Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Seven people! All right, that's enough people for now, though I'll still be accepting moar! IC will be ready in a moment . . .
Haha, yeah thanks Eklipse alright, I'll start setting up the RP then. It'll be ready in a few minutes.
The magic is in the character, however it can only be used effectively when a weapon is in their hands. - A person's ability with magic is determined by the affinity they have with certain spells and their weapon - Weapon affinity is determined by how long a person has been using a specific weapon. Weapons of the same type do not count. - Picking up a different weapon will still allow you to use magic, but in return, your effectiveness with whatever spell you have in mind is cut into 1/7 of its original effectiveness. Man, its been awhile since I've had to explain magic mechanics. Feels pretty good xD Anyway, does that answer your question? If you do decide to join by the way, I can start up the RP, since your pretty much the seventh member already :3
_A WIP OOC but I figured to see if anyone was interested first._ --- ####_Premise_: In this world, everyone is unique (of course, that raises the argument that if everyone is unique, then no one is, but that's for another time . . .) and the uniqueness of every person is usually attributed to one thing: talent. No matter how well one argues, it is a fact that everyone possess a innate sense of excellence at a particular field. For some, in could be something relatively normal, like sports or mathematics; for others, it may be more specialized. All that matters is that you and everyone around you is indeed good at _something_. There comes a point in time where those talents have a chance to be nurtured and enhanced. This could happen at the gym, or somewhere online, where you find the one place your talent truly shines. Sometimes, this place is a highly sophisticated place that takes some searching to find, but sometimes, it could also be a highly normal place, like school for example. At school, there are many chances for talent to develop. Sportsmen join varsities and creativity is nurtured in similarly artistic societies. Here, you could cultivate the talent you possess to extraordinary levels! Why, you may even bend the laws of physics one day! Haha, of course, that's going a bit to far . . . or is it? There is a certain school that for some reason or another, gifts all the students under its building with abilities far beyond normal logic. The teachers are of course, unaware of this, and the students themselves have made it a point to keep them uninvolved. All major activity is done by night, and powers are not to be used during the day - those are the two most ironclad rules among the countless other unspoken ones. This certain school has been divided into five factions (six, if you count those unaffiliated with any faction) based upon the rulers of the school: five students who through effort or luck have become the most influential and powerful personalities on campus. Everyone has their own agenda, and the school itself is rife with mysteries and unsolved puzzles - most especially the recently discovered underground entrance that no one has yet dared to open. What happens next is up to you . . . ####_Location(s)_: *Main:* Saint Dmyphna's Highschool, Wales - located specifically on top of a mountain overseeing the city, surrounded by a densely populated forest. - 4 Cafeterias (two large, two small, located North & South for the small ones and East & West for the larger ones) - 3 classroom buildings - 2 abandoned old school buildings (hidden door is located in one of these) - 2 swimming pools - 1 football/track field - 1 sports complex (volleyball, table tennis, basketball, gymnastics, bodybuilding, etc.) - 2 quadrangles - 3 dormitories (Male, Female, Staff) - 2 Workshops - 2 gymnasiums ####_Important NPC's_: WIP, if there are enough people interested, I'll reveal the different rulers of the school and their abilities. ####_Character Sheet_: **Name:** **Picture/Description:** **Age:** **Gender:** **Personality:** **Talent:** **Ability:** **Bio:** **Other:**
"Oh, that's nice," said Meruin, inching a bit closer to him. "Do you mind if I try to read it? It's been awhile since I've tried to read up on elemental mastery. I mostly focus on Rune Work." Technically not lying. She really hasn't read up on elemental magic in a long while . . . but that was because she's damn well read near _all_ the books related to the subject.
Aaaaand two more xD Thanks for comin' over, Eklipse. I assume you'll be around when I make Alma Mater Maximus? :3
Well, it was slow going but three people is still good :) I just have to wait for four more, then I'll inform you all if the IC has been made. Also, there will be a few additions to the OOC stuff, especially for magic types.
"Don't mind me," said Tracy, aware that no one really was minding her, "I'll just be -_urgh_- here! Hurling my g-gu . . ." she paused for a few seconds and inhaled and held it in, before sighing deeply, "hurling my _guts _out. Okay I'm done!" The red-head jumped up shook herself from head to toe. Grinning at the others, she said: "Whew, that was a rush! Looks like I still need to get used to moving at intense speeds. I'll make note of that later. So, what do we do next? I assume we go after the real thing now, hm? And I have to agree with Markus here. Why wouldn't they try this again?" Logically, after finding their victims, one would always stumble upon the culprit soon enough, right? If they did not, it was a possibility that the crime could happen again. In her head, this was the first of many hurdles, and a great challenge. How would the Warlock fight? Did it use human logic to combat them, or did it have a completely alien strategy? Did they even _think_ about strategy? She had so many questions! Still, in the end it all amounted to what she would do when faced with the monster. It was something that could kill her, no, _them_ and it would be their first time fighting such a thing. Tracy let out a shaky breath, and at the thought of facing such a creature she grew nervous . . . but for all the wrong reasons. Tracy still grinned, except now it looked decidedly more feral.
Chase said a brief goodbye to Meruin, before walking away. She had lesson plans to make and things to pack for her trip. Meruin looked at the new girl with interest. There was something vaguely off with her, but Meruin couldn't pin down _what_. She shook her head and left it at that. It was a mystery for another time. Meruin walked towards Tyler, hands wrung behind her back, and stepped towards him slowly. "What are you doing?" she asked, peering at Tyler, then at the book on his hands, then back.
*A new RP for y'all in celebration of the new guild :3* --- ####_Premise_: _Early on (specifically, around the 1700's) magic was discovered. When it was found to be incompatible with modern science, study of the art was nearly lost, until World War I rolled along. It was then discovered that for some reason or another, magic at its very core was tied inexplicably to bladed weapons of all kinds. The powers and abilities displayed by the magic enhanced cavalry and blades-men opened the eyes of many people. _ _Over three hundred years have passed since then, and study into the 'Magic of Blades' or as the scientific community likes to call it 'Blade Impulse Phenomena' has developed into a worldwide interest, with many people placing a lot of money into its research potential. One fundamental discovery is that it was easier to develop magic during puberty. Because of this, high schools heavily dedicated to teaching teenagers how to use their abilities were founded. One particular academy, set in between the border of England and Scotland,is of special interest to the international community: For it is here that the greatest known Blade Master. Elias Chamberman, trained._ ####_Rules_: 1. No godmodding (you should know this by now) 2. No killing without permission. I allow that during Casual or Advanced RP's but not during Free one's. We're here to blow-off steam from those heavy-ass roleplays after all xD 3. Keep your romance PG-13 at all times 4. Try to quote whoever you're replying to as much as possible, since there is no posting order here. 5. Keep your grammar and spelling to an acceptable level, otherwise: noe on wlli be abel to reed oyur psosts 6. Don't argue with the GM. Debate, yes, argue, come on! Why would you even do that? I'm a nice guy, I swear! 7. No trolling the other players OOC. IC, sure, just don't make it personal. 8. Have Fun! ####_Character Sheet_: **Name:** **Picture/Description:** **Age:** **Nationality:** **Weapon of Choice (Must be a bladed weapon):** **Magic Specialization (physical enhancement, Avatar Summoning, Elemental Control, etc. Must be related to Weapon of Choice):** **Bio:** **Other:** ####_Accepted Characters_:
