I loved the way the Assassin's creed music corresponded with your post!
Hey guys, is there a way to change your forum name? My current one is (as it has been pointed out to me on several occasions) long and confusing.

EDIT: Finished!
Hey, are you still accepting? If you are, I'd like to reserve a spot and I'll get a CS up later today.

EDIT: Just noticed that at the top of the OOC it says Still accepting :P
Sorry for the short post, it's sort of a continuation of the previous one :)
On the way to Jacob's gun store to meet up with Blake, Jason remembered that Jacob said that his handgun was ready. So when he arrived at the store the first thing he did was look for his Jericho. He found it sitting on a table. He picked it up and looked it over. It was very clean and seemed to be in perfect condition. Jacob was a really good gunsmith. He put the gun in his holster and walked up the stairs. As he thought, the big balcony doors were wide open, and there was Blake sitting on a chair, thinking. The air was cool, and the darkness was a bit daunting.
"Hey Blake, how are things going?" greeted Jason. He stood next to the chair and continued, "So I just wanted to know what are your plans for the journey to Canada that everyone is talking about. I guess you'll wanna take your RV, but Karen has some good points about taking the horses. What do you think?"
Jason listened to Karen's speech carefully. He agreed with her on most points, although he still wasn't sure if it would really be best to make the journey on horseback. It would take longer, and also most people didn't really know how to ride with proper equipment, let alone bareback. His thoughts were cut short by a woman who walked in and put some small bottled pills on the table. He noticed that most of the stuff she brought wasn't the important stuff they were looking for, but it was nice to have some painkillers.
Jason decided that the room was getting too stuffy, and anyway he wanted to go visit Blake to see what are his plans, so he turned to everyone, notified them that he was leaving, and if anyone needed medical attention they could find him with Blake. He exited the hospital and set off to the store with the balcony where he knew Blake liked hanging out. Blake said it helped him think or some bullshit like that. Whatever.
"Earl, that is. And you are Jason and Karen? Seems like we have quite the discussion on our hands. What's the plan as it currently stands?"

Karen explained some stuff, But Jason noticed she avoided his questions.

"Remind me again, why not just grab a couple vehicles and just plow our way along the roads?" Earl asked.

Earl. I'll try to remember that. Though Jason to himself.

"Horses are better than vehicles in this situation, because vehicles have to drive on the road and through cities. Those cities are full of walkers and bandits." Jason turned to Karen and started saying something, but noticed that she was lost in thought.

"Hey, Karen. Karen?" Earl wakes her from her daze.

"So I was saying," Jason continued, "Karen, you didn't answer my questions. What will be the people who stay? They won't survive here with most of us leaving. And wouldn't it be better to split up? That way-"

Jason was interrupted as the door was opened and a man walked in. It was Jacob the gunsmith.

Jason greeted Jacob, "Hi Jacob. You got my Jericho ready yet?" then turned back to Karen, finishing his question, "That way if one group gets caught, the others still have a chance of making it."

Well we submitted our apps around the same time and I thought the GM was still active, it wasn't really my place. Also he's a medic so he's more focused on medicine and support than fighting, sneaking and general zombie apocalypse skills.

Good point.

In my opinion it's not really much of a trade off I mean if you were to list his skills it'd probably be something like:Excellent stealth abilitiesProficiency in both CQC and firearnsGreat perception with his eyes to make up for the lack of perfect hearingLeadership and team workFitness and strengthTo me at least that's not really equal to loss of hearing in just one ear. It's all about keeping a balanced game where all the characters have strengths and weaknesses, I just think having an ex forces guy who is still physically fit and relatively young with the only limitation being dodgy hearing and a guilty conscience is kind of OP compared to other characters.

Well... My character is an ex forces guy who is still physically fit and relatively young...
