Bio

Yes my name is shit, please don't refer to me by it. Just call me Alpha.

I'm mail and my thing is science fiction. If it involves space travel, I've probably looked into it, since that's my big shebang although I am rather fond of cyberpunk and near-future as well. I'm also big on Atompunk, which is essentially taking the nuclear-obsession and Cold War hysteria of the United States from about 1946-1968. Best example of that is the Fallout games (Which, yes, is one of my favorite series of video games).

I'll do other kinds of roleplay but I really like Nation Roleplay, and typically the sci-fi ones since it's fun making new races, tech, etc. As a result I do like me certain empire-building RTS's and 4X games, like Civilization, Rise of Nations, O.R.B., (And maybe Sins of a Solar Empire if I had a better computer ;-;).

Feel free to enjoy what I've written, I don't have much since I do this rather casually.

Oh whoops (/._.)/
I thought a few of these were ships that were across from each other. I guess I was confused by it.

I was trying to make a point that Sylve was still a problem in Equestrian space.
Equestrian Space (Sylve)

"Sir, we've detected a convergence point of the Triarian Collective, Abh and the Equestrians, a cosmopolitan meal for loot." An officer aboard the "recovered" Samani-Class Corvette Inton reported to the Shipmaster. The Sazkarjhit pirate looked through the viewscreen to see the ships standing off from one another. "How close are we to the action?" He asked.

"They're about 20,000 kilometers away; just in range to fire."

"Hm...All right. Swoop in and deploy a volley of EMP Mines, once they're out activate the Electromagnetic Dispersal Cloak and prepare the HyperJump Engine for warp."

"Aye, sir."

Inton lowered its cloak power and increase engine output; a risky maneuver that goes from being slight light distortion to a barely-translucent shape of the black stealth ship. The underside bay eased open as it maneuvered above the ships and released five blue-and-silver spheres.

Within seconds the spheres flared brilliantly, sending out pulses of EMP energy in all directions, hitting the ships in several waves.
Response to Equestria

I, too, should apologize for the actions of my men. That fleet came from a Hub situated in a warzone between two smaller spacefaring nations. They were itching to fight, but to prevent Sazkarjhia's involvement in the war only provided humanitarian aid. The second they had an opportunity to respond to hostility they took it. Sazkarjhia Diplomatic Code states that any kind of vessel that intercepts a Sazkarjhit warfleet should be registered as a threat.

What Code doesn't state is attempting to halt or disable interceptors. Had they followed this code, they would have peacefully waited to be hailed before responding. If your men attacked first, then Sazkarjhia would return fire. I would reprimand those sailors for their actions, but both ships have been completely obliterated, and there was no report of either ship's Fleetmaster escaping the carnage.

We'll speak about Sylve soon. For now, I want to recall these two fleets for debriefing.

Message to Equestrian Authority

Your actions have not been taken lightly, your refusal to allow Sazkarjhit ships through on a peacekeeping mission and the heavy losses they suffered as a result have significantly damaged relations between your people and our own. I wish to speak with whichever leader is control of the New Equestrian Empire. I will be organizing an assembly in the Karboria Capitol District here on Sazkar Major to discuss the matter more reasonably: as one leader ensuring the welfare of their people to another, not as one group of warships facing off from another.

You will have the utmost secure escort here to Sazkar, and receive treatment that you should as a figure of political power. If you agree to it, we can begin the meeting as soon as possible.

Most are aware that Sazkarjhia is not as technologically advanced as other empires, and because of this the last thing we want is war to break out. If we speak, I'm sure this hostility will abate as swiftly as it came.

Equestrian Space

The ships were ordered to make an emergency slipspace jump. Many of the ships' rather idle engines flared brilliantly as the vessels entered Wartime Emergency Reactor Output. Translight HyperJump Engines fired small beams that ripped holes into space-time, creating large portals into slipspace that the ships went through. Many ships deployed heavy payloads of mines and other countermeasures to keep themselves from being followed. The once empty void of the space around them was pockmarked with debris and satellite-sized mines.

Triarian Space

"You have the graciousness of the Gods for allowing us through. While we investigate, we also ask if you are able to procure any Sylve personnel or manifest as it will make this operation smoother, quicker and safer."

Wait how many ships do you have? I thought it was only a few.Although shrugging off Dark Energy and Anti-Protons like there nothing is a bit more bullcrapish,

A Sazkarjhit warfleet consists of one cruiser, two dozen frigates, a dozen destroyers and 6-8 specialized ships (EW ships, supercarriers, corvettes, etc.)

And I was trying to compensate for the fact that your ships managed to withstand an awful lot of fire.
SCNOSE High Command

Fleetmaster Magama'yum shook his head in shame, watching the battle being projected in the War Department Office. General Zanro'kum and Commander Felasi'hum standing next to him.

"They didn't listen, Commander. Those Equestrians were too damn dense to listen." he muttered.

Doman put her hand on his back, patting it gently. "There wasn't much you could do. They were being unreasonable. But concentrated fire from that many ships should have done much more significant damage. It's almost as if the Equestrians are playing god. Regardless, if we're going to battle it out with them, we're going to win our way through this. There has to be a way to win this."

Daraya looked at datasheets on a nearby panel. "Assault Fleet 053 was called in as Assault Fleet 071 has been crippled by the Equestrians. They have a fleet of high-power shield ships, and their flagship is loaded with a Maelstrom Gravity Well."

The battle-weathered commander looked to her naval subordinate. "Order those ships to cover the fleet when they get there and fire that black hole."

"Aye, Ma'am."

Equestrian Outer Space

Graced in the Dawn's shields barely held against the first volley of Anti-Proton streamers, and within seconds their shields were whittled down to nothing. The hull glowed white hot and melted and other sections exploded. Ships began clearing from it as far as possible, because heat that reached near the payload bay for the Super ARC and any one of the three reactors on board would end catastrophically. Eventually, the white hot heat reached the fore loading room of the cannon, and it exploded violently--separating the bow of the cruiser from the rest of the hull. The violent explosion broke through and eventually got to the reactor, causing an equally devastating blast. Only a handful of escape pods were seen jettisoned from the craft. Communications were totally lost.

With no flagship, it was the assault fleet's saving grace when AF053 rushed out of slipspace. The frigate-sized shield ships moved in front of AF071 and projected massive, iridescent energy shields covering the front of the fleet. They were strong enough to hold back most fire from the Equestrians. The flagship of AF071, the PNS Heavenly Descent, now acting-fleet lead for both fleets, sent a message to the enemy warships.

"This is nonsense! Stop your firing at once! If you refuse to do so, one of my gravity well-equipped ships will fire, and you and your crews will be pulled into a dark, empty void for eternity!"
Duck, baby, if a fleet of warships that maybe constitutes to, idunno, several dozen ships, all fire at once with every single weapon, three measly ships can't be THAT strong enough to shrug them all off.

I mean that many ships firing could amount to thousands of slugs, torpedos, missiles, plasma bursts, etc. which really should be able to do more than shield wear and minor hull damage, your ships can't be that invincible.
