Name: Garrett Pinecone
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: Garrett is the one banging his shield right behind the man in the right foreground whom is raising his sword
Clothing (Besides the Night's Watch uniform): Clansman cloak, one set of linen trousers, rope belt, weaved snow shoes.
Weapons (Night Watch will supply if you don't own any): An iron shortsword, sickle dagger, leather-bound sling for flinging rocks and a short bow(only good for about 100 yards).
Personality:TBW
History (Optional):TBW

Placeholder for me. BTW, I don't know why you bothered putting in gender, The Night's Watch doesn't historically accept Women or Girls into its ranks, only in the time of the books have they been forced to try to integrate some women into the Watch, but even then Jon isn't exactly liked for doing it by the old guard.
Bump, Nevis and I have sorted out a fair amount of the groundwork for this RP's plot, if there is any interest in it, we can get started.

Lionheart! :DAlso, I think I didn't make myself clear enough-by showing you that, I was not at all suggesting we use those mechanics-I was just showing you that it's entirely possible to make a Dark Souls rp after the events of 1 without it being within the area of Dark 2. I find D2 to be a major disappointment on levels. As for classes-I actually very much enjoyed that Dark placed extremely little importance on classes. Classes are one of my hands-down least favorite game mechanics in any type of game. If you did want to, I can run that almost entirely, though-I was making that myself, and I've years of experience with d&d (though that system hasn't been tested yet). You should also limit the 'work it out as we go' as much as possible; having at least a basic idea with the details vague so as to be filled in almost always works better. And, if I'm co-gming or assisting, I can help with that.

Of course, I wasn't planning jumping in with no clue about where the plot would go, rather that we can work it out as we're getting this set up. I do have exams going on right now so its not like I can start this up tomorrow, but we can hash out the details on how this RP will work and iron out a story arc perhaps.
@Nevis In regards to the fine details of the backstory to the Occult groups, we can work that out as we go, though I'll greatly appreciate the help as a Co-GM, or simply as an assistant in running this.

I also don't think we'll go so far as to list precise stats like in-game, people's classes and personal histories will determine their specialities and skills (unless we truly want to go that detailed, but I personally don't feel up to doing that on my first Advanced.).

Hey folks, this is the first Advanced RP I've ever attempted, so try not to judge me too harshly on its potentially crappy quality.

I've only recently in the past few months gotten into the Dark Souls Universe, and I think its a truly amazing game, and having both played a substantial amount of the game myself and seen the lore videos of Vaativyda and Epicnamebro, I feel there are opportunities to make a good RP off of the Universe of the first game. I say the first game, because honestly with what I have seen of the second one, I haven't found it as compelling in terms of the story compared to the first.

What did I have in mind? Making a story off of the period in the Dark Souls Lore I'm deciding to call The Occult War. For those who don't know, this is the period in time at the height of the Age of Fire where a bunch of Humans attempted to steal the Lord's Soul of Gravelord Nito for their own devices, and they crafted special Occult weapons to wound and perhaps even kill the Gods to try and help accomplish this goal. Many high ranking members of the Church of the Way of White were possibly involved in this event, including perhaps even Bishop Havel, The Rock, a close friend and battle companion of Lord Gwyn.

The RP would basically try to make a story out of this event, showing the response of the Lords and their allies versus the Occultists and their supporters. Since this event is not strictly defined as to what specifically happened in regards to the Dark Souls Canon, other than the fact that it failed; I intend to make this fairly creative in regards to how it started and what happened as it progressed. We'd probably all play as humans, with our alliances falling wherever we choose, with the Lords, the Occultists, or themselves.

Anyone interested? I'm looking for more than a few players and one or two Co-GMs who know the original Dark Souls Lore pretty well and have run or participated in advanced RPs before to help me design a proper setup and story.
Gideon got on the elevator and got off at the floor of his office, stopping by there and going over to his safe, he unlocked it with the key in his pocket and revealed the sheathed curved sword of his informal office as Mediator among the Fairies. Enchanted to disappear back to its makers if one without the blood of the Fae folk were to touch it, it had been Gideon's for a long time. Grabbing a gym bag, he stuffed the sheathed sword into it, packing it full of used and sweaty gym clothes to conceal it initially if checked. He also grabbed the half of his ounces of gold which he kept in his office, the other half being in his bedroom apartment, he intended to repay his debts to the Wicked Witch of the North at her mailbox before he left.

He then dropped off the stack of letters he had looked through on he desk and locked the door behind him, heading back to the elevator and heading down to the lobby where he posited the glass jar contained one ounce of pure powdered gold into the Wicked Witch's mailbox, his soul stone now becoming even more like a Topaz. He then threw the gym back down at his feet and sat down waiting for Roz to return back down.

Rozalin stood there dumbstruck after getting some cash and a hotel card from max, which was strange in of itself givwen free gifts were not really his thing without something attached to it, but also because he strangely sounded worried... Max was normally a rather calm and smooth person but right now he was in a sour mood, but either way it seemed like she had a night at a hotel for free. It was at this point that Gideon joined in the lobby. "We just got word, something happened to Bigby" What was the point of keeping it secret "Max and Boogie have gone somewhere, no clue where. Well, I am off for a holiday night, so have fun with whatever you are doing" If he didn't stop her she would really just walk away and go to the 13th floor to get ready

Gideon stopped her for a moment.

"Actually Roz, considering how things have been lately with all this business with the Fairy Dust and Bigby going missing, maybe I should accompany you out tonight? No need for any more faces in the building vanishing if we can avoid it, you know what I mean? If you wish, just name a place and time and I'll meet you there. I have to go back to my apartment to pick up a couple things anyway."

Gideon's soul stone turned from its opal hue to slightly topaz-golden around his neck as he said this, he could feel its heat against his skin. It changed colour and temperature based on his "alignment", an old way for Fairies to keep track of his actions and how trustworthy he could be. He made a mental note that he would have to do something "cold" before the end of the night to correct the balance, but he wasn't overly concerned about it.
Gideon walked out of Cole's Office and descended to the ground floor of the Woodlands just as Max and Boogie whizzed off down the streets in Max's car, but not knowing who it was, he assumed it was just a couple of Mundy speeders. He saw the Caged Witch Rozalind in the lobby. Curious at seeing a Witch out of her normal residence, Gideon stopped to question her.

"Rozalind, what business brings you down here? You look sort of...dumbstruck."

Naw, I was just wondering why nobody had posted anything for about 24 hours. It is getting near the end of the University and College term though.
