"So here we are." Aaron muttered, it had been several weeks, and had required a great deal of subterfuge but they had done it. Aaron and a crew of expendable mercenaries had managed to install a number of false GN Drives around the ruined colony, Junius Seven, in addition to a few surprises for when people would inevitably arrive to interfere.

He returned to the Nava-Hoe in his construction optimized Astray, entering the Mobile Suit hangar where the Gold Frame and Throne Zwei waited alongside a few other miscellaneous mobile suits.

The Guild Tech returned to the bridge, sending a discreet message to Azrael, before having the Nava-Hoe set course for an optimal distance to avoid arousing suspicion when it became time to commence the operation. It had been weeks, but Aaron was confident that the vast number of preparations he had set up beforehand would be more than sufficient for dealing with any would-be threats, especially if any of them decided to attack him or al-Saachez in the event that their role in these events were sniffed out while it was still in progress.

The laser, heavy laser and special fortress class spotted the falling asteroid and mobilized attempting to shoot it down but only managing to to burn away sections of its surface. Meanwhile the Reactor received orders from its Superiour and fired its routine payload into the Vok's "planet buster" causing spatial distortions and destroying it. However an unforeseen Quantum surge washed over the planet's surface mutating the various classes into new beings

And then Phobos landed on them,

Mars Colony Australis

Fllay and the remaining crew of the Dominion arrived in the middle of a large city, encompassed by a massive dome, shielding them from the elements. A young man with long blue hair and a blank stare ran up to them.

"You, who are you? Are you bastards Terrans?!"

Fllay simply stared at him, confused. First she was on the Dominion, then she was told some things by floating skulls that said she couldnt comprehend them, and now she was talking with some girl with an awfully deep voice.

"I-I'm sorry, little girl, but I'm still not sure what's going on. Where are we?"

The young man's eyebrows twitched, but he was bred to lead Australis and the martian people, dammit. He wouldnt let a minor case of gender confusion get him down.

"You're on Mars, lady. Welcome to the Australis colony! Now who the hell are you?!"

Fllay simply stared, as a wave of bright white-blue light entered the dome as if the barricade itself didn't even exist, before it washed over them.

"Oh, hell." Were her last words before the Quantum surge washed over her, changing her life...forever.
Meanwhile, the Nava-Hoe had already cleared Mars orbit, and was well on it's way back to the Earth Sphere. So they opened up a line of communication with Azrael.

"Huh. A shame, that." The Chairman said, as he was briefed on the situation, his eyes now taking on a manic glint. "Well, gentlemen, at this rate it looks like our only hope is to unite humanity under a single ruler. I'm thinking that should be us."

"Agreed." Flit replied, "The only problem is, of course, ORB."

Azrael nodded, "How about we colony drop them? Blame it on some Alien sympathizing terrorists?"

Flit simply stared at the man incredulously, joined by Natarle and Choppedchopped, Aaron and Ali, on the other hand, nodded in agreement.

"Or better yet," Ali began, "Say we don't have a damn clue either. It'll be a wild goose chase."

"Great idea, al-Saachez," Azrael pointed a finger from across space at the mercenary, "They'll spend so much time hunting down an imaginary boogeyman that those Coordinators and other idiots will never be able to stop us."

Flit raised his hand to his chin, "It would save time if we wiped out dissension and began a witchhunt for would be sympathizers...."

Aaron nodded, "It should be possible, if you'll let me design the propulsion system for it, I can make it virtually untraceable, thanks to some...techniques I picked up courtesy of studying the toasters blueprints."

Chachamaru morality subroutines were at an impasse with her gold digging circuitry, as her relief at being found useful by her meal ticket warred with her programmed reluctance to harming innocents.

Natarle on the other hand, would have none of it. "What are you people talking about!? These are the lives of MILLIONS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE! OW!"

Her tirade was interrupted before it could build up steam by the young Shinn Asuka, who simply kicked her in the shin while chanting "God and Tradition, God and Tradition" repeatedly.

