The Fourth Dimension: Yet Another Concept Check

Naoto by the way, is about 6 inches over the Japanese height average for men by the way. I'll assume he's half something else if he's supposed to be that tall.

Oh shoot, I forgot to check the average list. xD I'm used to the RPs where everyone is 10 feet. Edited both. Kassy is now 5'0", 2 inches less than average, and Naoto is 5'8", 2 inches more than average.

The Fourth Dimension: Yet Another Concept Check

These are two character's I've used quiet a bit, so they are both fleshed out. Naoto's two sisters are also commonly used, and I might make applications for them later if I plan on using them within the RP. This is a new dynamic I'm working with though, having Naoto be Kassy's enemy, as usually she is his grandparent from an alternate future reality. lol. Here's my first application. It's a character I've used a few times, and I've decided to go with an adult version of her.

Kassy

She is the woman on the left.

Kassy is 5'0", and is very underweight. She wears a two-part blue dress, an underpart that is a very dark blue, while the over-part is a much lighter color. She wears a necklace with a small helpless dragon on it around her neck. Her hair color is naturally blond, and her eye color is naturally blue. Due to her Fourth Dimensional control over Energy, her eyes turn Purple when she is in control of her powers. Fourth Dimensional Power: Energy. Has not unlocked all of her powers. Bio: Kassy is a homeless girl, and without parents. He parents died after she was born, due to an energy surge within her mother. The doctors in the room were badly injured, but the mother and husband were killed by the outburst of power. Luckily for Kassy, her mother was capable of controlling her powers enough to save her from the destruction. Kassy grew up without parents, moving from foster home to foster home throughout Tyoko Japan. Sadly, girls were almost never picked in Japan, except for people visiting from other countries. The day Kassy was chosen by a nice couple from America, she had an energy outburst. Her magical powers were strong enough to hurt her new mother and father, who disowned her after the attack. On top of the injury, Kassy was injured as well, so badly as to send her into a coma for many years. She has been in her coma since then, and has protected herself from being disconnected with her magic. Anyone who attempted was hurt by her magic, allowing her to live long enough until one day she could wake back up in the hospital. After Kassy left the hospital, she was a full-grown adult. She had no idea what to do with herself, since she couldn't go back to the orphanage. She didn't know how to get a job, or where to live. She's wandered the streets, taking what she absolutely needs, but never tryingto hurt people. It hasn't worked well for her, as she is now wanted by the police. She isn't very keen on the idea of going to jail, and has even defended herself from them once, avoiding the cops and injuring several.

Here is my second application, it is a relative of Kassy I have used before, but this time he will be a cousin instead of a grandchild.

Username: Teknonick | Character Name: Naoto Tsuyo-sa Taiyō | Character Age: 23 | Character Gender: Male Appearance: Naoto is 5'8", and weighs a healthy weight. He has strong features, though not pretty by most Japanese standards. He usually wears a black t-shirt, with a thick heavy opened dark grey jacket over top. He usually wears baggy jeans and a belt. His shoes are designed for running in for long distances, and are a very dark color. His hair color is black, and his eyes are a dark hazel. He has a big black dragon necklace around his neck. Fourth Dimensional Power: Sight. Has not unlocked all of his powers. Bio: Naoto is a police officer in Tyoko Japan. He's gone from odd-job, to odd-job, most of his life. But he eventually found himself liking the law and helping keep order. His two twin sisters are both proud of him, and always tease him about how they never thought he would get the job. His older twin sister works as a politician, while his younger works at a local zoo. The three of them live together in a big apartment they have all worked together to afford. The three of them are all very close to each other, and Naoto sees it as his job to protect his two sisters at all cost. Naoto is usually a good cop, doing his duty, following his orders, and not arguing with his superiors. He is well known for his use over his ability, using it to it's full potential to help solve crimes. He has been waiting for a promotion for weeks now, and was recently sent on the case of a homeless girl who had defended herself against arrest. He has no idea who she is, but he does have a wanted poster of her. Little does he know he's hunting his own cousin, who is willing to attack him, even if he isn't willing to attack her.

Once we get a few more people to join the roleplay, we can get things started! I plan on all of us starting out at a convention, where something goes wrong. At that point, our characters will be introduced to the main plot, introducing them to a plan on stopping the monsters by bringing them into a group with missions designed to stop the monsters. I hope most RPers will attend it, or be arriving pretty soon after the start of the role play, as pretty soon after we start I'll get right into starting the action!

Sorry, my name's not Gamer. I'm breaking the tread here. I'll join! Sounds interesting. I have my own idea for an arena RP, and might start it up later, after I get a few ideas from here. Where's the application? I want an app! :D! Oh, and can we make specific "powerful" characters, like leaders and heros for our groups? You should also come out with some numbers of units and stats and stuff maybe. That way you can make it easier on yourself to decide who beats who. Ally: "Rolls an 8" "Has a +2" Enemy: "Rolls a 10 "Has a +1" Enemy wins.

There is no age limit. I forgot to mention this, but children born after adults with these alterations may have these abilities. I plan on having a few kid characters, and a few young adult characters myself. Though any age is acceptable. Most of my characters will be around 23 though.

