@everyone, I'll be starting the rp to sometime tomorrow, but there's no rush to get a character created and accepted.

As he said some of these heroes could be such hard cases, no wonder so many of them had such miserable lives.

Because I would prefer if it did not" Simon said to Leonardo as he made five sour-belts appear in his hand and he ate them. He was not one for being extremely serious which was the kind of vibe he was getting from this turtle man. Seriousness was more for anti heroes and not goofballs like him. He was a goof and proud of it.

I'll join, I'm going to go for a pulp style hero since I love pulp fiction magazines
Candy King hears people introduce themselves using the real names and he decides to do the same.
"Well since we seem comfortable with telling each other our names, my real name is Simon Strange" he said to them with a smile. he then saw Leonardo take off some weird device and the change into a what looked like a humanoid turtle.
"Holy Candy canes, you're a giant turtle with samurai swords, that's so cool" Simon said surprised look on his face

I had the same problems as well, luckily everything seems fine now
Before Simon heard any reply from the heroes already in the room, he saw two more people come in and turned around to greet them.
"Hello, the name's Candy King, and making candy and screwing around with criminals is my thing" he said as he made a large gummy-worm appear and wrap around his upper torso like a snake. He was excited to be working with other heroes it would give him a chance to go after more high profile criminals.

I really hope we get to have a action scene like this
Simon was sucking on a lollipop as he walked around looking for the place where the other heroes were suppose to be. He was turned around a bit since he hadn't really walked around this part of the city and he hadn't really been given the address to write so he couldn't google maps the place.
"For a secret meeting place, it sure is good because I can't find it" he said to himself and continued walking getting several stares from passersby thanks to him being in costume. Simon guessed that he wasn't very well known in this part of town, which made since he spent most crime fighting time taking down criminals in the Bronx and Hell Kitchen neighborhood of the city.
He eventually found a building that looked promising and he entered it. The place seemed dark and looked empty and he wondered if this was the right place, but he decided to have a look around. After a couple of minutes of searching, he heard voices and guessed that it was the other heroes. He walked towards the sound of the voices and came to a room with three other people inside it. He could see that they were wearing costumes and guessed that they had to be the heroes he was looking for.
"Hi, am I late? Sorry but I had trouble finding this place and I had to stop a robbery along the way" he said as he sucked on his lollipop.
"For a secret meeting place, it sure is good because I can't find it" he said to himself and continued walking getting several stares from passersby thanks to him being in costume.