Ali chuckled, "You heard the kid, ORB lost their right to survive when they made themselves enemies of God and Humanity. For the sake of our Blue and Pure World, or something."

Azrael smirked, "So, Gentles, any ideas?"

"A few."

Natarle simply glared at the assembled group while her gynoid rival continued to be useless in a corner.

The crew of the Nava-Hoe watched in silence as Mar's moon, Phobos, was sent on a collision course with the Red Planet beneath it.

The blue haired man, Flit Asuno, turned towards the blond on deck, "Did you set the coordinates for impact to approximately where the Dominion would crash?"

The man being addressed, Aaron Gentles, simply nodded in response. Flit turned back towards the show unfolding before him, the massive asteroid erupting in flame as it entered Mar's sparse atmosphere, "Good."

The black haired woman, one Natarle Badgiruele, turned towards the pair in shock, "What was that you said?" She nearly shouted, her voice hoarse, "You're not even going to try to rescue the Dominion?!" She marched over towards Gentles, reaching back to slap him, before she was interrupted by a significantly faster slap to the face catching her mid-swing. "H-how dare you sacrifice those people!" She shouted, even as she held her own blushing face.

"Acceptable losses." Aaron replied flatly, "Necessary to ensure our escape from orbit, after they so easily shot down the Dominion. We couldn't afford to risk joining them, not with so much at stake."

Flit nodded, "Indeed. It's a mystery how we haven't heard of this occurring yet, but based on the firepower brought to bear, we can safely assume that everything on the planets surface is either dead or in league with these new hostile lifeforms. Lt. Commander, if you have any other problems, then I'm afraid that you're shit out of luck." He turned towards the other men, "Prepare to depart, we're leaving."

A loud thumping sound filled the bridge, as a green haired robotic gynoid walked in on horribly mismatched legs, "Excuse me. I happen to possess a tool that allows for orbital bombardment? Couldn't we use that to save the people that are stranded on the surface?"

Aaron and Flit shook their heads in exasperation, before the blond spoke up, "And you didn't mention this earlier why?"

"B-b-because I thought it wasnt important! You should have told me you were going to Mars!" The soulless machine replied, steam beginning to erupt from various vents in her body to account for the burn her subroutines were experiencing from being called out in the midst of her moment of triumph.

As a result, Flit glanced at the gynoid, before dismissing it with a wave of his hand, "It no longer matters. Had you mentioned it earlier, perhaps it would have made some small amount of difference, but I can clearly see how useful you are with just that. Gentles." The Vice Admiral turned towards the Guild Tech, "You should consider junking that toaster as soon as possible," Behind him, Natarle nodded her head eagerly.

"...I'll consider it." At this, Choppedchopped began crying cleaning fluid, it would appear that in this world too, her search for a meal ticket had failed. In a simulated panic, the gynoid began running her gold digging processes, desperately searching for an answer to her predicament.

"P-please don't throw me away, Master." Choppedchopped began, the expressionless blond turning towards her, "I'll do anything it takes to remain useful to you."

"We shall see, appliance. We shall see."

Phobos hurtled towards the horde of alien creatures, apparently uninterrupted.
Yzak Joules mother was in anguish in the Dominions mobile suit hangar, even as one of Mars moons began its own descent.

Meanwhile, Fllay Allster and some other random people appeared in a vast dark green chamber.

"W-who are you people!?" It just hadnt been the redheads day.

"WE ARE BEINGS OF SUCH MIGHT THAT OUR VERY FORMS ARE INCOMPREHENSIBLE. BUT NOT NEARLY AS INCOMPREHENSIBLE AS WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE MANY UNIVERSES THAT MAKE UP THIS ONE."

"Wh-what do you want with us?"

"MERELY TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU AND YOUR KIND HAVE BEEN MARKED BY THE DESTROYERS TAINT, YOU SHALL BE EXTERMINATED SHORTLY, ALONG WITH HIS GREATEST SERVANT."

