I feel like we push Mass Effect enough into the RP as it is.

Still, I love how it takes until one big enemy threatens everyone else that most of us unite to fight them off, even if we were literally about to set off a war in itself before.

The Battle of Sol
Massive swirling black-and-blue masses were ripped in space as six massive Sazkarhit warfleets came into Sol from Slipspace. They quickly met up with the Equestrian and LCF fleets as Sazkarjhit plasma and missile barrages were launched from the larger frigates and cruisers. 50 Trikolo-Class destroyers formed lines in front of the Sazkarjhit fleets, perpendicular to the invaders with several rows of coilguns extending from bow to stern charging. They all fired simultaneously, releasing a hellish storm of eight-meter ferrotunsgten slugs.

The flagship of the combined fleet, the Marku-Class cruiser PNS Sepulture of the Damned fired three nuclear ARC rounds and a barrage from thirty plasma throwers as Samani-Class Prowlers unleashed their own nuclear payloads. Sepulture's Fleetmaster realized that fission weapons wouldn't be the most effective alone, but en masse they'd be able to at least achieve something. He also ordered the forty-or-so Pulsar-Class electronic warfare destroyers to move forward and project EMP's.

The ships peeled away their hulls to reveal the spinning electromagnet beneath each ship's glasslike shield, and the spinning of them began to increase. The shields glowed a bright blue before the many collective waves were sent out, creating a wall of scrambling electromagnetic pulses.

Many of the ships also began deploying squadrons of Basilisk-Class fighter bombers, whose plasma throwers and missile launchers were alight as thousands of munitions were launched from the Sazkarjhit fleet.

Galactic Announcement

"Given the threat of Extra-Universal invaders and the onset pirate threat, we of Sazkarjhia, also believe that a separate, umbrella intergalactic legislature should be instated. Given the nature of those who threaten our existence, we believe that we can help contribute to the administration and protection of those under the administration. Since this debacle in Equestrian Space, we believe that rather than infiltrate or illegally operate with the imposition of our own administration, we can agree on and collaborate to find solutions to help the greater good. Given Sazkarjhit soldiers' maximum combat efficiency, we believe that we can help in legislature, but also in administration and code enforcement."

"We had entered Equestrian Space and they came to us with their guns hot. As we believed that they had a hair trigger we attempted to disable them. The warfleet that did this, however, were wary and wanting some action due to the situation they had previously been in (Stuck in an intra-system war between two smaller empires, they had been supplying humanitarian aid but in no way were authorized to intervene physically). As we have much more knowledge of Sylve, we asked to access any kind of manifest they may have had. Rather, though, they went on the offensive, and we lost two cruisers and a good deal of men because of it.

"A misunderstanding caused Sazkarjhia to be involved with the Equestrians' search for a Fringe Space station run by Sylve, and our men and theirs are currently locked in a firefight."

Encrypted Message to the Triarian Collective
"This lack of reason and the intervention in Sazkarjhit operations from the Equestrians has gone on long enough. If they don't see the impending menace we may have to take to drastic measures to get this point across. However, Sazkarjhia is substantially underpowered in the face of the Equestrians and an alliance might help with this. We ask that you at least devote a part of your Collective to helping Sazkarjhia take care of what is right. If something isn't done, Sylve will spread like the vermin they are; slowly killing off more and causing more damage to the innocent. This massive station on Equestrian Fringe Space may lend to Captain Switch's location. However, the Equestrians are completely unwilling to work a deal with us--we may have to make them do so.

"So, will you help us with our cause? You will have the reverence of billions of Sazkarjhit, and the gloried light of the gods if you do."

Dude you need to admit that your troops and ships and whatever are juiced as shit and you need to tone it down a little.

Me fighting you IC isn't a matter of a balanced, enjoyable fight.

Me fighting you is an unbalanced curbstomp battle where it's less about me even having a fighting chance of winning and more about survival, and it's not like Sazkarjhia is using sticks and stones, some of this stuff is pretty powerful.
