Bio

Yes my name is shit, please don't refer to me by it. Just call me Alpha.

I'm mail and my thing is science fiction. If it involves space travel, I've probably looked into it, since that's my big shebang although I am rather fond of cyberpunk and near-future as well. I'm also big on Atompunk, which is essentially taking the nuclear-obsession and Cold War hysteria of the United States from about 1946-1968. Best example of that is the Fallout games (Which, yes, is one of my favorite series of video games).

I'll do other kinds of roleplay but I really like Nation Roleplay, and typically the sci-fi ones since it's fun making new races, tech, etc. As a result I do like me certain empire-building RTS's and 4X games, like Civilization, Rise of Nations, O.R.B., (And maybe Sins of a Solar Empire if I had a better computer ;-;).

Feel free to enjoy what I've written, I don't have much since I do this rather casually.

Message to Equiis Pact Science Crew A947

"This is Supreme Commander Lano'dum of the People's Military of Sazkarjhia. From what recent intelligence reports are stating, the Pact may be facing a confrontation with the Triarian Collective. I am hereby requesting that any research development focused on military technology be diverted to or focused on the recently-acquired Mark I Black Hole Projector."
Sazkarjhia Colonization Fleet 004, Fleetmaster Sayar Tin'yum

After a few days of FTL travel, orders were given for the entire fleet to drop out of warp. The 450 large starships slowed down, and looming in front of them was a large star system. There were several planets--at least nine or ten--orbiting a gargantuan yellow star. Fleetmaster Tin'yum strode over to his senior astrogation officer's computer terminal. The planet they were looking for was the fifth one from the star.

The ships jetted over there until details could be made of it. It was a fairly large earthen planet, with an orange-ish atmosphere. Clouds of various colors swirled around one point, large, blue streaks of lightning jetting across its surface. Below the clouds were rolling seas of blue; water, they hoped. A scientific research vessel, the Beacon, dodged around the fleet and penetrated the atmosphere. From a distance, small probes and other such devices jutted from the craft.

In front of one of the factories laid a massive crowd--workers, soldiers, civilians, all across the board. Before them was a small stage with a wooden pedestal. There was noise and chatter between the folks on the ground before a high-ranking soldier on the stage hushed them with a few shots of his rifle. Striding up to the stage were two Sazkarjhit gentlemen: One was in a soldier's armor, with gold and silver alternating striping across the chestpiece, a rank identifier which only belonged to a Grand Fleetmaster; the commander of the Sazkarjhia Center for Naval Operations and Space Explorations, the People's Navy. He was not wearing a helmet, most likely had a filter in his throat, something that was expensive and only reserved for top officials. He had bright orange, smooth skin, with a yellow pattern running down the sides of his face. His deep black eyes had developed small, white pupils; identifying a Sazkarjhian of age. The other was in formal Sazkarjhit garb: A dark-blue suit, with a small armored vest under, he, too, was not wearing a helmet. He had the same colored skin, with a yellow pattern of bands around his neck. His horns were cropped close to his head, and his eyes, too, had developed small white pupils.

The soldier stepped up to the pedestal, tapping the microphone to test it, creating a loud whine. He breathed in for a minute, and then spoke.

"Good morning to all workers, soldiers, and civilians--Sazkarjhit and Equiis alike. For those who do not know, I am Grand Fleetmaster Daraya Magama'yum, commander of the Sazkarjhia Center for Naval Operations and Space Exploration; Sazkarjhia's navy. Most of you may be wondering why you came here at this hour, and I am more than happy to tell you. The SCNOSE has recently reached demands for a multi-purpose attack and search-and-rescue craft. We are happy to announce that this project has acquired enough funding to go into production..."

A soldier walked up to the stage, carrying a large box in his arms, draped in cloth. He set it on a stand near the pedestal. Fleetmaster Magama'yum stepped back, as the civilian approached the pedestal.

"I am Garyan Balaski'dum, owner and proprietor of Balaski Aerospace, Incorporated. When I took this assignment from SCNOSE High Command, I didn't know what to expect, how to approach it or what to do. But Operation SERPENT has come to fruition. While an actual working prototype is still under development, I'd like to introduce you to..."

