Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

What kind of map do you guys need? Just a general lay out of the Academy, or do you want me to make floor-plans as well :)?

Depending on which, I can get it done in about a week or two :D
Are Theodore and Tyler talking about Meruin . . . ?

"Interesting" Sol replied "So that mean's that once it is complete you will be able to fight without being held back by your body, an effective way to take care of your weakness." Sol said thoughtfully, "If you don't mind i would like to have a sparring session with you once you are finished with your ritual, i get the feeling that your powers must be quite impressive when your not held back by your body."

Meruin paused and considered it. She wanted to avoid fighting as much as she could, but at the same time, Sol could be useful in avoiding that. If she could somehow get on the Student Council Members' good-side, he could help her in avoiding unwanted fights.

"Okay," said Meruin, nodding her head slowly, "but don't expect too much from me. I think you overestimate how much exactly I could do."

"I know and I'm ready now." Aiden said trying his head to te side exposing his neck to her.

At this time, David decided he had swam long enough. He dived deep until he reached the bottom of the lake, then pushed upwards. It was like a missile went off underwater.

David flew at least 15 feet in the air, did a single somersault, before landing a few meters away beside Aiden, wearing only swimming trunks. "Boom! And David sticks the landing!" he crowed, not seeing Aiden or Isabella.

Sol took deep breaths and went through his stances, he felt much calmer now. He focused on the massive tree in front of him and his arm flickered for a second and a cut bisected the tree causing it to crash down to the ground, Sol had a satisfied look and his face, he could confidently say his swordplay was peerless. Now the only thing he had to pratice was his wind magic, he could think of numerous fun applications with enough pratice. Then Sol noticed the lines on the ground that seemed to be part of some sort of ritual, he followed the lines untill he came to their source, Meruin. Sol walked up and asked "What kind of ritual are you casting? it looks very impressive."

Meruin looked up at Sol, unsurprising at him being here. The wards she set up around the forest alerted her to his presence a few minutes prior. She debated whether or not to answer his question. In the end, she decided to do so. There was no harm in telling him, as she wasn't planning on fighting, and the ritual was a 'just in case' measure - albeit a very big and powerful one.

"It's a ritual I'm preparing just in case I get caught up in a fight," said Meruin, not looking up from the circle she was making, "It's called 'Pheonix Soul Parasite' - it's a fairly straightforward ritual that gathers expended energy from people, and turns it into a regeneration spell that I have constant access to. The spell range and potency is rather large, so it will take me awhile to finish this. I've already finished setting up the same ritual in the gymnasium, however."

"Well I do believe that Alastair started it all, he did call me pathetic, also I have a letter here that will pay for all the expenses that I create so besides time for the repairs I'm not to worried about the costs of my outbreaks. Also if you have yet to notice I'm VERY short tempered." He said trying to explain himself. He gave a glare at Alastair and said to him grimly "I suggest you don't start me up again or we might not go on our field trip."

Rina sighed and tapped his hand lightly. "It's hard to believe he started it if you were giving him the stink eye first, Nerox," said Rina, "and just because you can afford to do it doesn't mean you should. That's the thought train of a spoiled child, and I'd like to think you're better than that," she added the last part with a smile.

"Also, short-temperedness does not excuse destructive behavior or unnecessary and hurtful actions," scolded Rina, "acting on impulse like that only earns you trouble, so you should learn to control your temper instead of using it as an excuse."
David had finished his dinner quick and early, and was take a swim in the lake. He was underwater, and had been for almost an hour now, so he couldn't here the bell. Still, he knew it was almost time for them to get to the fire pit and decided to finish a few laps of swimming before returning.
Rina, seated to the side, squeaked in shock as Nerox threw a (rather destructive) tantrum. Still, she recovered her wits quickly enough - Nerox was nowhere as strong as a certain friend she knew back at her old orphanage, then again, you would be hard pressed to find someone stronger than him; David Robin could bench press cities with his strength.

Shooting an appreciative glance at Keegan for lecturing them and avoiding swear words, she turned to Alistair and Nerox. "You know, it's not really good to get on each other's cases like that, and um . . . I don't really know your names," she sheepishly admitted, "but both of the things you did were uncalled for."

Sol took a deep breath to be honest he wasn't sure why he was so angry either, "While i apologize for my outburst it was brought on by your seemingly uncaring note of her services and careless notice of her room for future reference seemed to be implying constant future use, while her job is to heal it doesn't mean that she is expected to constantly do it like she has today." Then he left to go into the forest surrounding the school to practice more, it seemed he might have some competition soon.

Meruin was already in the forest, etching magic circles here and there. What she was doing was creating a Grand Ritual Circle for the area. The ritual was called 'Pheonix Soul Parasite' - it was a fairly straightforward ritual that gathered expended energy from people, and turned it into a regeneration spell that she had constant access to, so long as she was inside the range of her circle. Still, the amount it gathered for her to use was staggeringly large, hence why it's a 'Grand' ritual.

Meruin had been doing this all around the school, since according to the principal, it wasn't illegal. Why she was doing it? To be prepared. That was the basis of all magic. Preparedness.
Render was simultaneously exasperated and entertained as a group of boys ran past him. It was just Elizabeth being herself as always, he supposed, but he sometimes wished that she could stop being so cursedly intimidating to every student she'd met. The Headmaster actually had to suppress a shudder at what would happen if Elizabeth tried that on Miataea - his currently indisposed Senior Student Representative.

The girl was docile and frankly quite plain outwardly, but Render wagered that there was no student (or even some of the teachers for that matter) in the school that could match her in sheer raw talent and skill. The fact that she compounded it with good work ethics was the icing on the cake. It was just too bad that she had a habit of experimenting with her spells unsupervised. Truthfully, her coming here hand been a fluke, like sending a large uncut diamond to a blacksmith rather than a jeweler - it should have ruined her. Instead, she flourished and became the schools best shot at nationwide recognition. In fact, come the Autumn Dragon Festival or even the Summer Phoenix Festival, Render would let her participate in the Honor Games as the Magestrava Grande of the school.

The Honor Games where tournaments held for senior student Magestrava to show-off the prowess of their representative Academy. For years, Adeline Academy was unable to participate due to being unable to produce students who could reach the standards of the Games. Now however, he not only had Miataea but also several other students that more than matched up to the standards, in his opinion. Each student had been under his scrutiny for years, and he knew each one's history, skills, personality. Heck, he might even go as far as to say he knew them better than themselves, in terms of potential.

Adam, Aoife - Fates he might even include Elizabeth and Veili in that list - and finally Miataea.

The other Academies where in for a surprise this year, thought Render,
