""Mmm.. Fury, I was going to ask if you knew about the first war between supernaturals and Dawn Slayers, but, that is a long discussion for another time." Tai Yang explained why he had asked about Fury's age.

"Ah, I see. By title, you mean, a descriptive name. A name that represents what you exceed all others at. Thank you for enlightening me." Tai Yang appreciated Deja explaining herself.

His terseness and wrap up of his questions was because they had now reached the Headmistresses office. Tai Yang stopped.

"To answer your question, the dormitories are straight that way... Er... Uh..." Tai Yang pointed, and then realized that said pointing was completely useless for one of his audience. "Abraham, if you could take Deja straight that way, then through the first building, there will be a path to two buildings that are mirror images. The left one is the girls dormitory and the boys is on the right. I must take my exit, my apologies."

Tai Yang entered Yui's office, noticing that it had a lot of people in it.
"Mmm... A falcon you say?" Zilant lowered his neck for Homura as he spoke. Allia noticed and made room as well. Then he continued. "I will have to ask to race sometime. Perhaps I shall ask that as my favor from you."

Allia remained silent for the moment not exactly understanding Suishō as she had only explained that the Academy was the best but not why. So, she remained silent while still working things out in her head to make sure she hadn't missed anything. It gave her a contemplative look.

Zilant responded to Homura's other implied question when he noticed Allia's silence. "Heh, I do not know where you wish to go first, the Academy or your destination. It matters not, we can decide on the way, it is the same direction for now."

If Homura came aboard, Zilant would lift off, but not quite begin leaving yet.
In quick summary, the intruder declared war, summoned some monsters then left. The students and Toaster, a vice principal who happens to be a toaster, defeated the monsters.

Then, you received a telepathic message from Yui asking if you'd come to her office for a staff meeting shortly.

In much longer summary:

Mark senses bad mojo from BAD MOJO, who continues to live up to his name by leaking so much bad mojo that every person on the continent can tell BAD MOJO is here. Mark turns into a hellhound scares people and then stares and growls at BAD MOJO

Vicki nearly hits Aram and then asks if Aurora is alright, then realizes, Aurora isn't if she's concked out being carried.

Aram is one of the few reliable teachers and says some things to calm down panicing students such as Vicki, then proceeds to be one of two people who explain why they can sense bad mojo from BAD MOJO by how BAD MOJO smells salty. He proceeds to avoid BAD MOJO in order to keep unconscious student Aurora safe.

Given that Ninja Janitor's SURPRISE JUMP ATTACK has taken so long that people have.. gotten out of bed several blocks away, gotten dressed, and walked to school, BAD MOJO leisurely snatches her out of there air by the neck after letting the debris bounce off him, with the nice effect of ruining his suit. Throws her aside after ominous posturings and past-speakings. BAD MOJO's past-speakings then reveal he was the original vice-principal and built the school!

Aurora goes super saiyan over.. Bad guy proximity? And proceeds to launch ineffective attacks. Man it's the android saga all over again. Super saiyan don't mean nothing anymore.

Ninja Janitor was KO'd.

Tai Yang explains that no, he doesn't have a mystical sense evil power. But he follows Yui and gets to the action anyway without needing it.

Val saves Ninja Janitor after quipping with BAD MOJO and tells Tai Yang to protect Abraham.

Key attempts to shut down supersaiyan fairy before she gets hurt by hurting her with a book to the back of the head.

Abraham retreats.

Tai Yang retreats with Abraham as ordered.

Deja shows up and hangs out with Yui, Aram, Key, Aurora, and Vicky.

Position update!

Alice shows up completely unaware of the danger with Tai Yang and Abraham and mocks them.

Rachel sensibly keeps all other students away from the danger area. Except that Deja slipped her grasp.

BAD MOJO declares war and summons four small lava dragons that fit nicely in the intersection.

Aurora uh.. I.. I'm really not sure.. Um... Help? She was established as unconscious but seems unaware of this fact.

Allen watches.