"w-w-why?" She stuttered out

Information relayed from the destroyed laser and Heavy Laser classes back to the Reactor as it began it's computations. The laser attacks failed but their programming ordered them to bring the ship in for... experimentation. The Reactor sent forth pulses to use one of their more powerful weapons on the ship to ground it. The lumbering Fortress moved into position before firing a blast below the Dominion as the "bomb" detonated, creating a gravitational distortion wiping out the starboard engine for certain, according to the Reactor's new calculations.

"Well, gentlemen, it's a fine ship and I think you should all go down with it." Flit saluted casually as he was already out the door. Seconds later, he was in a spare Strike Dagger, equipped with an Air Pack, blasting open the Dominions launch bay with his beam rifle.

"Flit Asuno, getting the hell out of here." As the vacuum of space began dragging hapless victims into the void, Flit noticed a woman in a normal suit chasing after him, waving at his mobile suit.

"Can't have any of this get back to Amy whenever she gets here. It's for the best." The machine took off, abandoning Councilwoman Joule to her fate. Moments later the Dagger arrived on the Nava-Hoe as the hapless crew of the Dominion entered the martian atmosphere, firing blindly as it went.

Aaron approached the descending Vice Admiral, "I suppose that means we failed our job, then."

Flit shrugged, "It's fine. Did you prepare it?"

"Of course." Aaron led the X-rounder to the ships bridge, where an image of a single massive asteroid filled the viewscreen. "Coordinates are set."

Flit nodded. "Drop it."

Their sensors alerted them of the Dominion's presence while in orbit, several pairs of beady eyes staring into the sky in the ship's direction. A short charge later dozens of lasers were fired from the eyes, converging into a single beam which cut through the sky and into orbit striking the ship, burning through its Laminate armor and taking out the starboard engine. "Sir!" We're we've got a serious problem!""What kind of problem?!" The commander roared back, he had been on edge ever since those "armed interventions" by that psycho terrorist group had begun."W-we don't know! We've never seen anything like this!""Bring them up on screen now- Holy sweet mother of Christ" The commander swore as he saw them filling up the camera's view, hundreds- no thousands of irregularly shaped "meteors" ramming into the far side of the elevator- wait, that wasn't it.'Meteors?' He quickly realized something was wrong - they weren't punching through the elevator, they were piercing into it and unfolding, becoming a creature unlike any he had seen before. "Sir they're making their way into the blocks!""Lock down the area! Don’t let them advance any further!""We're trying sir! Th-they're melting through the blast doors-gahhhhhhhhh" The communication went silent as the Radam beasts had grabbed the man before tearing him into two.The invasion had begun.

http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Voiture_LumiereThe ability of the Voiture Lumiere systems attached to the Dominion and Nava-Hoe warped space around the ships, refracting the laser beams harmlessly around the Dominion.

Onboard the ships bridge, Flit smiled smugly to himself, "See? If it's Mars, there's going to be aliens. On screen! All personnel to battlestations!" The Dominion scanned the surface of the red planet, locating the beings which had attacked them.

The large beady eyed creatures continued staring up into space en masse, as Flit rested his cheek in his hand, smirking. "Send these images back to Tsuokolos. Scan for their home base! Hail the Nava-Hoe!"

An image filled up a corner of the viewscreen, showing Natarle Badgiruele in full uniform, "Sir! What was that just now!?"

"Aliens, woman. Where's Gentles?"

Natarle glanced to the side in anguish, "He's cooped up with that toaster of his, he says he's working on something. I don't trust it, Vice Admiral! That thing, it's suspicious!"

Flit rolled his eyes, "And what do you care?"

"I-I-I can't let a robot potentially compromise our tender ship, sir! There's no other reason!"

Flit palmed his face into his hand, secretly glad that the Guild Tech had taken her off his hands for the moment. "Tell Gentles and al-Saachez to prepare to sortie...but to first prepare that."

