Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

Not quite yet! We need a few more people in on the game!

And yay! Sorry about that Liz, but you can deal with it right? xD
"Enough."

With that one word, a wave of golden aura washed through the area. It completely wiped all traces of magic, and the strength of James went away with it. Chase began pacing towards Joseph, not looking very pleased anymore. "Listen here, boy, from hereon, your brother is under my protection. Your logic is twisted and downright deplorable, but you had good intentions, which is why I'm allowing you to stay alive."

Chase was shorter than Joseph, but once again, that golden aura of hers made her seem more towering than anyone in sight. "Do not even think about touching another hair on your brothers body, or I will come after you personally and twist you into pretzels like I did C'thulu, understood?"
Meruin jumped as she felt a . . . nose touch her behind. She wheeled towards the offender and . . . "Of course it was you Mutt," she muttered. "In the future, I'll have you refrain from doing that please, otherwise, I might . . . accidentally take off your nose. By accident of course." Reina was also glaring at Mutt, wondering who the hell he was.

Chase frowned and stared at the newcomer, then at James. "Wait a moment, didn't you say it was your brother . . . ?"
Meruin and Reina at once glowered at the newcomer. For some reason, they were gripped with the need to hide away all their books.
"So . . . yeah, I don't think it's at all that nice of me to meet you," said Chase, "considering I broke the seal you placed on your brother. By the way, what the hell were you thinking boy?"
What the hell Mutt?! xD Also . . .
Name*: Chase Asu du Morgan
Photo: (I'll make one soon)
Age*: Looks about 21 though she is significantly older than that.

Gender*: Female

Abilities*: Millions of spells and enchantments. Is an adept along the Aeon of Destruction - she can destroy anything she has knowledge of, including vague things such as concepts. Is a master at combat magic and various body enhancements.

How you could work in a team: ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL FULL POWER TOTAL DESTRUCTION!

Personality*: Honest, straightforward, and totally confident in herself. Blunt with her criticisms and holds nothing back. Enjoys a good challenge.

History: Was originally a fire mage who was not very respected in her community, which valued flexibility in their magic above all else. Chase focused heavily on nothing but her fire magic for years and combat, and at the age of 21, touched upon the Aeon of Destruction. Of course, she was still a novice at using her abilities, but she still had a power that no one else had - a very great on at that. Dozens of years passed, and now she is one of the most recognized mages in the world. It is rumored that she constantly hops to different dimensions to find worthy opponents, including the likes of C'thulu and Yog Sothoth, but nobody can confirm these rumors.

That isn't weird is it? Most of my friends back home aren't christian, so they don't really get it. I also like eating and cooking by the way! I wanna learn how to bake, but I'll save that for another time. Listening to music is also a hobby of mine."

Dislikes: "I have a few dislikes, after all, who doesn't? This includes discrimination and violence, however, above all I absolutely despise apathy."

Personality: Miriam, partly due to her upbringing, is usually calm and relaxed and constantly has a smile on her face, even under intense pressure and horrible situations. This attitude of hers is particularly for when she is around other people; she does her best to seem fine so that other people can relaxed and cheerful in turn; only when she is safely out of sight does she breakdown - this is especially hard for her, because despite her normal attitude, she's still a young woman, and is nowhere near as strong as she wants others to believe. Her attitude when it comes to work is serious, methodological, organized and hardworking, but when working with others she has problems being straightforward because she doesn't want to step on anyone's toes. Miriam prefers preventing conflict rather than ending it.
For Miriam, she considers her existence to be for the sake of helping other people; her own wishes count for next to nothing. Her natural (not to mention extreme) martyrdom applies to almost everyone, and she never turns away someone in need. However, she has not deluded herself into thinking she is some sort of messiah; she knows that she cannot save anyone, even is she wants to.
Regardless of all these traits, however, Miriam does not in fact feel compelled to help other people for the sake of her ego or because of some sense of duty; she helps others because to her, it is simply the right thing to do. To ignore other in need is a sin above all others in her eyes, and she will have nothing of it.

