Tai Yang raised no defense against Alice's earlier question. But a thought did cross his mind. Who is Bruce Lee?
"Well met, Deja, I am Tai Yang." Tai Yang placed his left hand over his right fist and bowed in a traditional greeting. That was ever so slightly marred for those with sight by the fact that said fist was holding a blueberry lollipop. "May a home undiscovered ever be in front of your feet." As Deja gave Tai Yang a glimpse into her beliefs with "May the moon guide us." So did Tai Yang respond in kind.
"Hmm?" Tai Yang seemed to notice Yui's distress. Nothing shattered Yui's composure, not even for a moment, so even Tai Yang noticed it when Yui's words and face faltered. Tai Yang was not attuned to notice the presence of some dark force in the distance, having a resilience against such omens of darkness that also deadened him to their presence. But the disruption in one so immovable as Yui was not something he could ignore.
He waited, waiting as long as possible and giving as meaningful a glance as he could before he left. He wanted her to know he was willing to help if she trusted him. With whatever. If she does not trust me.. Why would she allow me to teach? Also she's chewing now.. Does this thing have a soft center?'
Alright, I'm finished editing my recent post about that. Got flustered and posted too soon without a proofread.
Just as Abraham had approached to look at the ceiling, he might have gotten a glimpse of a feminine hand, covered in light blue cloud body art, outstretched, placing another sign.
Another sign dropped down to Abraham. This one only had words written on one side.
"RUN! HE'S AN INTRUDER!"
Meanwhile, a floor tile directly above the intruder, and most of the ones nearby, collapsed when the bottom half of a larger than household sized hot water heater dropped through it. The only possible explanation for this being here was that said half of a hot water heater seemed to be halfway through the process of being engraved with flowing rivers, Japanese dragons, and stylized volcanoes. There also seemed to be an in progress fountain/tea brewer being integrated into its systems. Was it being made into a decorative tea fountain?
Still, Yakimura was not one to put art before the safety of her students. She dropped this before the intruder got too close to Abraham for it to be safe. She dropped down out of the ceiling a moment afterwards behind the target and the water heater, two blades drawn and striking forward immediately as her toes reached the ground, as though she expected her attack of about fifty pounds of metal and a hundred pounds of about 80 degree water, sorry, make that tea, to be a mild distraction.

We're all mad in here.
From the ceiling a sign slowly lowered in front of Abraham, dangling from a screen. If he looked up to examine the source, a ceiling tile had been removed and a pulley was being used to lower the sign from a distance.
Written upon the sign in a variety of languages was, "Feeling down? Feel free to ask for assistance! Here at Hikari Ryodan Academy we have a friendly, helpful, and eccentric staff!"
There was also a small mobius strip crafted out of broken back pack straps in a myriad of colors and materials. The straps seemed to be infused with potpourrii, some of the straps actually haven been taken apart, filled with potpourri, and stitched back together. This was on a hook with notes of "If you like, feel free to take! :)" In various languages. Though the smiley face was fairly universal.
On the first day, before the wave of mechanical break downs and cleaning jobs, summoning the Ninja Janitor was easier than usual, with errant sighs rather than idle words being enough to cause her to "appear".
I am glad that Tai Yang is a wall of muscles, who is not some sort of Hellhound/Phoenix, who does not smell sweet.
