Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Kittens make me smile
"Thanks, I owe you one," said David, before crouching and jumping high up in the air, to see if he could spot Ivy from there. Hopefully she was using fire; that would make his job easier.
David sighed in relief. He was usually creeped out by the counselors, but for now he was just thankful. He nodded towards Kyle. "While they're healing her, I'll try and find Ivy. I don't want her to wake up alone, so could you stay with her for a bit?" he asked. Man, it's just one thing after another, huh?
"Dammit, Kyle, can you help me get her to her cabin? She doesn't look good." David placed a finger near her nose. "Shit, she isn't breathing either!"
"That's what I mean by clapping away the flames," said David with a grin. Then Cordie fell down and the grin melted. "Jesus Christ! Cordie, hey!"
"Hmm, lots of clouds. That's good; makes it easier for you to see this." David stretched hia arms until his hands reached his shoulders then put them together.

"5% POWAAAAAAAH!!!" He shouted gleefully. As his hands came together, a resonant -

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

- ressounded throughout the camp and cleaved the clouds in half. Even though the force went upwards, the resulting wave still had enough force to blow a man to the ground.
"Ah, well, can you stand back for a bit?" he asked. Then looked up at the sky. "This might be a bit loud, but anyway, kindly stare up at the sky for me?"
David raised his head. "Oh, oops, sorry about that," he said sheepishly. "Just . . . well, you asked how I could clap away fire. Wait . . . I don't think I've really had the chance to show anyone at camp what my ability is, have I?"

Now that he thought about it, everyone here had used their abilities in full, except him.

Rina got out of her room. It's been awhile since her last physical activity, and she wondered if maybe she should write a letter to David asking for some tips.