"That, sir?"

"He'll know what I mean." Badgiruele nodded, then saluted before cutting off the comm link. "Prepare all mobile suits to sortie! Fire Lohengrins!"

A hapless bridge bunny stood up, "Into the atmosphere, sir?"

Flit nodded, "Indeed. The atmosphere surrounding Mars is thin enough that it won't affect the Positron Cannon's destructive potential. Simply make sure to adjust for the variants in the targeting solution."

"But what about the nearby Australias colony?"

"They'll be fine."

Moments later, the Nava-Hoe began moving away from the Dominion, even as it proceeded to spam massive multicolored beams onto the planet beneath them, striking the alien creatures en masse.

Mars

The Nava-Hoe and Dominion arrived in near orbit of the Red Planet. When asked why they had arrived there in the first place, Flit merely shrugged and said the following:

"If you're looking for invading aliens, you should always check to make sure they didnt set up shop there first. Now scan for any space stations. I want to be sure we get the drop on that bastard Ezelcant if hes the one behind this. Vagan scum."

"So, you say that you are a Karakuri Chachamaru," Aaron began, "Is that your model designation? Product number?"

"...Umm...It's my name?" The robot provided unhelpfully.

"..." Aaron was silent, tilting his head in confusion, "Like a pet?"

"No, no," Chachamaru replied, "It's my name. My name as a person."

"Hahaha, that's just silly." Aaron chuckled lightly, "Appliances aren't people!" The engineer slapped his knee in amusement, before leveling a finger at the green haired gynoid, "Now, what can you tell me about how you work? I've got you plugged in, and unless I can find some cost effective way of keeping you powered, I'll have to consider tossing you back into space in order to save energy."

Chachamaru's logic circuits hummed to life, taking in this conundrum. After several seconds, she complied. "I run on...magical energy, basically. By inserting a key-shaped object into the port in the back of my head and turning it while feeding magical energy into it...my energy gets recharged?" The robot replied, smiling in a way as to appear shy about it.

"Magic doesn't exist." Aaron replied smoothly, whereas the gynoid in front of him appeared to become agitated.

"It does exist! I'm a magic robot!"

"Hmph. I doubt it." The engineer replied, "If magic really did exist, then I'm sure that there would be some system of laws that governed it's usage, after all." The blond man raised an eyebrow in challenge, "If you really are a magic robot, you should be able to explain the principles of it to me, right?"

In her emotional emulation subroutines, Chachamaru felt the need to restore her imitated "pride" and so took on the guild tech's challenge. The lecture lasted for several hours, being interrupted first by the arrival of an unseen rodent from seemingly nowhere, three separate stabbing attempts by a young Shinn Asuka, and finally, the two-ship convoys arrival at the Troya Space station, an installation belonging to the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization or, DSSD for short.

There, stuff happened, where Flit Asuno and Councilwoman Joule negotiated with the DSSD for access to working prototypes and data on their Voiture Lumiere technology as well as their other projects. In exchange, Aaron let them hack into a conscious Chachamaru, drawing upon her artificial intelligence to advance their own development into the technology by years. If humanity survived, the GSX-401FW Stargazer would no longer be just a pipe dream.

This also coincidentally proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Karakuri Chachamaru not only ran on magic, but also was from a parallel universe, on top of causing the gynoid immense personal pain. For some reason, Lt. Commander Badgiruele did not take lightly to the Gynoid's presence aboard the Nava-Hoe and proceeded to force her way onto the ship in order to better "keep a watch on the suspicious machine and keep it from compromising their tender ship". An unnecessary concern, Aaron indicated, by virtue of having shut off Chachamarus ability to influence anything of a technological nature outside of her own body.

His assurances fell on deaf ears, however.

