I'm just your average New Yorker. A guy who thinks he can do more than he ought.

I have been RPing for several years now, and I feel like I've learned a lot here. I have always been attracted to stories that have worlds that feel alive, and characters that are salient and true. I've been trying to keep myself busy on here but the activity on the site, as of late, seems rather slow. So I am looking for a 1x1 partner, someone who can create a living world with me, one who is full of ideas and imagination, as well as skill. I might be asking for a lot, but I think it'll be worth it.

As for genres, I like a lot of different things. I don't mind super hero fandoms or things relating to video games, but I am more interested in creating an original world. I really like Sci-fi, fantasy, post-apocalyptic, noir, and mystery RP's as well. I'd like to have really solid brainstorming sessions about the world that we create together. I also would be interested in maybe thinking up a group RP with whoever I end up partnering with. But that would be after we understood eachother better and had a better grasp of how we work together.

I'm really all about collaboration, so if you are too, you should hit me up.

One last note, and this one's important: I am not particularly interested in romances, so I don't care what your gender is, or the gender of the character(s) you play. If romance happens, which it might, I want it to be natural, real, and meaningful. Otherwise, there is no reason to do it.

Interested. Are there potentially people who specialize in saa in the guard, perhaps a small group of "mages" who assist in training and in advancing the art of using it? If allowed, my character would still be a knight.

"Such splendid work. Truly splendid. Hold on, just hold on a moment. Please put down the gun, don't you remember me? That's right, me. I am here to congratulate you, of course. Of all the projects I've undertaken, of all the metamorphosis' I have supervised, you are the most radiant. You understand the issue with radiance, don't you? It draws in too many moths. The flittering, fluttering wings of the FBI are flapping far too near your brilliance. Do not fret, my dear, take a hint from the sun; you must only be so bright that they never think to fly near you again."
The foundation for this RP is based upon the multitude of stories concerning Hannibal Lecter. It is expected that when you show interest here that you have some kind of familiarization with the mythos. If you do not, that is also fine, as long as you let me know before you submit a character. I will try my best to provide an in-depth analysis, from my prospective, of the Chesapeake Ripper, as he is sometimes known.

Here's where things get a little complicated, I do not believe this story will follow the story of Lecter, but rather, someone who was infinitely inspired by him. This person will likely have characteristics similar to Lecter and will commit similar acts, but will be totally independent. This should be a character driven roleplay as the plot will be very open to interpretation, This serial killer will probably be controlled by myself, unless someone feels like they are up to the challenge, and are willing to work with me very closely. The PC will vary greatly (I hope). They can be anything from a psychologist working with the FBI, to a survivor of the killer. Due to the nature of the investigation, and the variability of the location of the crimes, there might not be any "local cop" characters, but rather FBI agents, or even trainees.

As you might be able to tell, the plot is not set in stone, the main characters are not fleshed out, and the GM is a little nervous ;)

With that in mind, I am expecting a few things from those who apply: An advanced understanding of writing and grammar, a sense of dedication and honesty, and an interest in telling interesting stories with other like-minded people. Once I receive more interests than I think I need, I will put up an OOC.

Please feel free to ask questions and provide feedback. This is still very much in development.

(There is an "advanced" interest check up currently as well. I wanted to garner as much interest as possible sans structured segregation)
That is a very interesting idea. Thank you for your interest.

Feel free to message me with any questions or ideas, you can post them here as well.

On second thought, count me out. Life is getting a little busy.
