I cannot - for the life of me - manage to manually turn off my PS4 by pressing the button. My damn cat, however, manages to hit it every single she even bypasses the console.

My kids found an old Barbie TV from when I was a kid - you know, the kind that was huge and boxy with a tiny-ass screen - and my daughter said "No, mommy, TV's are flat." Another parenting fail.

My kids don't understand what a (computer) mouse is or how to use it. They keep poking and swiping at my monitor. I have failed as a parent.

I had a CS mostly done, then decided against the way I was going and decided to redo it completely. I will have a CS up in a day or two, at most.
Well... I guess it's because I, in some odd way, mesh all of the Haruka's I've played together.
The first Haruka had "The Most Awkward Love Confession Ever" with a character who was more or less a Hyuuga version of Sasuke. Seriously, it was terrible.
She also originally learned how to use enchanced streght from Sakura.
There's some more stuff, but it's really weird to explain without sounding like I've got multiple personalities xD

Haruka actually got the same nickname as Naruto (The Knucklehead Ninja) in the story she was originally from, so yeah, she shares some traits wiuth him, too :P

Pasta, you wanna do a Co-Op? ^_^
Hi. I just returned from the doctor.
I guess I got back right in time, huh?

I'm really sorry for suddenly just disappearing and I wish I could say that it won't happen again, but it most certainly will. In fact, I'll be gone for three days next week (Wednesday morning to late friday afternoon) for observation and I'll be gone for about a week sometime next month for surgery. After that, everything should be back to normal, though.
By that time, I'll make sure that you guys can just go on without me for a little while, though :)

As for the question to get the OOC talk going;
I'm going to have to say that Haruka is the most like Sakura, as much as I dislike that fact. She has a lot in common with Rock Lee, too, I guess, but she has far more in common with Sakura. Part 1 Sakura, at least.
She's the least like... I dunno... Hinata, maybe? Neji? It's hard to say. There's a lot of characters and a lot of them that she has little to nothing in common with...
Haruka had been walking around, stretching her legs a bit as she waited for her damn replacement to show up. The morning air was still damn with dew and she wished, not for the first time in her life, that she could actually do something with her water-based chakra other than smash boulders and uproot trees. What was the point in having a chakra nature when her chakra was useless for nature transformations, anyways? It was just sadistic, having her take the test for no reason other than curiosity.
Kenta had always been a bit of a sadist, she thought to herself with a small, nostalgic smile. He was not sadistic in the wants-to-hurt-people-for-fun, sort of way; that had always been more of Suzaku's forte, even if the golden-eyed boy had preferred to do it verbally over physically. Kenta was more discreet with his sadism; human-experiments kind of sadistic. Luckily, he never really acted on those impulses. It had to be hard, being so kind-hearted and yet having the urges to cut people open to understand what was going on inside of them.
She shook the thoughts of her old teammates out of her head, sighing a bit at the uselessness of those memories. Kenta was an instructor now; he taught medical ninja just like himself. Suzaku was long gone from the village and she probably would not ever see him again, even if she tried to find him. He had always been good at hiding things.
The worst part about her faulty chakra, she mused silently as she flexed and clenched her fingers a few times, was the fact that it was not really faulty. It worked fine and there was plenty of it. She could sort of walk on water and all that. She was just too stupid to mold the chakra and form it into techniques. Her chakra just would not answer to her.

She was startled out of her slightly depressing train of thought when someone spoke to her. Heck, she was a shitty ninja; she had not noticed the young man walking down the path right next to her. She probably would not even have noticed a full army sneaking in through the “gate” once she was in thinking mode. She was glad she rarely thought.
The boy told her his ID number and all; very professional. She almost wanted to snort at him. After all, she had been sound asleep just a little while ago. Nonetheless, she checked her pad of ninja-on-mission to make sure his number checked out and looked over the papers she offered him, like a good little guard. Everything was good.
His attempt at socialization was a bit awkward, at best, and she vaguely wondered why he bothered with small-talk if it was not really his thing, but decided to let it slide.