After a few weeks perfecting the technology and then adding it onto the Dominion and the Nava-Hoe, courtesy of the efforts of Aaron, Flit, and one Selene McGriff. With the installations done, the Voiture Lumiere technology was then used in conjunction with the nearby DSSD satellite, Apollon A, launching the two ships towards their next destination:

Mars.

Azrael had received a call from that fool Patrick Zala about putting their ceasefire into writing.

"Heh, as if he expects a piece of paper to keep me from pulverizing him and his bastard kind the moment I get a...what's that smell?" The chairman of Blue Cosmos paused, looking into an office nearby as he was hit by the overwhelming stench of old sweat and cheetos, "Is that...Djibril?"

It was. In the past two days since Flit had decided to mindfuck the man, he had put on over a dozen pounds, grew out a stubble on his chin, and opted to walk around with ill-fitting outfits that did nothing to hide his growing bulk. Pinching his nose, Azrael leaned his head into the dark chamber, devoid of light except for a single television moniter showing some kind of children's cartoon. Djibril sat on a couch, watching it while holding a glass of wine aloft in the air.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Oh, Chairman Azrael. Come, join me in watching the dance of ponies." The wreck of a man sad, patting the couch to his side invitingly.

"Uh. No. I don't watch crappy kids cartoons." As soon as the words left his mouth, Azrael heard the sound of glass creaking and cracking.

"...Can't account for the tastes of plebs like you." He replied, smirking even as he trembled in impotent rage.

"Well, whatever. You still have a job to do while I'm out at this meeting, so I expect it to be done by the time I get back. Got it Djibril?"

"THAT IS NOT MY NAME!!!!"

Azrael left the room, shaking his head. Ordinarily he would have brought Djibril along just to keep himself entertained, but in his current state, he'd only serve as an embarrassment. "What happened to you...?"

it was a question that would haunt him the entirety of his journey towards meeting with Zala
Aboard the Nava-Hoe, Aaron was busy in his personal workshop. Surrounding him were a number of sharp, painful looking implements. Including, bizarrely, an assortment of axes.

This is...complex. It appears to run on no kind of technology I've ever encountered before.

He carefully rolled the machine onto it's face, before jamming a screwdriver into the base of its neck.

If I understand this correctly, there should be a panel located here for me to pry open...

There wasn't, and a small stream of white fluid burst out at the impact point. Sighing, Aaron reached over for a hatchet from his pile of tools, and used that to hack a large section of the machines neck out above the shoulders. Then, prying carefully, Aaron lifted up the back of the machine's neck, revealing some kind of electrical socket like hole that had been obscured. Wordlessly, Gentles grabbed a live electrical wire, and jammed it in.

The energy seemed to pass through, as various systems on the gynoid seemed to activate, followed by a piercing scream. He unplugged it, before returning to work. Now that he knew how to power the device, he could make some real progress. He withdrew a USB cable and shoved that into something that looked like a compatible port that was also located at the base of it's neck.

Time to look at it's programming.

Several hours later, Aaron was finally finished. He couldn't find anything compatible with the gynoid's old frame, so he simply attached some of the bulkier bipedal legs he kept on hand as replacements for his cleaning robots. It had taken some work, but it would be able to move from point A to B, at least. Along with some other poking around in the machine's OS, Aaron found out that he wasnt able to access the machine's higher functions with the equipment he had on hand. He was still able to make some minor if necessary adjustments to the machine's settings, though.

The problem was the power consumption. It apparently lacked the ability to charge itself, so Aaron was forced to keep it plugged in if he wanted any kind of prolonged activity from it. Sighing, the engineer made a note to pick up a sufficient external power source the next time he had the chance. But in the meantime...

He wanted answers. It was very rare for a piece of machinery like this to appear before him, and Aaron couldnt help but wonder if the gynoid in front of him might be related to the aliens that had showed up lately. So, plugging her in once again, he figured it was time to get things started

This kept on happening to her! Always getting split in half again and again and again! Her logic circuits couldn't comprehend why it was always the same method, no matter how many times she fought. Her CPU began dreading the possibility that the one the humans called "God" simply was using her as a cosmic joke to amuse himself.

