^ The precipitating event of this war was the Austrian and Ottoman suppression of the nationalist efforts of their citizens and neighbours, and their opposition of movements towards national unity abroad. I should know, I'm writing the treaty that declares it such.

Sooooo much shit talking, I wounder how long it will take for the Royal and French Navies to roll into Amsterdam and set it ablaze or the Russians and Prussians to have Vienna a blaze on the march to Constantinople. All I can say is the war update has me quite excited:D

I don't think either faction intends on burning down the opposing faction's capital cities.

I guess we decided the name wasn't such a big deal. The Axis Powers was a better name than the Allied Forces but that didn't save them.

Let's just hope you put more effort into your war strategy than your alliance's name, or Outcast will be punishing the coalition powers for winning too absolutely.
The common purpose of the Eight Coalition was to oppose the Treaty of Constantinople. It very much falls under the definition of a coalition, and is much more creative a name than the generic "The Allies".

Internet speak is indeed a dialect, you butt mongler.

In that case, the next time I use 'lol' verbally and say '.gif' in the same sentence, I'll make sure to pronounce it wrong intentionally.

I know how those letters work, you tool. Either one can be correct. On the one hand, there's the fact that the inventor decided it to be one way. On the other, the other pronunciation has been adopted into the dialect by a huge amount of people. If people pronounce something a specific way or have a different meaning for a word, and it gets added into the dialect by massive usage, it becomes correct for that dialect.

What dialect adopted the incorrect mispronunciation of .gif? Internetese?

Listen here cunts. Most people pronounce it as gif (gift). Plus it's a lot less stupid to call it that. I don't have a fucking peanut butter brand releasing his powerful hado as my avatar. I have a gif.I don't give a fuck if the inventor of it said it like an idiot. At the very least, there shouldn't be anyone telling anyone else that they are pronouncing it wrong. Fuck off to the entire debate.

You're acting like there's no standard for that pronunciation. Multiple words are already pronounced with the 'j' sound despite being spelled with a 'g'. Should we overhaul the English vocabulary and alter all of our spellings to more accurately represent pronunciations? No, we shouldn't, because THAT we be idiotic—very much unlike pronouncing the file format .gif in the objectively correct fashion.

That's almost as bad as Jiff

Jiff is the objectively correct pronunciation. Ever had gin, Sole?

Not sure if there's an official name for either alliance, so I'm going to call the Prussia-Russia-Italy-Netherlands-Greece-Spain alliance PRINGS, and the French-Austria-British-Ottoman alliance FABO.

The Eighth Coalition consists of the Netherlands, Prussia, most of the German states, Russia, and the Mediterranean Pact (Spain, Italy and Greece). "The Allies" is the other side.
First the Ottomans sent paper ships at me, and now they've resorted to just throwing literal pieces of paper.