Page Four

Abraham readies himself and banters both with his imaginary* friend and Tai Yang.

*not actually imaginary

Deja takes out the dragon headed towards Yui's party by locating the heart of the golem's magic and stabbing it after cool flippy acrobatics and running along it and stuff.

Jinx watches, everything, and then searches and steals from all the abandoned rooms.

Tai Yang takes out the derp into a wall dragon, then throws one half of it into the dragon headed towards Abraham. Tai Yang asks whether Abraham wants to take it out or leave it to him.

Aram continues his attempts to make the non-combatants leave, but continues to be ignored, even as he takes injuries in the line of duty.

Toaster, a toaster, takes out a dragon with lightning. It's the one headed towards Mark.

Key continues to try and help Aram. So close to shipping these two.

Unimportant historian note because you're reading the history.

Abraham executes death by thousand cuts on dragon that Tai Yang made vulnerable for him.

Tai Yang compliments everyone who took out a dragon, other than himself.

Yui likes how her students performed, then calls a staff meeting. Confronts Jinx.

Val proceeds to sit on Ninja Janitor's comfy chest while watching everything, then takes the Ninja Janitor to the dorms. Dunno why.

Deja takes the compliment. Starts introductions with Abraham.

Abraham introduces self, takes compliment, compliments Deja.

Tai Yang fumbles with the concept of Hand Shaking, also compliments Deja in a complementary way to Abraham's compliment.

Deja explains she can sense auras and it has become sharper now that she goes without sight. Notices Fury, Abraham's until now imaginary* friend.

*not actually imaginary

Abraham introduces Fury.

Tai Yang is lead through the rest of the handshake procedure by Abraham. Continues compliment train and talk about fury.

Deja asks to touch Abraham's Fury. Also asks stuff about Tai Yang.

Aram delegated carrying Aurora to Allen now that he was injured.

Toaster fawns over Yui.

Key finally finishes taking Aurora to safety for her to recover. Also thinks about Aram. Now shipping these two.

Fifth Page

Jinx defensively tries to lie by omission to a mind reader.

Abraham gives Fury to Deja.

Deja talks to Fury. Also.. P-P-P-PENTAPOST!

Tai Yang answers Deja's questions. Reveals master's name is Ming Yue.

Yui lets Jinx slide. Summoned people to her office again. Attempts to get Toaster to toast a powdered doughnut.
Changed my bio to the winter version.

Everything looks good Gecko, although I think I better point out to you that the bridge was, in fact, fixed-- considering this is in the Adult Link Timeline and Link saved the carpenters so they were able to finish it before defeating Ganondorf. So I would try to come up with some other reason why her mother was unable to go to Gerudo Fortress. Maybe a really bad winter that made traveling really difficult? Or she was very sickly and on the brink of death. I dunno-- whatever you want to do. The bridge is and has been still there though.

Oh, kay. I was assuming the bridge going out and then being repaired was a fairly common thing, and that Vei's mum just caught it at a bad time. But I can totally change it to the winter one or something.
"Um.. Um.." Allia seemed a bit overwhelmed by the vehemence of Homura's sudden offer. "Ah.. No, that won't be necessary. Having more company for the flight I was already planning on making will be more than enough." Zilant seemed bemused at Homura's exuberance, and the reaction it caused in Allia, but also slightly disappointed that Homura showed no fear at all about riding a dragon. Ah well, I suppose it wouldn't do to scare the young girl anyway.. He "shrugged" with his neck, sending a roll along the arch of his neck like a tiny wave near its base.

"Of course, Shadan, it's the least I could do." Allia reacted with a smile to the word "Lady". That era of her life had been so long ago she could hardly remember it. But it was still there. "What is your eldest's name?" Allia took the letter without examining it carefully, so if the letter had the name on it, Allia missed it.

Allia mused a bit for a moment about the destination though "The Academy... Hmmm. From where I came from there wasn't such formal training.. Or no.. It was still formal, I should say it wasn't centralized. Each family taught their own children the ways of Chakra, or hired tutors. Is this Academy worth not seeing your children for such long periods of time? I've not been to one."

