At the mention of 'philosophic bullshit', one of the cards Caprice was playing with sprung forth with a loud snap, fluttering wildly out of her reach. Caprice's mouth shot open, but whatever noise sought to come forth was strangled. Her mouth closed and her face contorted through multiple expressions before settling on resignation.

She folded the cards away into her coat, reaching out far across the table to snatch the one that had gotten away. She struggled forward with her fingertips to grasp it, stomach fully resting atop the table and legs kicking. Upon seizing her apparently precious prize, she leaned back, setting her boots upon the table, crossed upon each other. "She's got a point." Caprice glumly said, tapping one of her heels in agitating, pouting in her seat.

Despite her many actions, Caprice certainly hadn't given anything even vaguely resembling a straight answer to the student president.

Caprice glided her chair a little down the table to Aria. "Caprice is my title in such a place as this." Caprice finally got around to answering Aria's question now that things had settled down a bit with some people distracting the president. Shuffling her cards once more, she turned to the person offering a 'hand of invitation'. "Hmm. You have an interesting negotiation tactic."

The cards now flipped between her hands, twirling as they went, revealing their faces one at a time. "Submit to my will..." The card passing showed Iona. "... or be smothered by it." Then Itsuko in turn. "Truly a timeless classic." Takara, snoozing away on a pillow in the card as in the Tower, danced on her fingertips, an extra spin for him. "Tell me," Caprice herself was next, passing quickly like an afterthought, " is it the craven or conniving that you seek in your school?" Rose and Kanbaru twisted together, two cards at once, like they were sliding about a pole, "Or perhaps both?" They snapped away suddenly, and no more cards for now came.

Caprice's smile did not leave her lips as she watched Aria's actions. Certainly anyone who gave candy to Takara couldn't be a bad person, that's something she herself would do. "Certainly age is just a number, I wouldn't expect you to be a day older than myself if not for your - refined speech patterns." She agreed with Aria's sentiment, though with a pause of perhaps ill-fortuned timing, if one was inclined to look for such things.

Caprice turned to the 'Student Council President' however, and finally gave her response. "As no doubt important as your offer is, I believe we have a prior appointment with Miss Itsuko to join her at a candy store, along with Takara here.... Ah and I see we're already here. Alright then. I suppose we'll have to reschedule for later." A bit too late it was, distracted by the fine fox ears on display. Caprice took herself a seat at the table with a sigh. Pulling forth a deck of cards, she began idly shuffling and snapping them from one hand to the other. Minor tricks to simply warm up the fingers.

It seemed she did not have any questions for the president.

Caprice had turned to look at the unusual oncoming traffic, and stepped to the side just in case it continued its course at them. This broke her handholding with Takara. The danger seemed temporary however, as it seemed Kanbaru had things handled.

"Ooh, a fox, how cute." Caprice smiled at one of the newest guests, clasping her hands together. It seemed the fox in question wanted Takara however, so Caprice stayed stepped to the side so as to not interrupt.

"Oh, not to worry, you're welcome." Caprice couldn't help but smile as Takara thanked her. It was a simple pleasure but certainly not one she was immune to. As she was grabbed by the hand though, her eyes widened in surprise and she found herself following Takara's force of personality.

"Rather, I think he's the one kidnapping us. I think this one's apparently skipped a few grades ahead." Caprice answered Itsuko's query as she was pulled along. "So, I think I understand what's going on now. We're in a mandatory crime period, in preparation for what is presumably some sort of crime competition between cities. And we're going to go get candy." Caprice mused, stroking the edge of her mask in thought for a moment.

"... No, I don't understand anything. Caprice frowned, apparently unsatisfied with her deduction.

"Well, it appears I've mastered the art of the ninja. How surprising." Caprice shrugged to herself as Takara managed to not notice her. As candies were mentioned, she flourished her hands, held betwixt her fingers were an array of candies, but with a flick they were gone again. "Perhaps the hunt makes the taste all the sweeter." Caprice mused. She decided to not try to interject herself into Takara's business again as a girl offered him a trip to a candy store.

"Are we allowed to be about if we don't commit any crimes? Oh, and... it's gone. Caprice tried to catch the robot's attention before it left, but it seemed to be finished with obliging children's requests for the day.

Black Cat

"Really? I've got basically no HP left." Black Cat stares with trepidation at the wide ranging battle. He finds a cabinet against a wall, shoving it a few inches out, and then wedges himself behind it to hide.

He taps at his interface, sending his Drone to skitter around the floor recharging everyone's ammo. At this point, everyone who could distract the zombies was on his team, unless they were particularly interested in searching behind a cabinet to kill a level 1 character. "Every group of these things seems to behave different... Maybe that streamer girl's thing has some hints?" Black Cat was confused at how the event worked, and decided to spend his time, perhaps a little on the late side, pulling up the internet for people's real time analysis of what was going on. Maybe someone who had an outside overview perspective had figured things out.

Caprice, at Lin's urging, swiped up Maria card from the table. Lin's words seemed to give her a moment's pause as she stayed still for a moment after, until they were once again in a new world.

"There are indeed quite a number of clocks, I will agree. If we chase those sirens, we'll probably encounter whatever passes for law here, I suppose?" Caprice didn't quite have a clear grasp of where to go in this world, but nonetheless glanced around, lifting herself up on a candy cane pole with a footrest for a higher vantage before stepping back to normal ground.

Takara would find himself presented with a fresh crisp steaming breakfast burrito, filled with eggs, hash browns, bacon, and peppers.
"Breakfast is served." Caprice nodded with a smile.

Caprice produced forth the donut from her pocket, glancing at it for a moment before shrugging and taking a bite. "I'll admit, it's a tempting offer, Cait. I always knew there was suffering out there, but seeing it myself left my spirits lower than I expected." Caprice spoke between bites as she consumed her donut, though never without carefully chewing and swallowing first. "It makes me wonder whether I'm quite cut out to it."

"Well, the cards hadn't hit the table yet, but we were in a bit of a tight spot when we left." Caprice answered Akiko, bringing up a hand and flicking out a full poker hand of cards into it, before slowly squeezing it down to only one card in her hand. "Absynthe Blue, a lovely name..." A smile tugged up at the ends of Caprice's cheeks for a moment, before she tossed the card through the air, looking away to take a drink. The card lazily drifted to and fro until it came softly to rest by Lin's glass face up. "Lin, I think this card would suit your style. Help yourself to it, if you like."

When Rose sat down next to Lin and Caprice, Caprice's eyes flitted over the pirate impassively for a moment. "Caprice is my stagename, a magician of unusual tastes." Caprice smirked, but her eyes did not show particular interest in Rose, and she looked away as soon as she finished introducing herself, and Rose went on to deal with Cait.

"Best of luck, Sherry, let us know if you need anything." Caprice raised her glass to Sherry's exit before taking another drink. As Clair entered and ordered, Caprice paid more attention to the drink Clair ordered than Clair herself, and seemed to nod approvingly. Or perhaps as response to the introduction, or both.

"At this rate of introductions, perhaps I should invest in business cards." Caprice paid no heed to Maria's card, instead continuing with her drink.
