bratty children had also befallen on Kahgon's shoulders.

Suddenly the dragon growled, lips pursing into a displeased snarl. With a heavy stomp of his armored greaves, Kahgon gave an ungodly roar that echoed down the slopes of the hill and traversed across the lands of Eclium. Below, terrified yelps of recruits could be heard followed by the frantic barking of orders from the squad leaders. In seconds, the group of men below began to march with a more refined and disciplined stature. Kahgon smirked, folding his arms and gave a satisfied nod to himself. He stood there for a few more minutes, alone and on top of a desolate hill, a silent and angry sentinel watching over his future riders as the rising sun burned with vigor behind his back.

---------------------------------------

Soon enough, hunger forced his ever-watching eyes to divert from this morning's unfortunate batch of recruits and gave them a small moment of privacy as Kahgon headed towards the cafeteria for some breakfast. While on his way, he noticed that the Guild itself was more lively than usual - messengers here and there, and orders could be heard barking from every corner of the Guild. It was then that he remembered what today was. Another kin would be joining their ranks, and they will be subjected under the Master himself, for that matter. "Huh. Was so used to this place being as dead as my own mother, too. So much for a quiet morning." Shrugging to himself, he rounded the corner just in time to see the Lady herself: First Rider Melaniya exiting the dining hall.

Melaniya's strong, and Kahgon himself had deemed her worthy of respect. The title of First Rider should not be taken lightly and he knows just how capable she was. So as they chanced upon each other, the dragon took a moment to give her a slight nod before going his way past her, not even bothering to give a second glance back. It seemed like she was on an order from the man himself, so he knew better than to impede her by asking about her feelings or if she was enjoying this morning's weather. Besides, Kahgon doesn't just greet anyone he sees. Melaniya should know his temperament by now.

So leaving her to her duties, Kahgon bursted into the dining hall while thumping loudly at his stomach with his fist. "Freya, my Queen! I knew my nose did not deceive me. Did you save any broth for your handsome and almighty King?" Kahgon chuckled, a deep rumbling in his thick chest. He took a seat next to Avanir, his rider, and gave his old friend a pat on the back before taking a loaf of bread and ripping it in half. Taking a bite, he turned to Avanir. "Dear Rider and friend, I hope you've consumed at least five bowl-fulls before I arrived. God knows you need some thickness to your frail frame." He glanced up at the rest of the company, giving them a mocking wink.

@Crazy Doctor It's official. Rider added to my CS. We can be the mean muggin' duo and be, like, super cool as we blow shit up.

After comparing the two riders, I have to say that Kahgon would be more compatible with Avanir! @Crazy Doctor

If you accept the partnership, that's another pair established and one step closer to getting started!

Also, I think it'd be cool to establish some sort of relationship between the dragons, especially the ones who have lived long before the war with humanity. If anyone wants a particular relationship with Kahgon, let me know!

Hm, seems like two riders want my dragon. How should I settle this? :p

@tatszico Hey I'm going to leave this here so you can read it when you come back. Even if I'm asleep. So as people have started pairing up, i was hoping we can pair up. Just due to our character both being aggressive fighters. If you don't thats fine.

Will definitely keep you in mind, but like Ambra said, just to give everyone the chance to look at their options, let's wait until the very end before we start pairing up!
In Starfall 11 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
@PajkaNight Ha! Wouldn't mind that, and I'm sure the more rebellious dragons would get a kick out of that. :p

@Ambra And right, but I was just wondering what will happen if two riders want the same dragon. I think it's unfair if it's first come first serve, since not everyone can respond right away, but if that's how we're going to do it, I guess I'm fine with it!

@Crazy Doctor Nice selections!! Now I want to make a playlist for my dragon haha.

Name: Kahgon of the tribe Al-Soor

Age: Well over three centuries old ; looks like in his mid-twenties when in human form.

Gender: Male.

Personality: Indifferent and fearless, Kahgon is a dragon of pride and strength. Forged from the crucible of war, he has the might of a warrior and the mentality of a strategist. He comes off as cold and rough due to his blunt attitude and directness, which are backed by his witty and sharp tongue. Though he may seem reckless due to having no tolerance for the things that annoy and anger him, that is not the case. He's logical and knows better than to jump into the fray unprepared and unarmed. He is also quite cynical, considering the tension that is prevalent between the newfound relationship between dragon and rider. However, he acknowledges those he deem strong and in fact, there is a sort of mutual understanding in the current partnership with his rider. Only a human as fearless and capable as he have a chance to survive a flight with the dragons.

Short Biography: As a drakeling, Kahgon was quite fierce even for a creature that rivaled the forces of nature. Rebellious and arrogant, he had picked fights with many dragons that were not of his tribe, sparking many rivalries that resulted in the rise of his name, infamous as it was. Though his peers thought of him as nothing more than a bully, and his elders, a spoiled drakeling, they cannot deny the fact that he was quite the prodigy when it came to combat. He was, after all, the heir to the Al-Soor tribe, one of the greatest origin of draconian warriors. And so as his rebellious streak flared up into nothing more than forgotten embers, Kaghon then dedicated his youth to the calling of a warrior. Years turned into decades as Kahgon endured the chaos of war. His infamous name was now a beacon of respect and victory as he led his tribe to glory. He was regarded highly by his kin, but was kept humble by the memories of his fallen comrade-in-arms. War has aged his mind, but his talons and fangs were kept sharp by the experiences. In short, he became a grand general that relished the thrill of a worthy battle.

Then came the day that finally brought him to his knees. No one knew that humanity was capable of such a feat. Kahgon himself had underestimated them as well, and the result of it was that his race is now enslaved. It was a shameful defeat, but he knew they deserved it for his kind's arrogance. Still, he cannot help but spit on the unholy pile of rocks they call celelyrium. Without it, he knew that the war would have ended long ago.

Truthfully though, he admired the cunning strengths and unyielding dedication of humanity. Because, after all, all's fair in love and war.

Abilities:

  • Flash Fire: In addition to breathing fire, Kahgon also have the ability to super condense heat into his torso, directing the compacted energy to his underbelly which are naturally plated. But between his armored core, there are multiple grooves that allow him to expel the highly-saturated flames, which then results in a giant, powerful blast of inferno that is capable of turning rocks and metal into molten liquid. Limited to close and mid range, as well as having only a few 'charges' until he becomes too exhausted and strained.
  • Blade of Scales: A set of aerial maneuvers that utilizes Kahgon's unnaturally sharp and metal-like scales to cut and pierce. Very effective in combat against other dragons, as well as taking down towers and battlements with relative ease.
  • War is my Domain: Kahgon's fighting prowess has been greatly enhanced due to his many battles and experiences, allowing him to master the Earth like how dragons have mastered the Heavens. When on the ground, he is a force to be reckoned with, as he can wreak havoc with terrible ferocity, agility, and grace even without the use of his wings.

Rider: Avanir Darkwind (Crazy Doctor)

Other: Theme.