He grabbed the cloth, breathing in deeply.

"...The Rakora-Class Assault ship!"

He pulled it off, revealing a scale model of a peculiar ship. It was long, with triangular wings towards the end. Four small holes could be seen at the front where magnetic accelerator cannons laid. Towards the middle was a large, box-like bridge with windows and lights. Behind that was a massive, swiveling MAC cannon that could be aimed independently. Smaller missile launchers and plasma throwers were on the sides, and an impressive point-defense network was around the entire ship. At the ship's aft were four engines, two small ones towards the center and two wide ones on the side. On the side was a name identifier in Sazka. ((The Sazkarjhit vernacular))

BASILISK AS-001

The ship was impressive, some cheered and some were left agape.

"The hull is almost finished, and will be laid down soon. But we do need help with it." Balaski'dum stated. "While normally reluctant to take in newer builders, this is a very ambitious project, and we will need all the help we can get. If you wish to work for Balaski Aerospace, Inc., please head to our offices on 3491 Kardabi Street, where we will allow applicants in."

Once the refueling was finished, the payment for the fuel was paid off at 500,000 I.C. a ship, adding to about 150,000,000 Credits total. After this, the ships detached from the station and regained formation. Each ship's TOE roared to life, causing the ships to glow brightly, before lurching forward and disappearing into the abyss of space.

Fleetmaster Tin'yum chuckled, then pressed a couple buttons on his wrist datapad. He read several projected documents before turning back to the Equestrian. Clearing his throat, as if to speak officially. "The official orders from SCNOSE High Command request the following:"

"To begin with, we wish to acquire more information regarding what has happened between the Equestrian and Makudan Empires, Triarian Collective, and Earth Alliance. We have taken a figurative step back in terms of intergalactic communications and did not hear of what occurred in the so-called peace talks. As certain Equiis Pact-based Order of the Grand Vessel's Sword units were with you, we wish to know if it majorly affects Sazkarjhia in any way. Secondly, we request naval support from the EP fleets or Equestrian naval fleets. Even as heavily armed as we are, the threat of pirates toting a black hole projector is very prominent. Since we are only touching on the use of non-conventional warfare, we ask that a group that is more well-defended against such a contraption is there to assist us. It will take some time before all ships are completely refueled--a few days at least--so we're leaving you plenty of time to consider these requests."
Equiis Refueling Station
Sayar waved his hand dismissively, saying, "It's fine, it's fine, really."

He sat at the small table in the center of the breakroom. The two O.G.V.S. with him took post at the door, with their rifles in a port position. Fleetmaster Tin'yum turned to the unicorn.

"Is it all right if I speak with someone of higher power; particularly concerning the Equiis Pact? it's very important that I do." he asked.
Equiis Station
The fleet drifted over to the refueling stations, and idled next to one another while each one had new nuclear cores installed. The rest of them that were fine docked on the station; temporary leave for the sailors while every ship would be refueled--a process that would take several hours for each ship. Red Breeze maneuvered to one of the larger docks, descending slowly towards its surface and retracting its keel-mounted sail until only a small part of it jutted from the craft's underside. A series of holes opened up, and the cruiser's retro-rockets fired, slowing its trajectory as six pedestal-like landing implements fired rockets. This continued Red Breeze reached one of the access terminals, where it hit the surface and opened hatches to connect to them.
Equiis, Equiis Pact Space

SCF 004 dropped out of warp as it slowed towards the Equestrian homeworld.

"Why are we exiting warp?" the communications officer, as well as several other ship commanders, asked over intercom. Fleetmaster Tin'yum strode over to the microphone and reported, "We are stopping near Equiis for refueling and restocking. I also want to ask about catching up with recent intergalactic events, as well as asking for Pact support."

Silence, mostly in agreement, washed over the channel. Once the planet loomed into view, Sayar changed channels and sent a message.

This is Fleetmaster Sayar Tin'yum, commanding officer of Sazkarjhia Colonization Fleet 004. We are requesting to land on your planet, or at a station, for refueling and restocking. I myself wish to bring my cruiser down, I wish to speak with someone to inquire recent intergalactic activity and to ask a question regarding the Equiis Pact."
