I'm just your average New Yorker. A guy who thinks he can do more than he ought.

He's a very skillfully written Will Graham-esque character.

You're both accepted btw. I'll put the links up in the cs' soon.

Has anyone else been having trouble getting on?
Congrats, Byrd. Really great cs! Can't wait to see you in action.
Excellent cs, really splendid. I know how tough these cs can be, especially when you put a lot of thought into it, which I can tell you did.

The only issue I have with it is that the FBI headquarters will be in DC, in the J Edgar building there.

That's it though
Oh, yeah, that was just meant to remind me that that could change if anyone decides they want to play Fisk and don't want me meddling in their affairs. You can ignore it.

Hmmm Would a Will Graham-like character be acceptable? Specifically someone who is incredibly intelligent, incredibly insightful into the criminal mind, but because of those, he is rather socially incompetent and mentally malleable to the killer?

That would be an acceptable archetype to go off of, certainly. But I don't want Will Graham, and I don't want the same thing that has played out in Hannibal's career to just be rehashed here. I expect that this plot will be quite different while still showing a respectful similarity.

That being said, and as long as you understand those guidelines, I give you my blessing to create a criminal pathologist with both extreme skill and mental damage (or whatever kind of person you'd like to create).
And unfortunately I said that I'd have to put the killer on ice. I have some c very specific things that I want in his posts. Your character could be a patient of the killer. I believe that the killer is going to have a psychological tendency to influence those around him, to transform them. He is going to have a pathological need to create chaos. So anyone who he deems worthy of his Becoming, would essentially be persuaded into insanity.

I'd be happy to work something out with you if you feel like this is something you'd like to do.

I think that would work well. :)We can make it that she submitted an application, and my first post can be her getting the news that she got called in to a city a ways away for this case. She can be telling her mother about it or reading a letter.

I'll leave those details to you.

I'd like to wait for some other interest maybe before starting brainstorming. I'll try to get a cs up tomorrow, we'll see UHF we have any responses by the end if the day.

Oh crap I completely forgot about that...I didn't really mention what city she is in, so she doesn't have to be in the same place as where the murderers happen, correct? She can be recruited by the FBI(I like that idea) and called in somewhere else! ;)Your call.

Certainly. You can place her wherever you see fit and I'll have an npc approach her for a job. Here's the thing, in order to join the FBI, you usually have to want to. Do you think she might have sent in an app for consideration?

We can also do a collaborative post for the initial meeting.
Nice work, Aidilein, very nice cs.

I mentioned in the interest check that I didn't want local cops, but you've developed such a great, flexible character I don't see any reason to reject her. What do you say to her being recruited by the FBI?
