Oh. Bad boy Alternax! Naw, no problem man! A lot of people haven't been posting as of late.... Anyway, the story is moving along now, so you should hopefully have more to post about!

The Relics

Ahh, thanks for the responses Freeshooter! I edited on you though. Hehe. As for the post length... I can see it varies quiet a bit. My post length might sit around something like your last post's length. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, of course. Also, another question... how do roleplayers interact with each other if our posts are so long? I haven't ever been in an RP where posts like that were successful... but, obviously this RP is working out, so I just simply don't know how it works. I also read there's an IRC... uh... how do I access that? I haven't ever been real good about joining those, unless they stamp them in front of your nose (Like the one on these forums... but those don't work for me for some bizarre reason.)

It isn't as scary as I imagined, yet hopefully 'powerful enough' that I'll have to go through multiple edits of my character sheet. ;). Thank you for the push to the advanced section!

Hmm, not bad. Not as elitish as I was expecting. Sounds interesting! I feel like joining, but I don't have a crazy amount of time to post. I was wondering how often do people post? Would it be alright if I posted once a day/every other day sometimes, while others I posted several times for a whole weekend (Some weekends, not all)? If that's the case, does anyone have any sort of character they're looking for, or want someone that I can make a character related to? I love making new characters, of any gender, any background, and any personality. I haven't ever truly had a character that was related to another RPer's character, or knew them in some big way before the events of the RP... and I feel this RP is my chance to do something new like that! I'm really looking forward to a brand new character, with a whole new history, in a whole world that they can actually interact in (Instead of all the other RPs where I get in almost one-liners, then everyone else forgets who each other are unless I was one of the first people who joined)! I am going to admit... I haven't read very much. I glanced the rules, a few characters, and the CS itself. But I know enough that I am going to love it here! So, the questions again (So they're not forgotten they were asked):

1. How often should I post? 2. Can my character have a relationship (Not necessarily related to, just having had a past) with someone? 3. Do I have to read everyone's characters.? (I'd rather read them as I run into them. There's just so many... and I'm not sure where to begin with all of that. lol)

Alright, so... I've read the OP post. Very interesting indeed! I like the idea of these relics being bound to you, with the separation meaning illness then death. I already have a few ideas for a few relics in mind... two of which I have already started scheming would work for the basses of two characters I have in mind. I'm reading through the lore now, and I just have to say... I LOVE how you mention height! I always forget to mention height in my RPs, and everyone with 10-12 year old characters end up being 6'2" or some crazy stupid stuff like that. I'm just now reading onto the Geography part, but I'm also waiting on the map to load. lol. The map is huuuuge, and amazing!

Hello everyone! Now do know I'm not here to join the RP... I'm here to pick up Savi. She's run away from home, and won't come back. We can't proceed without her, as she hasn't even started the RP yet. So... if you all cooperate and hand her over, none of you will be charged with kidnapping.

Fourth Dimension

[Monster] The feeling of defeat. The itching pain that looms in the back of your mind, that you have failed. The honor lost, after having promised your success. That was what the monster was feeling after it's defeat from the untrained warriors who had so easily defeated it after it's years of training. They mocked it, sat on it, and examined it's very being... as if he were already dead. It felt ashamed, violated, and worthless. It had failed it's mission after so many years of training, after completing various trials, and finally receiving permission from the overlords. The overlords. the monster thought to itself... What will they think of me, giving up like I am? No! I must push on! I must retreat, and prove I can become stronger, and prove my worth once again! the creature stirred slowly after the battle, until eventually opening up a portal with the last of it's strength, and escaping through it to his own dimension. I will be back human-beings, I will prove to be a worthy opponent to you. But fear the day we meet again, as I will not back down as you have let myself live this day. The creature dropped directly into the main hall of his superiors, flopping onto the ground like a jumbled mess. The portal closed instantly behind him, leaving no trace of it besides the energy residue left behind. "So... you have returned. And in what poor condition. Have you no succeeded in your task?" One voice boomed, coming from much higher than the injured monster. "No... I have failed you. I fought well, but they knew my secret weakness! It's as if they were told!" he yelled as strongly as he could in his weakened state. He attempted to stand, but the coming boom did not make it any easier... "Silence! There are no excuses for failure. The form you decided to use for this attack was easily flawed. An enhanced sense of energy, smell, and feel... but a lack for sight and sound left you defenseless. You were nothing but a ravaging attack dog!" a second voice called from beside the other booming voice that had originally spoken to the fallen hero. "Forgive me... my lords... I have tried my best..." "Forgiveness is not of your nature, repetition is. You need not make apologies to us, just be given another chance to prove your worth. You have trained for too long to be tossed away like an insignificant insect." the nicer of the two voices spoke. "We will change you, using our own wisdom and knowledge to fill your head with the necessary skills needed for your new form." the voices spoke in union, before waving a single hand in a spiral. The fallen hero slowly felt himself heal, change shape, and a change in senses. He could start to see, hear, smell... but not in the usual sense he was used to. "Why are my senses weakened so? I... I am useless in this form!" he called out. He was much smaller than before, he could feel it... he knew what he had been transformed into. "I can't be of any use in this form! What am I to do?" he questioned the masters he sought out so much to please. "That is very simple. We will give yourself time to adjust to your new form. When you are finished, return to us, and we will send you back with your new mission. But for now, get some rest." the two voices then dismissed the hero, watching as he stumbled across the floor, making his way through the complicated structure of his lords. This will be interesting to watch.