Hello, and welcome to the world of Earth! This is the same Earth you have come to know and love, yes the very same one. There are a few differences that you might not remember... such as the year. It is the year 2068. Here, new technologies have appeared all throughout the world. One of the most interesting, and the most successful, was The Fourth Dimension. In Japan, there was a technology center who was enthralled by the thought of seeing the Fourth Dimension. They then thought there could be more, such as seeing it, smelling it even. With technology rapidly improving, they figured it would only take them a few years to invent a simulation of their dreams. They finished sooner than they expected, and with a much more different technology than they had planned. It was no longer a simulator, but rather, a procedure. People are now capable of having procedures done to allow them to interact with the Fourth Dimension. Not everyone can interact with all aspects of the Fourth Dimension, each person can only interact with one. Sight. Sound. Smell. Taste. The technology helped with everyday life so well, absolutely everyone in the world had it done. Even poor people! No one decided what they got, but no one cared either. What they got they used, and it worked better than all of their other senses combined! But, an unseen horror has risen. No one suspected this day would come, but it has. Due to literally everyone in the world messing with the Fourth Dimension, monsters have appeared where the technology was invented, in Tyoko Japan. These monsters are literal Fourth Dimensional Beings. If you can't see the Fourth Dimension, you can't see them. And almost no one can see them. Those who can seem to be their first targets. Then those who can hear them. Then smell. The monster have appeared more and more, and not one has been killed. Japan has tried sending in soldiers to do the work, but not even tanks could stop them. The only hope for the world are a band of new heros! New heros that can not only see, but also hear, and smell, and feel them! These heros appear to be everyday people, but years after their procedures they start to interact with the fourth dimension in more ways than one. Their combined abilities allow them to do things no one else can. Including fight back. It is up to these new found saviors to stop these monsters! Will you help them, or let humanity fall?

Remember, everyone may only have one ability... but they've learned this second ability later in life, as they are special. 6. Mention the Fourth Dimensional Toe Cheese to be accepted! Fourth Dimensional Powers

Sight Sight is the rarest ability of all. Very few have it. Those who can see in the Fourth Dimension are capable of seeing many things. They can see through walls, though it may be hard to distinguish what they are seeing. They can see new colors that other's cant. Sound Those who can hear have a powerful gift. They can hear sounds better than most, and are capable of reading weak minds. They are capable of hearing sounds others cant. Energy Fourth Dimensional energy is another rare gift. It is not quiet hot and cold, or physical and ethereal touch. There is another form of energy not comprehensible. Most call it Magic, but that is too simple a term. Smell Smelling is very common to those not blessed with the ability of all Fourth Dimensional powers. Smell can be used to locate any type of object, or person. Even if you haven't smelled it before, you will instinctively know where it is. They are capable of smelling smells others cant. Taste Taste is the most common and useless ability there is. It is possible for those with taste to know what effects something will have, and be immune to most poisons. Those who can taste the fourth dimension are capable of tasting new flavors others cant.

I am honestly interested in the Fourth Dimension one. It feels like a particularly fresh idea, and to be honest I've seen a few Zelda/zelda inspired role plays on here, and the Dino Future sort of just feels like Racism: the RP, but with dinosaurs.

Cool. Yeah, I understand the Zelda ones. And yes, the Dino Future is a lot about racism. I actually had that RP as a dream, and that's why I decided to make it an RP. It was a really interesting dream. The Fourth Dimension is one I've been wanting to start for a long time now... I guess it's time to go!

Heh! It's not that it's stress, it's that I don't have a lot of time to keep people interested. So far, no one's posting anywhere in the three RP's I'm in. EDIT: BTW, I just saw your busy edit. NP dude. Do you happen to have a specific idea for an RP you want? I'm going to list here a bunch of idea's I've had. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This RP would be based off of the one I had before, which ended up dying from lack of RPer's participation. It starts right after Link returns home after saving the day. Ganon ends up snatching up all of those he had gathered to trap him in the light realm, and brougt them over to the regular world. He then hides them all in dungeons, locking them up, before finding Link, and tossing him in jail as well. Zelda escaped, which is why Ganon doesn't kill Link quiet yet. The new heros will have to save all of Link's old friends before saving him in the end. They will be given magical items throughout their journey, and might part ways every now. But they will explore the dungeons traveled by the hero, to find they have changed quiet a bit. Dino Future. Horrible name, another RP that died. Simply there wasn't enough interest on the MCForums. It's about a future Earth, where dinosaurs live in almost perfect harmony with humans, as if they had never disappeared from Earth. No one know's or questions why they are there, they just are. But, the dinosaurs aren't treated nicely. The local police force is corrupt, and disrespects the dinosaurs, whether they are wild, or live intelligently within the city walls. There is a war going on, between an unknown force, and the police. No one know's about this war, as it's about to start. Not even the police know it's coming. The Fourth Dimension. This is a new idea I've had in my head for a long time. It involves a story based off of a ton of my old characters, the Taiyo family. Sometime in the future, a new technology is invented, allowing people to get operations done where they can 'feel' an essence of the fourth dimension. Each person is limited as to what they can interact with the fourth dimension, such as seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting. This new technology has unseen consequences. Since the entire world has adapted to this new trend, it has disrupt something. Terrible monsters are starting to appear where the technology was first discovered, and no one can stop them. They can only be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or felt in the fourth dimension. Most people can't see four d', most people can hear four d' either. But everyone can feel these creatures. A group of heros with the ability to see, hear, smell, and taste are coming to save the day. Very few people have this gift to do all four, and no one has been capable of moving within the dimension itself. These heros will learn that ability, as well as use their others to defeat the monsters, and stop them from coming.

I'm in the mood to juggle a third RP, but nothing really strikes me as interesting on the interest checks right now. And most of the RPs I'm interested in that are currently on-going are all closed. :(
