Look, as long as you aren't posting for such things, it won't happen. Let's just let the characters be.
Well, Aurora can just be recovering until you get back, and Allen can be looking after her. That keeps them nicely out of the way.

I completely agree! And Calculus and Physics were pretty much the same class at that point. They don't call the equations the same thing, and technically my physics teacher didn't call it integrating or differentiation, but it was the same concept.

I personally liked do cross sections, I don't know why. The shapes were fun, even if I somehow always got the X's and Y's mixed up. Took me forever to get it right.

I know, right! The only difference between Calculus and Physics at that point is whether or not you're using a calculator. :)
Tai Yang

Tai Yang quickly caught onto the idea of a firm but not competitive shake. He seemed to be quite pleased to have navigated the greeting ritual without too much discomfort or embarrassment to either of them. It helped that the audience was blind.

"Your father passed on a marvelous ability. That we all could learn such skills." Tai Yang responded to Deja calmly. But he expressed mild surprise at the mention of another entity, Fury. Not, alarmed or discomforted surprise, but the surprise of discovery.

"Fury? That is an unusual choice for a moniker." Tai Yang mused. "Does he have a reason for his name, or is all else silence?"
Calculus is when math started making sense to me. Before then, it was just busywork. But, calculating areas, moments of inertia, acceleration, velocity, and all that good stuff? Finally, getting to use math for something.

Gets a little tedious once you're onto three dimensional integrals of multiple variables, but I still like it on the whole.
Also, looks like Reap called the humans being buddies, and presuming Rachel attaches to the group via Deja and Ninja Janitor via Abraham, it was very well called.
I keep telling everyone that Aram is one of the best most, reliable teachers in the school, and no one believes me.

Of course, unfortunately for me, Val has just established Ninja Janitor as a potential hugging subject for Aram.

No...? Aram uses diagrams, charts, and textbook examples for Sex-Ed. Cooking class is similar, except he occasionally eats a portion of food in class and moans like--you definitely want to have a bit of what he's having...!

Don't forget the movie...
Tai Yang

Tai Yang seemed to hesitate for a moment in confusion before reaching his hand out similarly. He did not take Abraham's hand, as he didn't know that was the next step, but would likely continue following along if Abraham continued to make the effort to teach him how to handshake. "And I am Tai Yang, it is joyous to meet you." Tai Yang tried to bow a little while maintaining his hand out... but it didn't quite work as intended.

Abraham might notice if he actually took Tai Yang's hand that it was quite warm.

As the conversation turned to Deja, he to turned his attention to that. "Indeed. I can hear an enemy approach in my most meditative states, but I cannot target their vital points. Do you have some sense of Ki sense that allows you to sense your opponents? Earlier you informed me of how you were able to sense a "tense wind" blowing. Is it like that?"
I said "likely".

I'm making a prediction, I may be wrong. That's what "likely" means. I'm making a prediction that Rachel's witch powers will likely have less direct combat applications than Val, by a lot. Time will tell.
