"Maybe there aren't any heroes?" suggested Alice. "I know of some stories like that."

Alice let go of Summer. "Especially mine," she agreed. "So, what book is that, Ashley?"

Summer nods .She didn't know what it was like to have horrible parents but she knew she would hate it as much as Alice. "You do well putting up with them." Summer replies. "I hope that they don't make you leave i would miss you soooo much!." Summer gives Alice a quick hug.

Alice gave a small, gentle smile. "I'd miss you too," she said. "Which is why I argued so badly with my parents about this. School is about the only place where I feel free."

The girl returned Summer's hug, before adding: "I just wish I could eat all my troubles away," she said forlornly.

Summer looks up at Alice patting the seat next to her signifying her to sit down. "Parents?" Summer asks Alice seeing she looked worn out.

"Quite," sighed Alice, taking the seat and exploding into a rant. "I'm not even sixteen and yet they insist on dropping the most unsubtle and obvious 'hints' about taking up business management in College. This after openly talking about how handsome the heir of some company or whatever was. And have I mentioned that they keep insisting that I just leave here and get home schooled? I swear, they're driving me up a wall!"

Alice entered the room with a heavy sigh. "Hello," she breathed. The reason for her tired attitude was her parents. They were dropping hints (again) about what course she should take for college, and they weren't being subtle about it at all. Glancing at the group huddled around Ashley, she saw her holding a book.

Being the bibliophile that she was, of course Alice asked: "What book is that?"
