1. Isabella tells Aiden, Aiden walks up to David and slits his throat becuase he feels you threaten there relationship.
2. Aiden is already hostile towards people who try to get inbetween him in Isabella he could Think what your doing as a threat causing him to attack him. What's happening is pretty idiotic but that's my opinion.

You could try and slit his throat, but all you'll accomplish is breaking your knife . . .

You know, there IS a reason David just walked up to Isabella like that. He has supreme confidence in his ability to defend himself (and he also doesn't really care about his own life too much, so there's that) and finally, haven't we already established that David is being an idiot? I don't need you guys to keep repeating that fact, and so to make it clear:

I KNOW COMPLETELY WELL THAT DAVID IS BEING AN IDIOT, PERIOD.

how does he come to that conclusion? Dante has never said or done anything in front of anything to lead him to this conclusion to my knowledge
4: I do know that you've been influencing Aiden, and that you two are close without any cohersion on your part
How does he know that?

1. Bluffing - he's just telling her that to mess with her composure
2. Double bluff. He was initially fooled, but in the end, Dante himself cleared that up. Now he's acting like he knew it all along.
3. He's pretending that he's intuitively realized this.
4. Have to thank Jasmine for this, due to her meltdown during Arts & Crafts (or was that lunch? I forget :P) the rest is a combination of common sense and more bluffing.

As you can see, over 80% of what he's telling Isabella is misinformation xD
Also, you probably missed this, but David did in fact ally with Dante who shared information with him :D

She shook her head. It wasn't her business, so she may as well head back to her room. Along the way, she placed her hand on the wall across the hallway. A circle etched itself into the wall and glowed faintly for a second before disappearing. Meruin proceeded forward like nothing had happened.
