"Are you joking? Of course I'm holding back," said a grinning Chase. Then she let loose her aura. It was simply a byproduct of her being powerful, but the hum of power caused by her very existence rang golden throughout the earth. Chase sat crossed-legged while floating on the air, looking down on James and Liz, "not to belittle you, but going all out isn't an option for me against you two; it isn't worth it."
She looked at Reina, "Can you give us a nice playground, pretty please?" In response, her Rival sighed but complied. Muttering one word under her breath, the Headmaster, Tyler, Meruin, Chase, Liz and James found themselves surrounded by an entirely different scenery. It was a thick jungle with various ruins scattered here and there. Nearby, the sea waved back and forth on a pristine white beach.
"Thank you very much, Reina. Now . . . entertain me, children," said the Golden Empress.

Funny thing; I actually forgot that Liz was water elemental while writing the post about sinking Atlantis xD Pretty coincidental.
Chase did nothing else but laugh! She liked the spunk of this girl, even if she did wonder what had gotten into her suddenly. Meruin, for her part, looked like she had an epiphany. Oh, of course. She's part water elemental . . .
"Hahahaha! Yes, that is a good attitude! I, Chase Asu du Morgan, the Golden Empress, accept your challenge!"
Reina shook her head and sighed. "Well, if that's what you want, I've no reason to stop you. Very well. Do you want to do this alone, or perhaps you'd like a partner to help?"

Just so you know, Reina and Chase will just be side characters :) You can do what you want with them for now, but I don't plan on keeping them here. They're broken even by my standards. Still love those girls though; they were my very first RP characters ^_^
Reina and Chase paused in their actions. The white haired Archmage raised a brow, while Chase began grinning veeeeeeerrry slowly. "Hoh~? Did I just hear what I think I just heard? You know, I don't think I've been challenged to a duel in the last . . . how many years was it now Reina?"
"Seventy-seven years. In case you forgot, that challenge was issued by the Grand Water Elemental Undine right after you defeated Poseidon after you sunk at Atlantis . . . erm, sunk it even lower anyway," said Reina, grimacing as she remembered that particular event. "That being said, are you said, little one, you do realize that this will not be so much a fight and more of a one-sided bag toss, yes?"
Meruin was thinking much the same as Reina was. "Liz, while I'm sure my Master and Lady will not do you any permanent harm, what exactly do you hope to accomplish?"

It suits you, but then again, when does a Soul RUne ever not suit someone eh? Anyway," said Chase, turning and gesturing towards the school, "how is life here? Have you made any friends, or perhaps a boyfriend?"
"No boyfriends, Lady Chase," said Meruin in exaspiration, "but as for friends . . . I think I made some? I made one definitely though." Do Tyler, Mutt or Sol count as friends? Liz was definitely a friend. She'd said so herself.

"Ah, it's good to see that despite your calm exterior, your still a little girl at heart, my Meruin," said Chase. "Now! Let me see that Soul Rune of yours!"