“I've had a delivery of sugar come through; that's the most action I've seen for the full three days I've been stationed,” she responded dully, lazily offering the young man a crooked smile, “Luckily, my replacement should be here any minute now,” she added, looking back at the “gate” over her shoulder to confirm that he had not shown up.
“You have a good mission?” she offered as counter-small-talk. She had already been able to tell from the papers that his patrol had been just as boring as her guard duty, but it was polite to ask anyways, right?
Sorry, sorry. I really did mean to put that post up like I said I would, but my own computer (where the post is saved) is upstairs and I have been put on bedrest for at least a week (possibly more if my doctor thinks so by the end of the week), which made my parents bring my bed downstairs, in the living room, so I wouldn't have to feel left out.
I'll sneak up there and post sometime today, hopefully.

... Rondo, my man, are you out there?
I just had a little trip to the hospital. I'm not dying or anything, but I am not totally fine, either. I just need a day or two of rest and I should be feeling better.
I just thought it was best to let you guys know.

.:EDIT:.
I do have a post that I wrote before (the same day as I read Pasta's post) if you want to have something to work with. I'll post it either tonight or tomorrow morning.

that's a lot of degrees, I'm impressed. And hey, you have plenty of time to role-play ;D

It's not as impressive as it sounds; I get to skip most the schooling and stuff because of my IQ. I took three months of the danish equivalent to college, got bored of it and decided to just take my exams/tests and have it over with. I wouldn't be allowed to do that if it weren't for my amazing brains.

Yup, I have all the time I need. Which is also why I am considering starting another RP; a X-Men-esque sort of thing...

.:EDIT:.
Someone post already... Patience is a virtue and I am no saint :p (jk)
I agree with you, actually... I rarely agree with people (Halvtand is my witness). The resurrections/evil guys gone good/random powerups seem to be something tha generally sneaks its way into almost all manga/animé. Especially the random powerups. Especially in animé. It can really kill a good basic idea.

In Denmark, school is free. We can take and all the education(s) we want and get paid while we do it with something called Educational Support. It's not a shitload of money, but it's enough to pay rent and have food every day (if you live in a tiny studio apartment and eat nothing but oatmeal). You even get paid if you still live with your parents, just not nearly as much (half, in fact) and get paid more if you have kids and stuff... The Danish wellfare system is awesome.
I have a lot of educations (we need educations to do pretty much anything (even to clean)). I've obviously got my chef/pastry chef/butcher thing, you already know that. I also told you about my courses in art. I've got a degree in English, Danish, Physics and Biology. I took some classes in working with wood (*insert perveted joke here*) and some in working with metal... That's pretty much it.
However, I do not work and haven't since I was a teenager (15-16). Not really, anyways. The State has decided that I am not well enough to hold a job, so they pay me for doing nothing. I can't handle just being at home all the time without going stir crazy, though, so I do get some "temp service" jobs every now and then. Currently, I have been at home doing nothing for five months.

I read the Naruto Manga at this point just to see how it ends. The whole story has gone down the rabbit hole and decided wonderland wasn't crazy enough. I love cooking :) Though typically I make more pastas/italian dishes.

I'll just ignore the diss on the Naruto series, because I totally agree with it.
(In most cases, the dudes who like Naruto like it for the universe and the chicks like it for the characters... I'm pretty sure I have some chemical imbalance or something :P )

I cook pastas and italian dishes, too (I made Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner tonight 8D ). I cook all the time; I love cooking and I love learning new recepies. I like asian cusine most, for the unique flavoring, but I rarely cook it. Danish foods are all super fatty, super tasty and easy to cook, so I have lots of fun making my own twists on it.
I'll bake anything that sounds tasty, though. I absolutely love baking. I bake white bread every week and at cakes at least once a month :)
I'm a trained chef, pastry chef and butcher, with several courses in nutrition, diets and stuff like that... I don't work in the that field, though. In fact, I don't work at all...

haha oh man, in Logic the bass was peaking, but in the upload you can barely hear it at all >< I'll have to work on that next tune. Meanwhile I'll get to work on your themes.

I can't hear the bass, anyways... at all... ever (faulty hearing; can't hear low frequencies), so I don't mind at all :p
