Might be a few days before I can reply to everyone, I apologize. Moving 250 miles for an internship this weekend and I start tomorrow, but I'll get to everyone ASAP!

Why must autocorrect ruin things in a way that is not even correct?

"And what if I were?" Kasai smirked back at Avani. She nodded as she confirmed with a look over the motorcycle that all of their things somehow fit on there without tipping it over one way or the other. With the awakening roar of the engine, Kasai drew in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She climbed onto the bike behind Avani, careful as well to not knock anything loose. Her arms wrapped around her girlfriend's waist as they began on their way down the road.

As they drove down streets and passed by buildings, Kasai had a feeling of nostalgia for times of the past. Her entire life was in these streets and alleyways. From her young beginnings as a pro-bender fighting in alleys with her companions, to her days spent in uniform patrolling the streets to keep the citizens of Republic City safe. Now, she was leaving and didn't know when, or if, she would be coming back.

The wind blew through her hair as the city started to thin out around them. The thick concrete jungle was now disappearing behind them as open road and terrain rolled out for miles ahead. The view of the road ahead helped to push away any sad feelings of abandonment that Kasai was holding onto as they exited the city. Now, she could feel the sense of freedom and adventure building around them.

It was exciting, venturing to see new lands and experience essentially new cultures. Maybe eventually they would make it all the way over to the Fire Nation and she could see for herself how firebenders really live. She had heard of all of the festivals and how grand they were. Sure, there were similar celebrations in the city put on by the local population, but she had a feeling that the ones in the homeland were extravagant. That was a long way off though, if it would ever even happen. The world was a large place, and considering they were starting in the Earth Kingdom, they already had enough to try to see and experience in the worlds largest kingdom. Kasai knew that Ba Sing Se held a special place for Avani, so she was excited to get there and see where her lover came from.

All of these thoughts raced through Kasai's mind as they continued on their trip. She figured they wouldn't go a very long time without stopping to take a break from the not so comfortable seating on the motorcycle. Maybe she just needed to get used to the posture on the thing. For now, she decided to stop letting her mind race about the trivial things and enjoy the ride, her arms tightening around Avani's waist slightly more as she pressed herself closer to her.
Alas, I have posted as well. Test week tends to suck my time away with studying
"Aw, c'mon Ri. What's the fun of a camping trip if there isn't any awkward moaning in the wee hours of the night?" Kassey laughed as she teased Riley with Tala. When Carlos chimed in, Kass shrugged her shoulders, "Sorry bro, you heard the girlie. Our tent is all booked up, but maybe you can find a squirrel to bunk with." Then, the two girls were walking off for a bit more private air. Kassey was pretty sure she could guess what Riley was concerned with, but her thoughts were cut short when she heard Ms. Gutierrez yelling over the phone at Carlos.

Kassey had to stifle her laugh or risk an outburst. It didn't require two semesters of Spanish to understand what she was yelling at him, and it was quite comical. "Boy, you better make sure there isn't any evidence left by the time the trip is over. Then you can deny all involvement." Kassey flashed a mischievous grin before heading back to her tent to put her bathing suit on underneath her muscle tee and shorts. Ya never knew when someone was going to decide to pick you up and throw you in the lake, so it was best to be prepared.

Kassey reemerged and looked around, wondering when the party was going to get started. Walking over to the cooler, she grabbed a bottle of water and then took a seat on one of the logs that she had dragged over to the fire pit. "How bout when the adventure squad gets back from their treacherous journey of firewood gathering we start having some fun, eh? You guys know I can't sit still very long." Blasted ADHD, even with the chill pills, Kassey was still a usually energetic and upbeat girl. Usually she had sports to use all her energy up, but she didn't really think any of her friends were up for 90 minutes of full contact soccer, so she'd have to go for a run soon if all else fails.
I'll get a post up tomorrow, had a busy weekend.

I'll have one up Tuesday after lunch for sure. Spent today cramming for a entomology exam in the morning :P
Kassey was glad they were able to round up the entire gang before heading out to the lake for their little piece of sanctuary that they got each year. It seemed the trip took on a deeper meaning each time they went, becoming a tradition now to share with new friends and old alike. The drive wasn't a long one, so there wasn't much use in getting comfortable for the ride. Not like there was much room to do that anyways, as the older they got, the less they seemed to all fit in the trusted recreational vehicle.

As they arrived, Kassey shuffled out with the others and retrieved her things from the side compartment. Following in action, she got her gear out and began to set up her tent before doing anything else. It was a decent sized, durable tent that she had invested in after her old crappy tent caved in on her two years prior. Nodding after Cassandra had mentioned the extra space, Kassey pointed towards her tent as well.

"Same here, I've got room for a person or two if we need it. I brought an extra sleeping bag too just in case anyone forgot." She tossed her things into the tent and unrolled her sleeping bag on one side, then emerged again to see each of her friends performing various tasks. A laugh escaped her when she saw Billy strike a pose with his hatchet, "Don't hurt yourself kid, we don't need to take a trip to the ER," she replied jokingly.

She decided to try and find some more suitable seating arrangements for the bonfire. Usually there were several large logs around the fire pit to sit on, but it seemed someone had messed up the area since the last time they were here. Spotting some perfectly sized down trees near the wood's edge, she set out to drag them back. After hauling in a couple of logs, and breaking a little sweat, she concluded that combined with those who brought lawn chairs and the large rocks surrounding the pit, they'd now have plenty of places to find a seat and gather around.

"There we are. Certainly not a sofa from Ikea, but it'll do."
I'll try to get a post up after work tonight, if not I'll have one up no later than tomorrow afternoon

If the Avengers say you should do it, so it should be done. More specifically, if Chris Hemsworth tells you to do something, you drop everything and do what he says.