Why? Just because she was made by humans? Because she pretended to have a soul in spite of being a godless machine? Was it because she attempted to do what any woman would logically desire and seek out a male in order to use them for cheap labor and the acquisition of currency to fund a life of comfort?

The images kept looping in her memory viewing subroutines, and so she kept screaming. Sometimes it was the same person that did it. Other times, it was some kind of force beyond her imagining, or some being she could not recognize.

She had been a victim so many, many times after Negi had died.

So many faces that flashed across her flash memory, the faces being the last things she saw before being chopped in half once again

Then there was that one time she never even saw it coming

Or that one weekend...

At least she had gotten off easily, compared to what had happened to her best friend...

Poor Aigis.

But then, one day, her suffering came to a temporary end in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where she encountered a lonely man who attempted to use his supernatural abilities to make her fall in love with him. Poor Finn never realized that soulless machines were immune to his power, but he was able to drive off a few monsters that had been dangerous for her in her current position.

He was no Negi, but Chachamaru had been through too much by then to complain about standards. Negi was dead and gone, and here was a convenient meal ticket just waiting to shower her with everything she could ever want.

Or so she had thought at the time.

Chachamaru's memory banks recalled the final fateful moments of that battle as she was split in half, yet again, as Finn just stood by, crying like the useless little bitch he was as her upper body was forcefully sucked through the void. She never had learned the name of the being that they were fighting, only that it was so powerful that its very presence warped space and time in odd ways.

Her trip down memory lane ended, Chachamaru noted that her screaming subroutine had come to a halt, so she opened her visual receptors once more, taking in the scenery around her, and the face of the blond man sitting on a stool, facing her.

"Do you speak English?"

"...Yes." Chachamaru answered

"What is your designation?"

"...My name is Karakuri Chachamaru."

"I see. That sounds japanese." The blond man stood up, grabbed a tablet computer, and then proceeded to leave the room.

"...Eh?" The green haired gynoid said, the only response her programming could find appropriate for the situation.
"So." Ali said, as Aaron returned to the mess hall, after nearly 12 hours of working on the machine, "What's with the android?"

"It's japanese. Possibly ORB make. I've never seen technology that works the way it does. It may be related to those things that attacked the Ame-no-Mihashira the other day, I'm hailing the Dominion."

So he did, after returning to the bridge. "Lt. Commander Badgiruele, Mr. Gentles. What's the occasion?"

Aaron ignored the blush to her cheeks, because it really made him uncomfortable being looked at that way, "I need a word with the Vice Admiral, patch me to his quarters."

"You don't have the authorization to demand such a thing, Gentles! A contractor such as yourself can relay any messages you have to myself, the commander of this vessel, and I'll pass it up the chain of command! Now, what is this message!"

Aaron sighed, "Half of a gynoid hit my windshield nearly 12 hours ago. I've repaired it, and it seems to identify itself as japanese."

Badgiruele nodded, "Allster! Patch him through!"

Some time later

"Well, this is weird shit." Flit replied, having finally received all data on the "Karakuri Chachamaru" from the Guild Tech. "You say you can't identify how it's power source works?"

"No, sir. It appears to operate on some kind of spring-loading mechanism, but the item I found on it's person," Aaron holds up some vaguely key-shaped object, "While fitting, does absolutely nothing to charge it's systems."

"And you can't just figure out its schematics from it's core memory?"

"Programming language I've never even heard of."

"Hmmm...Well, our first destination has a number of highly advanced technologies. With luck, they may be able to assist you in decrypting it's files..."

"In the meantime, sir, I think I'll just ask it."

"Yes, it did seem self-aware, didnt it? You go ahead and do it, then update me on the results."

Flit sighed, then turned off the transmission.

"Project Stargazer, and some kind of mysterious ORB robot, huh? This just keeps on turning into more and more of a clusterfuck."