Zilant rumbled up, "Don't disagree with the ways of the land you are in. it is rude, Allia."

Allia backpedaled in her tone and words waving a hand nervously, "Ah, oh, I didn't mean it like that! I just don't know about it, that's all."
Name: Veitaru - Vei for short.

Age: 10

Race: Gerudo

Gender: Female

Appearance: Vei is obviously not a Hylian, possessing the round ears, prominent nose, brown skin, amber eyes, and red hair of a Gerudo. Said hair is kept in a high positioned ponytail, barely reaching past her shoulders. She has bangs swept to each side of her face in front, not all of her hair gathered into said ponytail. However, her clothes can make her pass for a Hylain, given the fact that few would be low enough to see her face when she raises the hood of her black cloak, given that she is some 4'1". Underneath the cloak, she is wearing tight dark blue clothes, a wrapped bodysuit. Silent, nonrestrictive. When she wishes to pass unnoticed, she wears the cloak, when she wishes to pass unsensed, she takes it off.

Theme Song:
Yeah, that's what I picked. She may be a thief now, but she's a hot-blooded one who'll probably grow up to be a far more directly confrontational warrior. If you survive the sneak attack, you're worthy to be faced head on.

Personality: Motivations: Vengeance, Justice. Boundaries: Honorable. Methodology: Klepto, Daredevil.

Backstory:
Vei is an Orphaned Gerudo Child, who was born in Hyrule proper. Her mother was prevented from returning to Gerudo Fortress when a particularly harsh winter set in. Being too pregnant to attempt a dangerous crossing, the mother gave birth in Hyrule. Her died before taking the girl to Gerudo Fortress, and thus the girl grew up in Kakariko, receiving only a name and her bloodline from her mother. Upon being old enough to toddle, she lived up to that bloodline and had the habit of stealing everything. At first, her attempts were cute, but as she got older she actually started getting good enough at it that, combined with the fact no like Gerudo, she got kicked out of the orphanage while still rather young.

Living as a petty thief, Vei had the good/bad fortune of trying to steal from one of the remaining Sheikah. That wasn't going to work. However, the child made a good enough shot at it that the Sheikah, being more politically minded than most, thought about the potential of raising the Gerudo child to be an infiltrator against her kin. The Sheikah, being far more skilled than the child, was likely the only one properly capable of raising the child, and did a fairly good job of it, the child now having morals. She'll still steal everything just to see if she can, but she'll give it back afterwards, because she wouldn't want to disappoint the man she now considers her Father. However, when the darkness crept into the land, this Sheikah was one of the first to attempt to stop it. No more was heard of him. But Vei was not going to wait in an orphanage again, and set off to find him.

Skills/Talents:

1. Sneaking (SS)
Vei is a thief, first and foremost.

2. Evading (FS)
This also makes her hard to catch.

3. Sleight of Hand (SS)
Did I mention Vei was sneaky? Well, she's got quite the array of "magic" tricks.

4. Parkour (SS)
Did I mention Vei was hard to catch? She's not just tricky up close, but is built like a gymnast.

5. Thrown - Small (FS)
Vei practiced throwing stones as a child, and her caretaker gave her training in Deku Nuts and similar objects. If it's a small, thrown object, she's probably pretty accurate with it. This is not lobbing a bomb or boomerang though, too big.

6. Eye for Danger (SS)
Vei's honed a careful eye for easy marks, shiny things, and danger. That doesn't mean she avoids it, oddly.

7. Cloak and Dagger (FS)
Vei was beginning to be trusted with and trained in the use of a light dagger.

Note: Due to upbringing in Kakariko, does not have normal Gerudo traits of desert expertise.

Goal(s): Find the Sheikah that she considers her Father, or if her fears are true, avenge him.

Inventory:
-5 deku nuts, a Sheikah's first and often most reliable tool.
-dagger
-bread
-cheese
-leather water skin

Wallet: 13
Here's my old Raven write-up.