History: Miriam is the fourth child out of ten siblings. Her father was a enlistee in the Philippine Army, while her mother, an illegitimate child from an Israeli tourist and a local waitress, was a dishwasher at a local pub. Naturally, that meant there wasn't much money around, so they lived in poverty. Still, her family was relatively happy, and while her father was an atheist, her mother was a devout Christian. It was from her that her love of the faith stemmed . . . but perhaps it would have been better if her mother was a little less enthusiastic about teacher her their religion: Miriam absorbed her lessons too much, and her sense of martyrdom broke out in a way no one in her family was prepared to deal with. This sense of self-sacrifice was further aggravated by the poverty she lived in. Miriam began doing things that affected her health - she would give away her lunch to beggars, comfort the sick and dying despite the risk of exposure, and even began getting involved with quarrels at the pub her mother worked in.
Distressed, her family took many measures to curb her urge to help. There were many of them, but suffice it to say that none of them worked. Her family gave up on this, and for years simply tried to make sure she didn't get herself killed. They always nearly failed. Once she entered her fourth year of high-school, however, an opportunity to stop or at least slow down her dangerous habits presented itself: Several of wealthier her uncle and aunts began offering her family a chance to go abroad and study there. Of course, in a family of ten kids that went to cheap, dirty public schools, such a chance was more than just a gift; it was practically a god-send.
The first to go was of course, Miriam, who was accompanied by her older brother. The younger ones would stay with the family until they got to high-school. Her parents hoped that in a place with not so much poverty and less people in need, Miriam wouldn't be able to act on her self-sacrificing tendencies. Of course, they had no idea about a certain experiment . . .

Well, they do say the lord works in mysterious ways . . .

Power: Self-Healing and Manipulation and Sensing of Injuries and Sickness. Her abilities take some explanation: Self-Healing is exactly as it sounds where Miriam recovers rapidly from injuries and sickness, however the process is slow can only be done when at rest (sleeping). When at a sufficient distance from a person (about 3 meters) she cans sense whether a person is injured or not with her body, meaning she will feel what the person afflicted is feeling.
Naturally, this becomes problematic when multiple people are injured/sick. She can swap a persons health with her own through skin contact; if she is injured and comes across a healthy person, through contact she becomes the healthy one and the other person gets her injury. The vice-versa of this, where she is healthy and another person is injured, is also possible.
Chase laughed in delight. "Well, if that is the case, then I think I will accept! One question before I do, however; what would you possibly like me to teach?" she asked.

Meruin jumping with joy. Lady Chase! Here! At school! Teaching! she internally squee'd. Of course, she would have preferred if Master Reina was the one who stayed (even Chase admits that she's infinitely the better teacher) but this was still good!
Looks like your new guy isn't going to get along well with Meruin xD Anyway, on the classes part, I'm thinking we should be flexible here. We have class scenes when we want to, and if we don't we can just timeskip through them. What do you think?

James brother is a bit old. Would that make him a teacher?

Also, since it looks like Chase is going to be here permanently, should I make a character sheet for her? I wasn't planning for either of them to stay long . . .
Reina looked surprised, while Chase just smirked. "W-well, that IS a bit sudden. I haven't had anyone ask me to teach since, since, well Meruin!" said Reina, a little unsure of what to say. "I set a lot of time for Meruin during her apprenticeship, and I don't think I can do so again. Meruin is really the one and only person I'm willing to invest so much time in."

Chase scratched her chin in thought. "I may have some time to teach your kids, but occasionally I'll be gone for long stretches of time. Perhaps I wouldn't be the best of teachers with my constant absences, but if you're willing to put up with that and still get me on a good payroll, I suppose I could do so," said Chase.

Meruin meanwhile was a bit excited; if Lady Chase could teach here, then she'd have one of the most important people in her life nearby! Also, Chase was one of the most prominent (maybe even the most prominent) battle mages of all time. With her newly discovered Soul Rune being combat oriented, having her close by would speed the development of her abilities tenfold
Reina clapped her hands to get Meruin and Chase's attention. "Well, why don't we get that picture now, right?" she said. "Also, I remember saying that I wanted Meruin to wear her old uniform. My, it's a good thing you didn't grow all that tall. I barely had to make any modifications."

The mage snapped her fingers, and at once, the plain dress Meruin was wearing was replaced with a more practical but very beautiful looking outfit. It was a sleeveless white tunic with golden trims, and a a golden sun design around the chest area. It had detached sleeves of the same color, and a skirt with an open center, revealing the snug white pants underneath. "There! Alright, now Chase, just go to her left. Good? One, two, three, cheese!"

A floating camera clicked and three of them smiled. The two masters would soon be leaving after this.
