Wow... People spent a lot of time attacking people for... things other people said?

I see three cases where people jumped on someone for something that another person was responsible for.

Eeesh..

Anyway, back on topic, I think I could do with something relatively straightforward that gets to the action quickly. Then we see whether it grows from there.

I say we have the peace treaty group trying to come together, we're all on the security team or the attackers, and begin. Defenders try to preserve the sanctity of the summit, attackers try and wreck it (whether by intrigue or by murderifying, or both), and we come up with the backstory of why this group is trying to interfere with the summit as we go.

We could get into bloody combat with dramatic entrances and philosophical musings while backroom intrigue takes place within the first ten posts, and that's something I think is worthy.
Wow, you guys have really streamlined the weekly rolls. Nicely done. Brings a tear of organizational joy to my eyes.

Good luck, Merry Christmas!
"Heh, I see you're a cautious one. Not willing to put all your eggs in one basket." Drevayne was already aboard the ship, a large chest at his side being his personal cargo. Then, leaning into his staff slightly with a curious tilt of the head, he asked "What port city have you got in mind that's in need of both goods and adventurers?"
I agree, Corsair.
"Righto, meet you at the ship. Unless, heh, you want me in the export house in case you fall afoul of splinters and sprained backs." Drevayne commented as he rose and prepared to exit.
"Heh, I'm just the hired healer, I don't care which adventure you take us on." Drevayne nodded, smiling. "Just give me the ship's name and I'll be there to pack my things before nightfall."

He gave a slight glance back to the bar. He intended to be out of here before that illusion wore off, at the very least.
~We are almost there. A small village, that has likely not heard yet of your escape. There, you will do as I have instructed, but feel free to move your hand on the brush as your dreams take you. Remember, that I cannot aid you until the deed is done. I must concentrate fully on preparing the energy for the spell that your paint will give form to.~

"Yes, Laozi, it will be done." Taote nodded, as the village came into view, and he entered.

Strange looks he was given, a rag tag wanderer coming to a small isolated village. Few would enter such a village as though it were a destination.

Taote unrolled the scroll of his ancestors. He had already committed the contents to his mind, to his dreams. The record of the past would be the birth of the future.

Ink was mixed with water, scooped from a tiny hand sized pool caught in a pockmarked rock. The brush was lightly dipped. The painting begun.

It was simple. Caligraphy. Handwriting in language the world did not remember.

A girl stopped, and looked. It was pretty! That gave her an idea. Something like that would make a fun design for dolly's dress. She had to go get her needle!

It began.

Ok, so, apart from the setting, what's your driving motivation for the story? What's the theme?

Is it an Adventure? I'm asking that first because I'm almost certain that's what it is. Presuming it is, what's the focus? Over the top combat where heroes slice open heads by the dozen, unleashing landscape altering spells? Gritty realism where down to earth characters try to survive using their wits and the environment to beat superior forces? Avoiding combat entirely by diplomatic and stealthy means? Will travel to exotic lands be important, or will trouble come to us as we centralize around an important location?

These are questions that I think have meaning, but are currently not addressed.
So basically, when you whip out the werewolf form, you're boss, but the rest of the time, you're a spare crewhand, if that.

Difficult to balance, but potentially rewarding.
Scary! I do not want to fight your army any time soon!