The Ravens, as a scavenger group, cannot easily mass produce Kensai. Thus, almost all their Kensai are either stolen or custom made. There is a pseudo-feudal system where one proficient pilot will be supported by a cadre of scientists, mechanics, and other "vassals", in maintaining a top-notch Kensai, or as close as the research deprived Ravens can manage. As the Kensai Pilot brings in loot and other material from raids or scavenging trips, they expand their power base, potentially giving stolen Kensai to some of their more loyal and proficient vassals to make them "men-at-arms", so to speak. Extremely proficient Pilots will even give resources to Pilots who have run into hard times (perhaps because they don't have enough resources to maintain their Kensai) in order to strengthen their own position and have the other Pilots "owe them one".

While the Raven Kensai may not have particularly advanced technology, they have innovative uses of current technology due to the masses of inventors and mechanics aspiring to put any edge they can on their "lords" Kensai. There is no such thing as a “standard” Raven Kensai. Every one likely has some bizarre trick up its sleeve unless it is freshly captured. In other words, every Raven Kensai is a custom-Kensai. In other other words, every Raven Kensai is a custom-Kensai with crappy performance.

Raven Technology does have a primary weakness, armor. The metals that the Kensai have access too are generally metal that has been shot at a lot. While the Raven mechanics are highly adept at patching up said armor, they do not have the infrastructure to melt it down a full size armor plate and reforge it to original specs. Every patch job weakens the armor. Likewise, Ravens have to have mobility to run away from larger forces, so they must skimp on the amount on the armor. This, combined with the fact that every shot taken on your Kensai is something you will have to compensate for by capturing or salvaging more gear, means that Raven Kensai really, really don’t want to get hit. And so they have come up with many ways not to be hit.

Crystal Railgun(Weapon System): Many times the crystal of the main engine of any given Kensai salvaged by the Ravens is damaged. This means that the Ravens have access to a disproportionate ratio of small crystals to equip to subsystems on their Kensai. Against high-end mechs, energy based weapons are often not the way to beat them. Thus, a long range conventional weapon is necessary. Railguns fit the bill, and the Ravens have become adept at using the smaller salvaged crystals they have available to produce capacitors for extremely high performance railguns. These railguns generally fire once and then are done until recharged, but generally that’s all the Ravens want to do. Strike devastatingly with overwhelming force from beyond enemy range, then grab loot and run away before reinforcements arrive, all without ever being shot at. And if the strike is unsuccessful and the targets remain up, then run the fuck away before they can catch up thanks to your extreme engagement range. Try again tomorrow.

Crystal Chaff(Defensive System): It’s hard to dodge an Energy Projectile Weapon, and some of the special abilities Arlanian mechs are capable of using are ridiculously devastating. In the process of removing damaged bits of crystal and sometimes finding a crystal almost entirely destroyed, the Ravens have a supply of crystal dust that is generally no longer useful as a power source. But, with a few modifications, the Ravens have found it is useful as a kind of chaff against energy weapons and special abilities, as it tends to sponge up the energy, while also levitating in place to remain useful rather than just immediately falling. It’s also pretty darn useful for gumming up engines, slowing them down for long enough for the Ravens to get away. It also interferes with most targeting systems, including radar, ladar, infrared, and magic. If a group of Ravens decides to raid a location they think has energy weapons or any Arlanians, one of them having a few canisters of Crystal Chaff is almost a guarantee. Some of the most advanced cutting edge Raven systems are capable of dragging a cloud of Crystal Chaff around to maintain a shield for the Kensai. Obviously, this shield is not omni-directional, as otherwise the Kensai would interfere with its own engines and its use slows down the Raven while it drags the cloud.

Crystal Afterburner(Engine System): For reasons explained above, the Ravens have more damaged crystals than normal crystals, and one use they’ve found for them is as a sort of afterburner for their engines. Extremely bad fuel efficiency, but hey, when the other option is get torn apart by superior forces? Time to spend some cash and get out of there.
