"Please..."

Desperation filled Vince's eyes as the boy glanced at him, then hurried away. He had to be getting help. He wasn't just gonna let someone die...right? Vince to push away the thought of being left for dead as a someone made their way towards him.

He eyed the stranger carefully. A coat covered most of their features and made them look shifty. Had it been any other day, Vince would've avoided this person all together. You couldn't trust anyone on these streets. But it wasn't any other day. Vince was in pain and needed help

"Um... are you okay? There's a clinic quite close to here. Can you walk?" they asked. Their voice held a feminine lilt.

"I've been better," he responded weakly. He groaned as the ache in his side grew. "Walking is out of the question..." His lips formed a taut line as he recalled attempting to walk away earlier. He had barely gotten five feet from where he was beaten before collapsing.
If everyone agrees to, we can start.
Schutzstaffel - Accepted!

He has taken arrows to the limbs.

I would've thought that he used to be an adventurer. ;)
*instantly shot, ripped apart, and burned for awful joke*

Vince groaned. His black eye was throbbing and, though he wasn't a medical expert, he was sure that a couple of ribs had been broken. Only adding to the pain was his empty stomach. He hadn't eaten in a weak and Vince felt like he was dying.

The dark haired man lay slumped against the wall of the alleyway, too weak to move. It was just his luck that he had chosen a gang member to try to rob. Just what was he thinking! It didn't help that the gangster's friends were just around the corner. They had given Vince quite the beating. If it wasn't for the sound of police sirens making the gangsters run, then they would've surely killed him.

He looked around. Maybe someone could help him? Yeah right...no one was gonna help a bum like him. At least he could try. A boy sitting in the curb caught Vince's attention. "H-hey..." he managed to call out. "Kid..."
Shaun's anxiety eased up as responses filled the room. Thank God he wasn't the only one.

Shaun's legs moved almost robotically as he forced visit away from the lobby and into the second elevator. He hated to leave such a beautiful room. There'll be more to come, he silently reminded himself as he remembered the rest of the hotel's rooms.

His mind wandered as he followed the group. Thoughts and scenarios, mainly about what had happened in the past and what would happen in the investigation, filled his head. It was only until they reached the room that he crash landed back to reality.

He nodded as information was given about the ghosts. Some he knew about, others not so much. Shaun made a quick mental note to check on their history before the fun truly began. He smirked as they told of the new violent ghost. Oh yeah. This was definitely going to be a fun night.

As Karen and George left, Shaun plopped down in the nearest bed.

"So how excited are y'all?"

"I'm so hyped that I feel like I'm going to puke," Shaun replied in joking tone.
Name: Riley Kalen

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Appearance: Riley is 5'3". A pair of cold dark brown, almost black eyes sit behind a pair of glasses. Her hair is cut into a pixie cut. Despite her young age, hints of grey hairs hide among her black hair. She tends to dress like she's going to some important meeting.

Personality: She's a pretty Cold and Practical
person. Despite that, she's also Understanding, Loves Adventure, and Protective of her friends. She tends to get Stressed over a lot of things easily. Also, she Loves Cats despite never owning one herself.

Post Example:

The crickets chirped a sweet lullaby to the creatures asleep. Branches danced with the breeze, rustling with every step. The half moon sat in the sky like a sleepy, half lidded eye. The night was utterly peaceful.

Just how Riley liked it.

The young woman leaned against her balcony railing, eyes closed in silent meditation. She wanted to relish this moment, this peace, before returning to the hustle and bustle of long work hours, constant paperwork, and paying the bills. A ragged sigh escaped her mouth. When did her life get so boring?

When I grew up, that's when.

Riley scowled to herself slightly as the thought flashed in her mind. Growing up. God, how she longed to grow up when she was little. Always wanting to be an adult and do 'grown-up things'. Now here she was living the dream...yeah, right.

Right now she wanted the opposite. She wanted to be dreaming about magic kingdoms instead of worrying about paperwork. Being queen of the world instead of sitting in traffic jams Pretending to be a superhero fighting bandits instead of talking about stupid meetings. Right now, all Riley wanted was an adventure.

But that was just wishful thinking. Her path was already laid out before her, and there was no going back. Riley sighed and walks back into her apartment. Maybe one day she would get her adventure.

And maybe that one day would be tomorrow.

Oh dear... It appears that I threw interest down for one too many RPs, and as I already have a character and everything for the other one, so I'm going to be dropping this until further notice. Sorry :/

It's alright!
