“Guardians’ HQ. I remember the first time my mentor brought me there. It’s near the UN Embassy, if I remember correctly. A shining beacon of hope. It’s an enormous hall, with monuments and statues and whatnot. I did hear some rumors that the whole building was actually a set-up to divert the public’s attention from their real base of operations. If that’s true, nobody’s told me this.

I like their training room, though. Start-of-art technology, hard-light manufactured copies of famous villains and heroes. Beautiful thing of sheer destruction. Has adjustable levels of danger to keep you sharp and occupied on your weekends. Also, the decorum is quite nice.”

I'm not a fan of selective eugenics or being the bad guys. However, my second pick would be a race of silicon-based organisms. In other words, living rocks, or to be precise, a race of creatures with hard outer shells that grow with age and have very long lifespan, at the cost of low birth rate. As such, they are not big fans of direct warfare, preferring self-perfection and arts.
