Hey Slint, I don't mean to sound like a jerk but would it be possible to just create a second thread with the same plot? We all love the plot you made here and kinda developed our own stories based around it. I'm afraid that your plot (from what you pm'd me) might just get lost in the thread count since it won't necessarily be a priority with any of the other characters on here. (Except maybe mine)

Perhaps a copy thread can be made by you in which I would definately be making another character for and I'm sure I can say the same for almost everyone else on this game. (WE LOVE YOUR STUFF) It would make the stories less cluttered as well and help follow your main plot better. Plus we could cross reference things from this thread and use them in the other game. (Like different points of view of the same universe) exe Your new character watching Deons fight with James or using the Physical therapy center that's Rin's lab, etc.

Ok so here's the new update for Rin. Wanted to give you guys a quick preview of what is gonna happen to her. Let me know what you think. ;

Old Rin

Name: Rin Emris Stone
Age: 26
Height: 5' 8"

Occupation: Biological cybernetic prosthetic specialist and lead researcher in Biomechanical nanomachines.

District: 1

Gear: Internal reprogrammable Nanomachines.

Background: Rin is you textbook nerd mixed with that hot neighbor you always watched out your window when nobody was around. She's smart, charismatic, caring and smart. All these things can be easily looked up in any current event blog. That being said, Rin also deals with an obcessive compulsive disorder, insomnia and adopted a Martyr like personality. She single handedly created the first "re-programmable" and reproducing nanomachine by using her very own body as a test tube. This was necessary due to being diagnosed with type three cancer. The doctors gave her an estimate of six months, four years ago. The nanomachine constantly fight the everchanging biological structure with the help of her consistant research and upkeep of the cancer but lately, those original nanomachines have been slowing down in its reproduction rate. If she can't figure out the reason soon, it will be too late.

Rin BETA

Name: Nyx
Age: 1 day old
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 155 lbs

Appearance:

Rin.... changed when she injected herself with the Betanano serum containing her "new and improved" Nanomachines designed to find the flaws in her cells and rebuild them stronger. (Ideally for mutated cancer cells in which get broken down and rebuilt) Something ideally went wrong. When she injected herself with the nanomachines, she didn't expect them to rebuild the old machines that her body was naturally breaking down but since the old machines had traces of the cancer, The Betanano machines started to repair the Alphas that broke down and "fixed" their programming. Now Alpha and Beta flowing through her body have begun rebuilding her from the inside out. Sarching for any "weakness" in which they break down and rebuild, improving the system. Slowly the millions of nanomachines tore Rin apart from the inside out and rebuilt her.

Mutation: Her internal organs, muscle structure, bone structure, and nervous system has been "Reconfigured" Everything was more dense. Her cells reconfigured to fit better almost like a three dimensional game of tetris. Her Skin is as tough as kevlar and her muscle fibers braided and reconditioned. Her bone structure overgrown to protect vital areas like the chest and back of the neck. Nervous system rebuilt and unlike regular nerve endings that eventually die, hers grow back.

The only setback is the nanomachines got to her brain. Destroying and rebuilding brain cells completely shattered her memory. Fragments of who she used to be lay dormant in her mind like a book with the pages scattered over the floor. Core instincts seem to be increased substantially. She no longer knows the difference between what's good and what's bad... only what she wants.

(Meanwhile back in the back office with Rin and Jack)

"Wow! look at that!"

"I know amazing right?"

"its impressive, but why is it growing so fast?"

"That happens sometimes, im still learning to control it."

Jack leaned away from the eyepiece. "So these nanomachines are inside you right now?" Jack asked. "No, not these... older versions, but something is causing them to deteriorate... thankfully this batch hasnt gone haywire like the Lucid project. Jack scratched his head as he played with the mouse in the cage. "So your running out of time then? have you ran human trials yet? Jack asked nervously. "not yet, but if Harry here eats that block of cheese than im going to right away. currently the nanobeta serum likes to fix things too much and tends to make hypersensitivity a huge setback."

Jack stuck his metallic finger through the cage to try and get the three legged mouse's attention, but it just kept staring at itself in the tiny mirror. Both let out an equal sigh as time passed before them. "I saw your father the other day..." Jack said hesitantly. Rin's eyes grew wide. "Did you? how is he? is he still helping out that free clinic in Beta?" Rin asked excitedly. Jack stayed silent.... "Hes still up to his old ways, you can be sure of that." Jack muttered. "Thats good im glad hes helping people... make sure to tell him his little girl misses him next time okay?" Rins smile was bright and genuine but Jack couldnt bare to look up. "Sure... sure ill tell him." He said with a smile.

Rin looked up at her holotab and noticed it said 3:45pm. "Did you manage to get the extention for your green eyed friend out there?" Rin asked playfully. "Took a bit of negotiating, but the call will definately get delayed a few hours. most likely around Midnight." Jack stated. "Have you told her about Michelle yet?" Rin stared at the desk not wanting to see the look on Jacks face. "No... and if i recall i havent told you either." He said hesitantly. Rin kept quiet as she pulled up a small article on her holopad. "You didnt need to... you talk in your sleep and i put the pieces together. "

A news blog online shown a small article with the headlines. "Detective takes bribe and pays the price." a small paragraph states about how a Beta local detective has a run in with a couple local gangs. Caught taking bribes to look the other way during their wars and prostitution ring and sold out the entire thing afterwards. Jack couldnt bare to read the last part. "Local detective targeted by Diez-Setentas Gang in an attempted murder resulting in the casualty of a Michelle Roman, beloved sister of Jack Roman." Rin stated out loud. "GET OUT!" Jack yelled. Rin jumped out of her seat suprised of his reaction. "GET THE FUCK OUT-leave me alone!" Jack said tossing the holopad across the room. Rin quickly left and closed the door behind her. tears pouring from her eyes.She quickly cleaned her cheeks as she walked up towards Kate. "Jacks gonna take a quick rest in the office so im here to help you if you need it." Rin gave a quick sniff to clear her sinuses. "Doctor Rin Emris Stone at your service." She joked.
