Is RPGuild dying?

Basically nothings changing which is what mahz has told us.

Nothings going to be done. No communication but "Oh yeah I'm here"

Well, I guess this served a purpose.

We got Mahz to finally give us closure I guess. I guess it'll please some of the community who already didn't care, and for those who did oh well. Don't expect anything to happen.

How long are we supposed to wait for an update?

I've seen many just get tired of it and up and leave.

The old rpg had many people who stayed. Why? It was a decent website so you had more people willing to stay. There was a welcoming committee of generally the same people in introductions.

We've been kept in the dark so freakin long. Yeah, we were never told about the money problems until it became a reality. And if people are as loyal as you say, I'm sure they would have been willing to donate and we wouldn't have this problem.

If he has a life then maybe he could share the freakin responsibility? I even know someone that would be willing to help with design of the site, who currently has a job designing websites for colleges.

IF he actually was open about events of the website, we wouldn't have this issue.

Maybe you can argue about the members thing, but there's still that other problem.

Just look at this thread. No mods have shown up, let alone Mahz.

I'm surprised the hammer has not come down.

And as someone else pointed out-

Less people=Less ad money=Shutdown of site anyway since there's no revenue coming in. Or a second guildfall.

I used to be a member of RPG before the great crash. I then come back...

First of all there are no staff members, or in fact very little. In fact, I've seen some migrate to Iwaku. And I don't blame them because honestly Iwaku is pretty much like the rpguild of old.

There's literally no updates. It's been barebones for a year. I understand that one person is in charge...

But why? Jesus, let someone help Mahz. Share the website code with someone trusted. I'm sure someone with the expertise would be willing.

Or ask for anon donations to hire a professional web designer. Because the way it is now, it's complete shit. Don't even try to sugarcoat it.

QQcode is a piece of garbage compared to BBcode. There is much less options, and it always has problems. You can't change the font much other than bold, italicized, or other insignificant stuff we don't really fucking use.

This website is like the sorry crappy under budget sequel of the old rpg, never fulfilling to the prequel.

Iwaku is the new RPG honestly, fuck all.
