Clint/Crew Quarters

Clint paused in aligning the print on the wall, certain that he was forgetting something. Well, never mind that, he had something else to focus on. Looking at the image of blue aquatic planet they had passed recently, he moved it a few feet to the right in order to balance out the red gas giant on that wall.

"Right, the bridge..."

He had been so intent on the task that he had nearly ignored the announcement, his mind filing it away as unimportant. He made a last adjustment and pressed the tape home, securing the picture to the wall. Smiling, he whistled a tune as he left his cabin and leisurely walked to the bridge. He picked up the pace, his mind at last relinquishing the last bits of the captains message.

"We have work to do."

He smiled with a glee barely held in check but the eyes above it hardened as Clint reached the doorway. He stepped through and took a single step to the side, lingering just inside of the doorway.
Did you catch my CS I posted last night?
Quintuple post, nice.

make that 14, i don't know what to say any more.

I think that's a Quadecuple-post.
I can't wait. Not even a little bit.
well there goes the pilot slot. I guess maybe a weapons operator for the ship might be useful.

Name: Clint Redeemer
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance:

'Now that's what I like, a gun you can sit the whole crew inside of.'
Personality:
Even giving his best effort to the contrary, Clint still puts off an aura of cold calculation. This is largely due to the fact that he puts his effort towards firing weapons with the intent to possibly destroy a ship carrying dozens or hundreds of lives. This fact doesn't bother him and although he doesn't do it with glee, he does it well.

Despite outward inpressions, Clint really does try his best to be personal. H'll carry on his own side of the conversation enthusiastically but when the focus drifts away again his smile fades and his gaze starts to wander. At all times his gaze retains the look of a predator watching a piece of prey that it doesn't quite want to expend the effort to kill.

Because of his past, he will do whatever it takes to protect a female ally.
Skills:
Clint is a weapons operator. Cannons, beams and missiles are all used with precision to deal precise damage to an opposing ship to disable it for boarding or destroy it outright. He has a bit of a head for tactics as far as a general idea goes but mostly applies it to finding where to apply his firepower.

Other than his gunnery skills Clint enjoys taking pictures of anything that catches his interest.
Equipment:
Clints only personal possession is his camera, used to document his travels in the unlikely event that he meets up with his sister again.
Brief Backstory:
Clint has a sister although she is several years older and hasn't been heard from in almost a decade. He signed aboard in the hopes that he might some day come across some sign of her in his travels. To date he is still hopeful but has not found a single trace. Clint is apprehensive about seeing her again and is unsure about what she will think of his life as a pirate.
Position in Crew: Weapons Operator

@TheFake: Okay, I realized what the one thing that was still making me hesitant is.

My one remaining concern is that, since anyone who hears him cast his two biggest spells is affected, this means that if player characters hear them they have nothing they can really do but stumble around blindly.

That's one of the big limitations. The easy way around that is to simply deafen each of them while casting (so they don't hear him) and then let them hear again once the effect is in place.

Firstly, spells are required to do magic. They can be cast mentally though, this just makes the process faster. Thinking about what you want rather than the spell won't achieve anything, though.

His spells are more parametric, where he casts them and defines the effects more specifically at that point. His spell is cast and then the mental image is used to define the outcome. Changed wording to make this more clear.

The Blackout Spell needs a little more defined on its limitations and area of effect.

Changed some wording to more clearly define range. Also noted that all of his spells have less of an effect on anything in the vein of Vampires and Homunculli.

Also this is a more minor thing but I haven't worked on werewolves yet for this setting so it might be for the best to avoid involving them for now. ^^;

Reworded to cast a large umbrella over all supernatural beings and create some tension in the group.

All of the changes are in my initial posting.
Here we go, Number 2.

now I have some shows to watch.
quick! I'll take number 2.

CS is imminent once I find some art.

We already have our chef. And, um, sorry, forgot about the bio here I'll handle it soon. ^^;

Too right, I think my brain might have been melted by the adorable slime girl. I guess an interceptor/fighter/transport pilot would be cool too.