The Best One Yet!

I forgot that our characters are human too... bathrooms anyone? I've also finished up the lab, as well as renamed a few things. There are now borders defining sectors as well, so as to not confuse people that they are indeed separate areas. I've also added in an arrow pointing off to the chow-hall, and another one to the long-distance deployment area. Oh, and labeled the (Private) training rooms Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Zelta (Zelta being Mr. Fukui's favorite word (That he made up), in case you didn't notice.) Does anyone have any more ideas for more rooms in Sector Zelta? We need a few here and there to make things feel cozy... perhaps a big main 'entertainment' area? Along with a few more brake rooms scattered, as the sector is big. It just happens a lot of the important stuff our characters need to worry about are all clumped together in one area. Hmm... does anyone think the rooms are too big? I mean... each room is pretty big! 20x24 meters (480 square meters), being about 1575 feet! That's bigger than most apartments. If they're to be so big... we'd have to at least say our characters up there are 'special', and when we design then ourselves, come up with multiple rooms inside of our bedrooms (Private bathrooms, kitchen, closet, ETC) probably. Now that I'm on the track that I've actually set each pixel as a full square meter... wow, everything is HUUUUGE! Does anyone think one room or another should be resized? I think I got the lab's proportions correct, and possibly each individual changing room... but everything else seems massive in comparison.

I made another post IC. Ba-da-pa, ba ya-ya! I think I'll stick to 'monster posts' for awhile. But, they'll have to be paused for a bit, as the next few will have to take place after a certain amount of events to reveal the next line in his story. Unless everyone wants spoilers of course. *Looks both ways for Unraveller to say no* Did that work? Did I get his attention?

Trapped [ a questing, adventure rp!]

I made two CS, all of them are the same, just in different formats. The first one follows the original format, the second is another format I thought was a little cleaner (You can use either you like of course), but also bigger.

Original Format

CS: Appearance: Josive is only slightly short for his age, though his family is known for being short before going into a big growth spurt. He eat's healthily, keeping himself at an average weight. His hair is short and blond, and his eyes are blue. He wears prescription glasses, without he can't see past his nose. He usually wears random t-shirts with some game on it, and jeans, and shoes. Name: Josive Ferrari Nickname: N/A Age: 13 Personality: Josive is a very serious person at times, though other times he can be outgoing and funny. He does have a problem balancing the two. Though, if his friends are acting immaturely, he feels like he needs to act as the mature kid in the group. He's usually very logical, and prefers to stand where he is and figure something out before acting. He can't stand not knowing something. Likes: His Friends, Bironica and Leera. Mathematical, engineering, or creative puzzles. Green. Dislikes: The sense of falling. Losings his friends. Feeling helpless to do anything. Bio before becoming trapped: Josive Ferrari grew up with his two parents, who met at a local airport. His father was a flight instructor, and his mother was a sports pilot flying in to refuel. The two locked eyes, and fell in love instantly. They were married, moved in together, and had Josive all within a year of their meeting. When Josive was ten, his parents wanted to go on a flight by themselves, so his father sat down with Josive and told him he was the 'man of the house now' before leaving him in charge. His parents went out on their flight, but never returned. Josive waited in the house for several hours, playing around and the likes. He thought his parents should have been home at a certain point, and thought he was being punished for not taking care of the house. He started cleaning up, and then doing homework, until he eventually passed out. When he woke up, the police where there, and explained what had happened. Josive had to know every detail, and refused to leave the house until they told him... they did, as they deemed it would probably have been best to tell him, especially since there weren't very many details. He found out his family were actually in the pattern for the airport, turning off of base onto Final, but the crosswinds were too strong, so they banked too much and entered into a spin. Their crash was unrecoverable, but they assured him it was painless and instant. Josive, freakishly, was fine after he knew why. They simply sent him away to an orphanage. There, he made two friends, sisters. Bironica, and Leera. Bironica was the nicer of the two, who actually helped Josive settle in. Leera was always teasing Josive, and trying to make things harder for him. Josive came to like them both, despite Leera's meanness, but he liked Bironica more. He's kept a diary of every event ever happened to him since he was six, and Leera has gotten a hold of it twice. She luckily didn't have a chance to read it either time, as the first time she tried getting Bironica to read it, who didn't want to. The second time Bironica caught Leera just as she was about to read it. Other: Josive isn't going to take very well to being trapped, and will try to fight his way out as much as he can. "Trapped"
