Okami took him in and Okami and his pack raised him, only accepting the boy as their Beta. Though he may be quiet, Akio is loyal and will do anything and everything to protect his pack and teammates. Because wolves hunt best in the snow, Akio knows a list of Jutsu with snow and ice. Like Kiba, Akio can understand what Okami and their pack are saying.
