Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

"I see, well, thanks um, Ivy, right? You were really helpful. If you need any help just tell me, I'll be sure to return the favor," said David with a grin. Turning towards the cabin door, he knocked on it to check if there was anyone there.

"Hello? Anyone in here?"
KatherinWinter said
"The counselors cancelled the afternoon events because Dante is planning a party. Kyle says they don't approve or Dante ruined their plans. Either way everything got cancelled. Most of the kids are excited about the party though." Ivy explained as she bounced along.

"Huh. Okay, I guess. So, who's Dante, another counselor?" asked David. "And how many kids are here already?"
KatherinWinter said
Ivy nodded. "Then maybe you can keep Kyle company. I don't think he will be going to the party." She told him as she bounced along the path.

David followed Ivy. "So, what was this about stuff being cancelled and a party?" he asked. It was really bad luck that this happened when he just got here, but then again, maybe there was a reason.
"I'd like it if you brought me to my cabin first, thanks," said David with a smile. "My bags are kinda heavy," -which is a lie. David could hold these bags and several tons more for years, but Ivy didn't need to know that - "and I don't really think I'm ready for a party on the first day."
"Hm, wait." David pulled a paper out of his jacket pocket. It was the letter of acceptance from the camp. "Cabin 7, apparently. And don't worry about being to active around me. It's kind of nice actually. To many gloomy people these days." David added that last part with a grin.
KatherinWinter said
Ivy giggled as she bounced around the newcomer. She was use to people speechless around her. Kyle was always telling her that she could be alittle overwhelming to those who weren't use to her energy. "My name is Ivy. Are you going to the party? I like parties! I miss the activities though. I don't think Kyle will go. He isn't a party person. Do you know where your cabin is?

"Uh, er, hi?" said David, not really sure what in her speech should he address first. "I don't really know my cabin yet, I just got here after all." Then he went silent, unsure what to say next. "So, um, who's Kyle?" he said, randomly picking a topic.
KatherinWinter said
"HELLO!" Ivy bounced up to the newcomer. She threw her arms around his neck. "Welcome to camp. Your late. Everything has been cancelled. But Dante is throwing a party. He's a vampire!"

David, surprised at the sudden hug, had no idea how to answer for a few seconds. Finally, his brain came up with a suitable response. "Huh?"
David got off the motorcycle of Sister Ronsa and returned her helmet. "Thanks for the ride, sister," said David, "and thanks again for setting me up for summer camp. You've already done a lot for me."

The nun smiled back. "It's no problem David. It's what we're meant to do. What we want to do. Now go on, and have fun, okay?"

"Of course." After saying their final partings, the nun rode off and David made his way into the camp. "Hmm . . . maybe I should've waited until morning to come? Doesn't look like anyone's awake," he muttered to himself.
Okay then. Thanks :D
Thank you again!
So should I wait for the others to post or should I just go on with the introduction . . . ?
